FOUND!!! Specific Search: Dean/Cas, Cas Mate searching
I know I have read this story before, and I just cannot for my life recall where or who it is by so I'm asking the geniuses.
This is what I recall:
Cas is leading heaven and must choose a mate.
Cas pulls Dean in as an Advisor
Cas informs Dean that Angelic Mating rituals start with choosing another Angel's Heaven and gift giving.
I think Raphael was in this and he gave Cas the death of a soldier for a gift.
