What's Your Favourite?

Hi all,
I've read so many fics that I'm finding it hard to find really great fics that I haven't already read - you know those really amazing ones that make you go "wow"? Can you please rec me your favourite fics in the fandom? Like if someone was to ask you what is your favourite fic, then what one or two fics would you pick over all else?

Anything goes, I'll read the warnings, I'm just hungry for really well-written fics. Thank you!!

This was a really interesting request, and I am looking forward to seeing what kinds of stories people rec.

My top two would have to be:

Jensen Ackles Doesn't Exist (http://xen-fic.livejournal.com/3073.html) by xenodike_fic, J2 I started it as something to read on a Friday night, and I stayed up late into the night because I couldn't bring myself to stop reading until it was finished. I have read it several times since, and it is really amazing. It is really well written, with an interesting plot and great character development.

The Requestl (http://cloudy-fic.livejournal.com/42850.html) by CloudyJenn Dean/Castiel. It was one of the first fanfiction stories I ever read, and I really fell in love with the world that was created. It is a beautifully written story, and one of my go to fics when I am feeling stressed.

I know this goes against the spirit of one or two fics, but I can't help wanting to rec these too:

Park Bench Anthology (http://www.supernaturalwiki.com/index.php?title=Park_Bench_Anthology) It has three volumes of stories, and I am still working on reading through it all, but everything I have read has been amazing. When I am looking for something to read that I know will be good, that is where I turn.

Smoke And Lightning (http://arealwildchild.livejournal.com/) There are four books so far, with tons of art and extras. They read like a novel, and I could see them being published if the names were changed. Amazing work, with an engaging plot and well developed characters.

tersichore is an amazing S1 AU - beautifully written, nice and long plus there are lots of tag-fics and they're a good way into a full-length sequel. (this 'verse is eventual Wincest but it's all build up in the first instalment)

agelade's Season Nine AU over at LustraVerse (http://lustraverse.livejournal.com/) is probably my favourite ever SPN fanfic, if you are a Sam girl it is ultimate heaven but it's also so well written and plotted I fail to see how anybody couldn't enjoy it. There are 5 full length episodes so far (each of which is about 15,000 words I think) but at least three more in various stages of preparation (i.e. more soon). (this one's gen)

Also if you want something smutty (and let's be real sometimes that's in order) then Not Time's Fool (http://archiveofourown.org/works/4720/chapters/5923) by FayJay is a season 4 story which features a genderswapped Dean (he's temporarily cursed and still very Deany) and a SMOULDERING HOT Sammy. This one's finished (although both of my other recs include complete parts, they're just ongoing series). (WINCEST)

That's a REALLY tough choice. Thankfully the other reccers already mentioned some of my favorites, so that made the task a little easier. I'm a Dean girl, so both these are Dean-centric:

Named (http://archiveofourown.org/series/50452) by RC_McLachlan - amazing, vivid storytelling, riveting plot with perfectly in-character Team Free Will and very cool original characters. There are scenes from this fic that I'll never forget.

The 1300 Days (http://archiveofourown.org/works/695225) by stele3 - again, incredible storytelling, great plot with some of the most interesting and original (and loveable, in one case) OCs I've ever seen. Plus lots of hurt!Dean but also competent!Dean and BAMF!Dean.

I've read so many incredible stories I couldn't possibly narrow it down to a couple.
