I'm just presuming that gen is ok as well?

I think Blind Spot (http://pdragon76.livejournal.com/34039.html) would meet that criteria. "Dean's on a slow burn after a bloody confrontation with an old nemesis. Sam's got his hands full picking up the pieces. The Crossroads Deal isn't the only timer ticking."

Also, I got really shaken by The woods are lonely, dark and deep (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4954718/1/The_Woods_are_Lonely_Dark_and_Deep) (Zatnikatel) and even more so - a LOT more so - by the sequel The Killing Moon (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5231870/1/The_Killing_Moon) "Missy Bender was three things. She was obsessive. She was insane. And she was in love – with a tall, beautiful stranger who looked real purty when he was hurting. But unfortunately for Dean Winchester, one thing she wasn’t was still locked in the closet…"

Aaaaaand, there was 66 Seals of Doom on the wall (http://adrenalineshots.livejournal.com/9000.html): Takes off right after episode "In the Beginning". Dean's task takes on proportions that are sure to lead to drastic and heart breaking paths. Will he be able to follow through? Angels are there to help him, but he doesn't always like the sort of help being offered.
Alternative s4, that is so close to the real thing it isn't even funny!

This one made me tear up, though it's less whump of the physical kind and more of the Sam-being-demon-blood-and-ruby-high- kind. It was still awesome, though. ...and deposit your trash in the receptacles provided (http://innocentculprit.livejournal.com/4212.html#cutid1)" Between the Winchesters and the Apocalypse lies engine trouble and a bad breakdown in communication. Oh, and ghosts. Nasty ones."

Also, though totally not my genre (wincest), The bright lights of disturbia are shockingly whumpy!
