Its sort of like waves but that's not it. I remember the first part of the story has Dean arriving on Campus rather late into the evening and he buys pie or a burger at the campus cafeteria just as they're closing for the night and he ends up sharing it with Cas who had just got out of study group or something..... I like Waves its a good story. I think I read them about the same time this story and Waves... So I might be getting a few details mixed up. But chapter one has Dean arriving late on campus - that is pretty clear in my mind.
