Destiel AU

Okay, I got to thinking (dangerous! lol)... What if Dean and Castiel's roles in SPN were reversed? As in... Sam and Castiel are brothers (or even just BFFs) who hunt demons and Dean is the angel who pulls Castiel from Hell. And they still have the same personalities we know and love (Cas= awkward. Dean=Dean, lol)

Are there any stories like that, with a Dean/Cas pairing preferably. Especially if it takes an episode and uses this twist. I mean, can you picture how some episodes might have gone if that were the case? Would "The Rapture" have been as intrigiung and sad? How about "The End"... would future!Castiel made the same decisions that future!Dean did? How would Castile have reacted to Sam's relationship with Ruby?

Doesn't help you at the moment, but I have one in the works where Cas is a church-foundling raised as a hunter-priest by Pastor Jim... who makes a deal when Meg kills Jim and becomes the Righteous Man who angel!Dean pulls out of Hell... Bobby puts him in touch with Sam (who he knew before Hell in a "they got stuck together when Jim and John went hunting" type cousiny-way) when he gets bought back and it pretty much follows along the major arc of season 4 from there.

Unfortunately, it is very much "in the works" and I don't post WIPs (don't trust myself to finish them any more) so... it might take a while. :/

lol, I understand!!! WIPs can be a hassle if they're never finished and one's left going "what happens next?!?! Hopefully I'll get to read it when it's done.
