(Dean is not always shown in the best light here)

For 1: Orange Is the New Plaid (http://archiveofourown.org/works/5073550): AU. Benny isn't new to the realities of prison life. He's been a medic on staff at several facilities where the inmates are locked into rooms at night. But he's never seen the likes of the Winchesters, and he suspects there's far more to these prisoners than he's been told. Most of what he's been told is that these men are ruthless, dangerous, and not to be trusted.

For #3, you should try the 'Heaven, Hell, and a Mechanic' series by Jedipati on ff.net. Sam rules hell, Cas rules heaven, and Dean's a mechanic living on Earth with Lisa. They get together fairly often. It's mostly just a fun series but some of them are more serious. Really good either way.

Just checked, she's also on AO3 if you prefer that.
