Does anyone know of any fics where they make you think of Mass Effect, Halo, Star Wars? I'm a fanatic for space. I'll take anything 😍

Hi guys, I'm in the mood for a couple of different non-specific J2 stories but I don't think these two things are particularly on any rec lists anywhere or have specific tags but I'm sure you lovely peeps will know of some stories including such things so here goes:

1. Stories where one of the J's was previously married. Maybe it causes them to be extra cautious and afraid of commitment. Maybe the marriage was abusive and very unhappy. Maybe they bump into said ex-hubby and some explaining proceeds afterwards. IDK why this popped into my head but I just think it could lead to some interesting story plots etc wherein a past very serious relationship effects the brand new one they're trying to create. (I've added a few abuse tags. It's not mandatory for this request, but I just thought I'd add some as a warning in case some stories recommended here do include abuse seeing as I have mentioned it.)

2. Stories with unsupportive and judgmental parents. Either Jensen or Jared always being labeled as the disappointment child. Either because they're gay, their career prospects or their life choices in general. You know, the unfortunate, "Did you know your brother got promoted?" "Your sister has just announced her engagement." "You were such a bright boy in school, you could have done so much with that brain of yours." Etc etc. Obviously the other J cheers them up :)

Hi, are there any fics out there that focus on Sam finding out about Destiel? Either Sam finds out about their relationship, or they aren't together yet and Sam finds out that Dean or Castiel has feelings for the other?

I'd really like stories focusing on Sam realizing Dean's feelings, and having to come to terms with his brother being bisexual. I'm fine with a right-off-the-go supporting!Sam, or initially dubious, slightly disconcerted!Sam. I don't mind if Sam acts slightly homophobic initially, as long as he's loving and accepting in the end.

I'd especially like stories that focus on Sam realizing that Dean is pining for Castiel, but that Dean doesn't think the angel could ever love him back (either because Cas is an angel so it seems obvious that a male/male relationship would be taboo, or because Dean believes himself to be inherently unloveable), and Sam feeling his big brother's pain and perhaps trying to find out by himself if Cas could actually return Dean's feelings, and tries to set them up.

Basically, I'm kind of looking for a Destiel fic focusing on Destiel from Sam's point of view. Please help?

I'm looking for fics where animals are drawn to Castiel because he's an angel, or he has pets/pets are following him. I read an adorable one about a guinea pig recently and I want more! Just searching for 'Castiel' and 'animals' brings up a lot of poorly written crack!fic, which has a time and a place but is not what I'm looking for.

I'm having a really hard time finding fics that deal with s8.

Mostly in that most I've seen give way too much sympathy for Sam abandoning Dean in Purgatory.

I'd just like to read something where Sam shows actual remorse, and that don't try to come up with excuses or make us feel sorry for Sam. I really don't want to see anything that gives Sam an excuse for behaving like an asshole, or that ignore the way he tried to blackmail Dean into shutting up. I just want to read something that has Sam facing up to what he put Dean through, without trying to make Dean the bad guy for reacting badly to the way Sam treated him.

Any pairing's fine, crossovers are a plus, and I would love a focus on Dean having PTSD from Purgatory

For the record, I prefer nothing that bashes Sam, I just don't want to see yet another story that completely ignores Dean's pain in order to come up with excuses for Sam's horrendous attitude.

Looking for a specific lost fic.

It’s J2, a longish one. Jared and Jensen haven’t been together since Supernatural ended. Jensen has a son and he’s waiting for the son’s 18th birthday (I think) to commit a suicide - has a gun ready and everything. One day the son hears Jensen crying in the shower saying ”Jay”. He figures out "Jay" might stand for "Jared", finds Jared’s phone number and calls him for help. I also remember Jared finding Jensen by a fountain and wrestling the gun from his hands.

So I've always been fascinated by the whole mind control aspect of Sam's demon powers. So I was wondering if there were any wincest fics dealing with this. You know, where Sam uses his powers to coax Dean into sex or something? (I'd particularly really love fics where Sam uses his powers to bring Dean to orgasm without touching him *blushes*).
