Not sure if this story even exists, but I'm sure I remember a J2 version of "The Emperor's Wolf"
by J.C. Owens.

Official summary:

I think Jensen is the slave and Jared the ruler, but then again I may just be confusing porn with reality, again;)

If someone could put me out of my misery, one way or the other, I'd be most grateful.

that story seems interesting. Does it have a happy J2 ending? The tags on AO3 make me wary if I want to go ahead and read it.

SPOILER ALERT



* Neither J2 nor Jensen's sister die in the end
* Jensen is not able to recover his position in society, and is still a slave at the end
* Jensen accepts his submissive role with Jared
* Jensen is publicly humiliated before his former people
* It is open-ended in that change may be eventually made through Jared's position
* I didn't particularly care for it but then I'm not crazy about stories that portray either of the J's in a submissive role to the other without equality restored by the end, and a top!jensen girl (with switching inclinations) to boot. So I probably shouldn't have read it in the first place. I guess I was hoping that Jensen would recover some of his former place in society and his dignity.

I think I'll skip it. I'm a romantic sap at heart and unless J2 are happy (and in this case free and equal--not necessarily in the bedroom, top!Jared girl here) I'm not interested. Thanks for the reply.

I would have to second this rec. It's heartache-y, and ofc the kinks/content won't be for everyone, but it's perfect - the characterization (Jensen is so strong in this) and the writing is amazing.
