There is a specific fic I’ve been looking for. Every time I search for it, I end up with Entwined Branches, and that is not the fic I’m looking for(read it and loved it) so I’m hoping I’m not getting the fic details of the one I want mixed up with this one.

I’m pretty sure it is arranged or contract marriage buuut I could be wrong.
It may or may not be a/b/o like EB, can’t remember that detail.
I think Jensen is an author and Jared is an artist.
I *thought* it had to do with a tree that Jared drew, but I think that may be a detail I’m mixing up from Entwined Branches.
I think Jared writes a book with Jensen near the end, or illustrates a book Jensen writes.
I’ve read EB a lot and more times than I’ve read this fic I’m looking for, so I’m worried my brain is filling it in with EB details the more times I read it. I hope this sounds familiar to someone!!

hello all! I'm in search of a fic where Sam started writing books about the winchester's lives, with changed character names etc. I know that the demon blood saga became drug use, and I know Dean didn't (or Sam asked him not to) read the books.

the specific scene I remember is Dean showing up at a book talk Sam was giving at a university, having read the books, and confronted him about the book being somewhat incesty. I also remember Sam's Author Persona not having a brother.

I'm looking for a story I've gotten stuck in my head for a while now, but can't find. In the beginning of the story Jared is temporarily blind (something to do with Chad) and is trying to find someone to read the audio version of his book. Turns out that they are neighbors & Jensen has some hate for Jared over a tree (Jared's boyfriend wanted a better view) and I think that someone was stalking Jensen? I read this fic a while ago and would like to read it again. What I remember is that Jared is a graphic novel writer and Jensen is his new neighbor. If I remember correctly Jensen didn't know at first that Jared was the one to write the books that he was a big fan of. I think misha was in the fic as well. Jensen may have had a dog. I think there might have been a moment were Jensen was on the phone with Jared and he jerked off to Jared reading a passage from one of his books.

Ok, I'm afraid I only have the vaguest recollection of the story, which is why I'd like to read it again.

What I remember:

I read it on LiveJournal. It was complete. Everything from here on out is prefaced with an "I think".

Jensen and JDM are a couple. Jared becomes a part of their life. They do not become a polyamorous threesome and live happily ever after. Jensen falls for Jared and eventually Jensen and JDM end their relationship. Jared was a blue collar type worker, while Jensen and JDM are professionals. After Jensen and JDM break up, Jensen starts/finishes a book that is about all of them and their relationship. He eventually reunites with Jared after giving him a copy of the book/Jared reads it for himself and they are together in the end.

Additional details provided by kaligrrrl: Jared's the mail room guy at Jensen's workplace, which is how they become friends, Jensen has a younger brother who is developmentally disabled (which is a source of tension for JDM/Jensen and but whom Jared adores), Jared leaves town immediately after the threesome to go care for his mother who's dying of cancer, Misha lives in the same apt. building as Jared and they hook up casually.

I've been thinking about for a specific story for the past week, however, I can't remember its name, and I'm hoping that someone here will recognize the story from my admittedly vague recollection of the summary.

I think that Jensen is a teacher at a school and one day he is attacked on or just off of school grounds by a werewolf and turned against his will. I cannot remember if this is a Werewolfs are known verse, but I think not. Jensen is devastated and fearing that he will become a monster and hurt someone he gives up his job/life and goes to live alone in a cabin in the woods. I think that he chains himself up in the basement or in his shed during the full moon and has never let his wolf run free until somehow he meets Jared and he helps him come to terms with his new life. Jensen may, or may not have become a writer to support himself, but I could be mixing up two different stories here.

If anyone out there recognizes this, please but me out of my misery, I want to read this again in the worst way.

I'm looking for a fic I forgot to bookmark. I think it was posted this year. It is a short fic about Jensen who is a writer, works with his friend (I think it was Alona or maybe Katie) on a TV series scenario. They need to relax, so his friend books them a weekend at a ranch (I think) which is owned by Misha. What Jensen does not know is that it is in fact a couples only retreat. Jensen tries to flirt with a gym instructor/bartender Jared who is offended that a married man who should work on his marriage is flirting with him. I think the misunderstanding is cleared out in the end.

I hope someone recognizes the fic. I remember he story quite well but I could not find it anywhere.

