Specific fic, Sam/Dean, Author!Sam

I've gone back through all the career: authors listings and all the suicide listings, but although I found some good stories to save for later, I didn't find the one I was looking for. This is what I remember: I think Sam and Dean were together, or maybe there was rejection or perhaps infidelity. Sam leaves and lives in a crappy apartment and thinks about jumping off a bridge and meets a man who talks him out of it. Sam writes a book about this horrible time in his life and it's a bestseller and is made into a movie. He and dean get together or get back together and they buy a huge house and it becomes totally a curtain fic, with a surrogate and many children...I think Dean starts writing children's books? Does anyone remember this?
