Samifer fics: dark!possesive!protective!lucifer, and in-character Samifer
Kind of an unusual request.
1. I know my chances are incredibly slim on this but what the hell. In the canon story Lucifer once told Sam that he would never lie to him and that he would always look after Sam and 'protect him' if he ever said yes to him. Lucifer's greatest sin was that he 'loved too much' right? So I was wondering if there were any Samifer fics focused on this? Fics where Lucifer loves Sam to the point where he's darkly possessive/protective of him? Alternatively, I will even take AU's...perhaps fics where Sam catches the eye of Lucifer who's determined to have him and love him...even if Sam doesn't want it?
As usual, no non-con please. And also, please no fics where Lucifer tortures Sam or stuff like that because I can't stand them. Dub-con is fine ^^

Cage!fic. In possibly the worst place in creation, with only a bitter and angry Michael still wearing Adam for company, Sam decides sticking with Lucifer is better than nothing. But with memories of what he learnt about Lucifer while his vessel in mind, Sam finds that maybe the devil's companionship is not as bad as it seems. Eventual Samifer.
I cannot even begin to tell you how awesome and touching this story is. I was actually somewhat depressed and fell in bit of a reading slump when I finished because it seemed like no other fic would ever compare and hit me like that.

I just finished reading the first fic (yes, I have read the Fourth Wall series ^^) and you're right, it's really good (I'm totally going to go with the headcanon that Sam jumped in the last chapter D:).
Unfortunately, like you said, there arent many fics under this genre, so I can't really rec anything much for you...I'm pretty sure the ones that I have, you've already read.
Since you said that Fear of Falling was your favourite samifer fic, I would like to share mine.. I'm sure you've already read it, because it was quite popular with the Samifer fans on fanfiction.net... Stairway To Heaven (https://www.fanfiction.net/s/9065863/1/Stairway-to-Heaven) by SnarkyMuch2

If you haven't read it....Seriously, I can't begin to tell you how much I loved this fic. To date, it still remains my favourite ever Samifer fic, and I still go back and read it, because I love it so much. Like you, I was kind of depressed after finishing it because I thought I'd never be able to find another fic to compare. And I haven't so far (it's actually really depressing because the author promised us a sequel and she suddenly disappeared and hasn't come back).
Anyway..word of warning when you read it..carry a box of tissues, because you're going to need it! D:
So apart from that, like I said, I really don't have any good samifer fics in that genre. I do have two short fics, by Fightlikeagirl (actually I'd recommend all of her/his fics), but they're more to do with possessive!lucifer (who's a little bit obsessed with Sam), than a Lucifer who's actually in love with Sam.

And thanks so much for the recs you gave me, most I don't know yet. I'm rather new to this pairing and am always thrilled when I find another Samifer fic that fits. You would think there would be more out there... Sadly, most stories I find seem to be only one-shots. They are great, too but sometimes you just want dive into a long story and don't reemerge for a while.