I'm in need of your awesome help again. I'm looking for fics:

1.) Crossover fics with Criminal Minds, were Sam and Dean also work for the FBI BAU. I don't want them to criminals, because I've read one where Dean was in jail and funcitoned as some kind of consultant. Rather, they should either be as part of the team, on a seperate team and have done the whole FBI training, or maybe as consultants for occult crimes, sth. like that. 2.) I was grocery shopping yesterday, and this random J2 AU idea popped into my head. Is there anything out there where one of them works at a food store/grocery shop and the other is a regular customer and they start tallking and eventually become friends or more?

I remember most of this story - I think I've read it six times but right now, for the life of me, I can't find it or remember what the heck it was called. This is what I remember:

Jensen is a college freshman(?) and he wants to lose his virginity, so, he goes to a club and meets Jared. The two of them hit it off and go back to Jared's place and hook up. In the morning, Jensen wakes up before Jared and leaves because he's just counting it as a one-night-stand - even though they both really got along.

Before long, Jensen finds out that he's pregnant and goes to find Jared but realizes the club is closed and he wanders around Jared's neighborhood for hours - pregnant, confused and stressed out. Eventually he goes to a coffee shop for orange juice or something and runs into Jared there. Something happens and Jensen starts crying.

Some other parts I remember are:
+Jensen has an asshole dorm-mate.
+Jared is an author/writer
+Jared is $$$ rich.
+Jared has more than one car.
+They move in together.
+Jared goes with Jensen to his parents house and it isn't pretty.

I am looking for a story and I cannot find it anywhere.

It is an au, where Castiel is the author of a popular series of books, they were made into movies, who was having writers block. I think Gabriel ran a sweet shop, he had been in jail and he used to be engaged (maybe to Anna). I remember the books where about a family of angels, and sometime after meeting Sam and Dean he wrote in a character based off Sam to replace an unpopular love interest of Gabriel's.

The pairings were Dean/Castiel and Sam/Gabriel. It also featured many of others with the rest of Castiel's family but I can't really remember them. There was also this things with the couples wearing matching colours and Dean wore blue, which was Castiel's colour to a family gathering. I also think Adam may have been involved as well.

I know it is not the best description, but I can't find this story anywhere, so any help would be appreciated.

Does anyone know of any fics with the following?

1. Dean is the PA. (I've read a gazillion fics about the reverse, but i was hoping for this?)
2. Dean is a model, and Cas is his photographer?

I'm looking for a fic I read on AO3 a while back that I've been wanting to reread and can't find in my bookmarks. I don't really remember the premise, but I think in one scene Cas has written a book that has a Dean-inspired main character (I think) and he's doing a talk show or something with an audience, and he's saying that 'Dean' will never forgive him or something and then Dean stands up in the audience. I'm pretty sure Cas is human and it's post-apocalypse, and that Sam and Dean read the book beforehand, and Bobby's somehow involved... Sorry, that's not much to go on.

Hi, this is my first post here, I'm looking for a fic, is bottom Jared and don't remeber the name of the fic or his author, what I remember is that J2 met at school in the UK and they were rivals, at that time Jensen was dating Danneel although he always was in love with Jared but this latter was oblivious of this situation because Jared only have eyes for Genevieve...however years later they meeting again in a school reunion in the UK and Jensen was the manager of a hotel while Jared was a writer in the U.S. or something like that ... the fact is that at that meeting Jared was hoping to connect with Genevieve but she was celebrating her engagement with another guy, leaving Jared as a loser in love with an impossible, then Jensen makes every effort to put aside his fears and decides to seduce Jared and taking him in a trip to meet part of the UK, and even spend some days in a hostel which his owned, by the way Mike and Tom are also kind of partners in this fic but i'm not sure and I think the author based the fic in the series 'Hotel Babylon', if someone can help me find this fic I would appreciate immensely. :)

Mods: there's no specific tag for reading/writing/discovering fanfic or meta breaking the fourth wall, so I did my best. (first-time poster, hopefully I didn't go overboard or screw up)

I've gone back through all the career: authors listings and all the suicide listings, but although I found some good stories to save for later, I didn't find the one I was looking for. This is what I remember: I think Sam and Dean were together, or maybe there was rejection or perhaps infidelity. Sam leaves and lives in a crappy apartment and thinks about jumping off a bridge and meets a man who talks him out of it. Sam writes a book about this horrible time in his life and it's a bestseller and is made into a movie. He and dean get together or get back together and they buy a huge house and it becomes totally a curtain fic, with a surrogate and many children...I think Dean starts writing children's books? Does anyone remember this?

