#1 FOUND! (was: LF spec and gen Sam saves Dean from Hell fics - GEN only, please)
Ok, I was recently reminded of the creative solutions that were written in which Sam saves Dean from the Hell deal, either before or after Dean is actually dragged to Hell.
The specific fics I just can't find are:

1. Sam saves Dean from Hell, I can't remember whether before or after the deal came due, but as time goes along, Dean realizes that Sam has actually destroyed the world. Everyone and everything is a projection of Sam's except for Dean and Sam. Sam tells Dean that he had a choice and he chose Dean.

2. At least two fics wherein the actual way Sam saved Dean isn't clear. Instead, the focus is on Sam and Dean hunting. I'm not sure if Dean has amnesia and doesn't remember Sam or if he just doesn't remember this version of Sam, but he is observing other people's reactions to Sam and is nervous. I think they hunt a chupacabra on a rancher's land and the rancher comes out to throw them off. He knows Sam and reminds him that he's not to trespass again. When he hears who Dean is, he tells Dean to get as far away from Sam as possible.
Generally, I'm looking for GEN (non-slash) stories written during the summer hiatus post-Season 2, but I'm also interested in fics post-Season 3.
I really appreciate any help you can give, especially on the specific fics. It's so hard to google without a title or author name.
