Looking for Jesus

Hi y'all,

I'm putting together a meta post on the Show's treatment of Judeo-Christian figures like God, Lucifer and the angelic choirs. One *ahem* key figure seems to be missing from canon, and I was wondering if anyone knows of a story in which Jesus makes an appearance. Any length, genre or pairing is fine - I'm interested in 'em all. Stories about the Antichrist child from "I Believe the Children Are Our Future" might offer an interesting counterpoint, if you have a link handy, but aren't quite what I'm looking for.

Thanks for your help in researching this topic!

*Um, the chosen tag was my best guess. Also, it is amusing to me.

You do realize that Joshua, the gardner, is supposed to be him, right?

Just curious, how exactly is Joshua supposed to be him? From what I know in canon, Joshua is referred to as the only angel who hears God and takes care of the Garden. And while that is special, how does it exactly make him Jesus Christ, the son?

Thanks for the link! Interesting read.

But I don't know... It seems like a bit of a stretch to infer simply from just the name of the character. I suppose its nice that in fanfic, all possibilities are open when the canon doesn't confirm anything, one way or the other.

Check out Named (http://mclachland.livejournal.com/21656.html) by [livejournal.com profile] mclachland. Christ is present more in the white space that defines his shape, but that space is significant to the story.

well, yeah, JC is rare bird in SPN fandom, from the top of my head:
Sam and Lucifer meet him here - http://trollmela.livejournal.com/16412.html

and Gabriel gets a text message from him in another fic - http://trollmela.livejournal.com/16412.html - so it just mentioned

also I saw somewhere a theory that Chuck is Him, he is not the Father, but the Son, because of the whole "the Word" deal. If it is so, then there are dozens more fic with him around. Also when one starts to think about it... Dean is kinda close to that image too: first born son, mother named Mary, temptation etc...

sorry to spam ur post, there is another story, I don't have link (story wasn't my cup of tea), but maybe someone will recognize what I'm talking about... Basicly everyone is dead and boys go to heaven, I belive it was definatly Dean/Cas, not too sure about Sam. So they are dead and go to Heaven and basiacly everyone is very cool up there, Jesus too. They like party toghether, maybe? I belive it was published before s5e15, because Heaven is not canon-ish.

Late to the party, but you're talking about The Assumption of the Winchesters (Plus Bobby) (http://deancastiel.livejournal.com/1619118.html)--total crack, but worth every minute. XD