Castiel is (I think) a writer who has hired a beach house from John. Dean hangs out on the beach and shows up to check things are okay at the house (and check out Castiel). Another one I thought I had... It not clear which brother has which role until the very end and I've forgotten which was which. #1 is owner/bartender of bar or roadhouse and one of his customers or waitresses tells him of a picture she saw of him when he was younger and hadn't gotten the severe facial scars from a hunt. She'd been at the house of a writer who acted as an information hub for the hunters and had written some books. #1 tracks down the writer and meets his daughter. #2 sends the girl away and grabs for the holy water and the guns when he sees his guest. Turns out that, after a falling out where each waited for the other to come back and apologize, they both thought the other dead. (I think in one case it was a shifter that died and in the other the Impala was stolen and crashed and burned the driver beyond recognition.)

Hi - I thought I bookmarked this, but obviously I didn't.

It was posted sometime in 2011, and it was a claiming/mates sort of fic where EVERYONE had, somewhere, a mate. Jensen was a writer that was unmated and he was old enough that he was declared, or was about to be declared, "Widowed but Unmated" - meaning he hadn't found his mate, so his mate was presumed to be dead.

Jared was a college student and a big fan of Jensen's. He and his usual crowd of friends (Chad, Sandy, etc) were in line at a booksigning for Jensen's latest book when their eyes meet and they recognize each other as mates. Semi-public sex ensues.

He could be self-conscious about anything, but I'd be really happy if he was self-conscious about his looks and/or artistic talents. And by artistic talents I mean it'd be awesome if he was a musician, artist, and/or writer but doesn't feel like he's any good at it and is constantly worried about what people think of him. So I'm looking for a fic that I read and forgot to bookmark. It was a period piece that had Jared/Jensen and in it Jensen had a chronic illness so he had to walk around with a cane. Jared lived secluded out in the woods. I remember Jensen was an author but he used an alias. Tom was also part of the story; he was a soldier that came home severely ill and Jensen helped to take care of him.  Found: After the Frost by pinkisgoth.

As for my general search, right now I'm in the mood for any recs that involve Dean or Jensen fainting/collapsing. It can be due to any reason (illness, seizures, excessive use of any power, exhaustion just to name a few) and bonus points if it's a common occurrence. im looking for a j2 fic where jensen is a writer of some kind. he got into writing because his journalism teacher slept with him while he was in high school and then broke up with him. it caused tension between jensen and his family when he went into writing. sorry about the vagueness of it. any help would be great

I think it might be a big bang but I'm not positive. Sam becomes a famous author and writes about their adventures through fiction. One of the names he uses is Sean who Dean thinks is himself because they are so close in spelling when the main character is actually Sam. They live together and rent a house. Dean is planning on taking cooking classes (dessert I'm think) and there are a few ladies in their neighborhood that have a book club. They are going to read Sam's book next. A reporter calls the house and asks for an interview. Part way through Dean gets pissed and hangs up.

I am looking for a specific story, that is based somewhat on the show Diary of Call Girl. I believe Sam had an lj account or something similar and was chronicling all his encounters, everytime Dean and him went on a job. Also, I believe Dean ends up finding the site and starts reading it, but doesn't know it is Sam. I think later he finds out it is Sam and he starts possibly getting jealous of the encounters?

So I think I read a J2 story a long time ago that was based on the anime Gravitation.  Jensen was in the role of Yuki I'm pretty sure.  I just remember the scene where Jensen reads Jared's lyrics and insults them or something. Sorry for such a terrible description!

So, I had this fic on my E-Reader, but somehow, I hit the wrong button and deleted it and now I can't find it again.

In the fic, Jared is a huge movie star, Oscar winner, if my memory serves, and Jensen is a writer. Jared is an out and proud bisexual and he has his own reality dating show. Jensen is blackmailed by Chris into taking part because he catches Jensen fantasizing over Jared, and becomes one of the contestants vying for Jared's affections. Mike, Tom, Misha, Justin, Danneel and Sandy are contestants, too, as well as some OC's, people like Lita, Ben and Katrina. Jeff is the producer of the show, and Chad is Jared's best friend/assistant. One of the challenges the contestants had to go through was a volley ball game, but that was as far as I got before it was deleted.

Any help would be awesome.

I've looked everywhere (delicious, j2_recs, themed J2 list, etc) and I cannot find this fic. I'm pretty sure it's going to be embarrassing as soon as one of you identifies it. The only thing that really stands out in my head is that one of the boys is a writer of erotica, and the other is turned on to the books by Misha who keeps recommending them at the library. I can't remember which was Jared and which was Jensen, I just remember him being embarrassed by how much he enjoys the books, and how smug Misha is about it.
