Gen or not porny podfics?

Hello!!! So I just discovered the beauty of podfics or audiobooks (not sure what the difference is?) and I looooooovvved listening to "Lazerus Came Forth" and am looking for people's favorite gen podfic. I noticed there's a lot of slash and I love slash, but I can't listen to it out loud because I blush uncontrollably (I know, pathetic right?!).

So, anything gen fits. Any length, as angsty or light as you like (angst is my fave). Oh and there can be a sam/dean relationship or a J2 one just no or very little porn to it...so I guess it doesn't have to be gen, it can be pre-slash too.
Aaaah I feel like I've made this confusing, just please please point me in the direction of some great podfics you enjoyed that were read well and good stories without the porny bits.
Also, if there's one you want to rec but it has nc-17 in it a little bit or a small sex scene or something so you're unsure then go for it, I can handle blushing through a little bit of it if you think the story is worth it!!!!

"Of Bastard Saint" Nilchance & Beanside ....Oh, I think you will really enjoy this one!
"Speechless" by Candle Beck ...another one that is slash but, shouldn't make you blush....maybe, Candle Beck doesn't do a lot of graphic porn, so almost anything she does she be fine.
"Evil Intent" by Chemm80..nice case fic

Here (http://audiofic.jinjurly.com/category/fandomsupernatural/supernaturalgen) is the Supernatural genfic area of General Jinjurly's Audiofic Archive.

I would recommend poking around in this archive. There are tons of different fandoms, pairings and ratings; including RPS, etc. It's all tagged and very well organized. There is always a link to the text so that you can check out the story before you download it. You might be able to find some slash that doesn't make you blush!

Additionally, most everything is posted in mp3 and m4b formats. The m4b is the audiobook. It's compiled a little stronger than the mp3. For OCD freaks with control issues when it comes to their iPod (who, me? never!) the m4bs are a lifesaver.

Just a little more fyi: mp3s will automatically file themselves in the music section of your itunes. The m4bs will automatically file in the audiobook section. This does not mean that you cannot make the mp3 file move to the audiobook section, but I find it easier to just download those to begin with.

I hope you find good stuff! Be brave and poke everywhere in there! I have ventured into many different fandoms through podfic.

ooooh yay again!! I love all these lists and collections I'm getting. Thank you for giving me specifics too! It's so overwhelming looking through all of these but I'm super excited to listen to them. I usually pretty exclusively read slash so it's fun to hear all these gen stories that I never read. It's nice to have variety but for some reason I can't listen to slash, even though I love reading it.

Hey, no worries about the tangent! I understand your issue with listening to slash. I read slash in multiple fandoms, but I mostly prefer extremely long but non-explicit stories for podfic, which is why my rec post is mostly gen.

Maybe it's because I do a fair bit of listening in public...

Non porny slash is still great!!! Thank you for these, I feel like a lot of what I got was angsty so it's nice to have some romance. :) These all sound really entertaining and I like them because I'm not sure I'd have read them myself, so it's good to listen to them instead! :) I'm especially looking forward to the harlequin one, sounds fun!
