I was reading and a random fic popped into my head that I haven't read for a seriously long time, I don't even know where to start looking for it, it is that old, I am hoping that someone here knows the fic I'm talking about.

What I remember:
Jared is headed to college and he and a group of friends decide to go somewhere for spring break, they end up somewhere where there is a beach and they meet Chris, Jensen, Steve, possibly Danneel? Jensen is messed up and has an obsession with the water due to his brother drowning when he was younger. There is romance between the J's as well as a few other people. This is a long story and I believe that there is a sequel to it too.
That is all I remember, please help me find it?

I read a fic during July of 2015 (when it was posted) where Sam is at Stanford and he starts doing gay porn to pay for tuition. He is ace but it feels good and he has crazy endurance, so he keeps doing it, making more and more money doing riskier and riskier shit--there's one specific scene I remember where he's doing a BDSM dungeon porn scene where several dom guys have their way with him. Between shots he does homework/studies in the corner.

When I read it, it was a WIP and the most recent chapter had Dean involved in some way--probably Dean visiting Sam at Stanford?

I'm looking for a fic where Jared and Jensen are college roommates. As far as I remember there are a few other guys living with them. Jensen doesn't really like Jared but then Jared finds himself a boyfriend. I remember a scene where said boyfriend tries to have sex with him or something and Jared pushes him away. Afterwards Jensen becomes all protective of Jared.
I thought it was It Ain't Easy by whispered_story or Maybe This Time by BewareTheIdes15, but even though the summary fits, there's no other boyfriend or anything.

Jared and Jensen are high school sweethearts growing up in a small town that they hate. Their dream is to get out of there, and Jensen gets a scholarship to an amazing college, but just before HS graduation, Jared discovers he's pregnant. He doesn't want to ruin Jensen's life, so instead of telling him about the baby, Jared dumps him in a very cruel manner and Jensen leaves for college with a broken heart.

A few years pass and Jensen comes home for a visit. He's a very different person now, bitter and cynical, and his plan is to rub his success in Jared's face, but he's shocked to find that Jared has a toddler and is still living with his mom and abusive stepdad in their sad, run down house. Jensen dumps his current boyfriend and offers to marry Jared, but it's more of a business arrangement; if they're married, they'll be allowed to live in the special dorms for married students at Jensen's college, and Jared will be able to get out of his stepfather's house. But Jensen is still angry that Jared lied about the baby, and it takes him a long time to forgive Jared.

Guys, I’m looking for a story that I read a while ago and hope someone here recognises it from what I remember of it.

Sam is in college and he believes Dean died about 8 years previously. He overhears John and Bobby arguing and discovers that Dean has been institutionalised, I think in a place called something like, The Kansas Home for Wayward Carriers.

Dean has been abused at the home in the past, however, it is now a good place. Sam takes Dean to live with him in a house he shares with his college friends. Dean stutters/is an elective mute and walks with a shuffle and takes pills for anxiety.

It becomes a Dean/Castiel fic, and Sam dates Lucifer who is his boss at the restaurant where he works.Sam is also a carrier.

Hopefully someone will recognise this fic, I would really like to read it again.

I'm looking for 2 rather old J2 College Fics.

1. Jared is trying to escape some notoriety as having been kidnapped as a child which had been splashed all over the news. So he goes to a college far from home and tries to be inconspicuous and normal. Though he does see a therapist (JDM, if I recall). I can't remember if he somehow ends up roommates with Jensen or Tom or Mike, but I know Mike takes him under his wing. At some point Jensen remembers Jared's kidnapping. I can't recall anything else.

2. Jensen has just taken a teaching position at a Florida University to be closer to Steve who has inherited his uncle's bar. He meets Jared there and asks him out only to find out he's a paid "escort". Against his better judgment he makes and appointment, etc. Afterwards, when school starts it turns out that Jared is taking his class and can't change to another professor because Jensen's the only one teaching it or something. There's a weird period where Jensen keeps making appointments with Jared (again against his better judgement) but it turns into a kind of relationship though Jared doesn't give up his "night" job because he has to pay for school.

I'm searching for a specific story. In it, I think Jared is a college freshman and because of housing constraints on campus, he is roomed with a group of upperclassmen. I think they have a pod-type room situation, where there are four or five rooms branching off a main living area. The other roommates are maybe Mike and Tom? And Jensen of course. And Jensen possibly doesn't like Jared/ is cold to him for some reason? Not sure on that one. The one thing I remember for certain is that Jensen has his eyebrow pierced.

I am looking for a specific story.  When Sam runs away to college he meets an old woman on the bus who accidentally erases his memory.  She pretends he is part of her family and he goes to Stanford.  Dean comes around to check up on him and realizes he has no memories of Dean or their life.  Dean crashes with him and they hang out at the college bar while Dean continues hunting and tries to figure out how Sam lost his memories.  I am pretty sure it was wincest but not 100%.

It has Jess's pov and was about Dean connecting with Jess in secret while Sam in Stanford.
It has tons of brotherly moment seen through Jess pov, Sam didn't know Jess know Dean, and Jess often call Dean to ask help about Sam and herself. eventually Jess was like a secret little sister to Dean. Dean send both her and Sam gifts, etc
This story ends the same as canon (Jess died) but last year the author wrote another version which has Jess alive.

I wanted to read this again, so when I found that her journal (originally in ff.net) was empty/deleted, I'm really sad.
She also had a story called "Box of Memories" -- this one about Sam and Dean finding some stuff in their father's storage (also a really nice story)

Im lookjng for a J2 fic that is quite an old one. I only actually remember a small snippet but Im hoping one of you beautiful minded people will remember. I've been trawling through the tags on here, but no luck so far.

Jensen is famous and Jared is at college. All I remember is Jensen being given a tour of the campus as research for a role. He's incognito, with a ball cap and sunglasses, and standing at the top of a flight of steps. He looks down and see Jared. They haven't seen each other for a while, and Jensen is excited to see him and calls out his name. I think he runs down the steps to Jared and hugs him. Please say someone remembers this. Its been driving me mad!!

The story is told from Jared's POV. I think he's 13. Jensen is Jared's older brother Jeff's best friend and they go to college together. Jensen visits the Padaleckis and Jared has a crush on him. I remember a sort of first time scene between the Js that happened after some party, I think it was New Year's Eve. Also, although it may be my mind trying to trick me, I think Jensen visits them several times, and their relationship evolves.
I remember Jared being very outgoing and having a connection with Jensen, and Jensen liking spending time with Jared even though Jared was only 13.
I'd say it had over 13k words?

The part I remember the most is that Jared and his friends liked to play street hockey and at one point Jared got hurt and had to go to the hospital and Jensen took him. I believe Jensen was popular and hung out in a different crowd then Jared did. If I remembered correctly sandy or maybe Sophia had a crush on Jensen and they started dating. However Jared secretly liked Jensen too. I vaguely remember Jared and his friends hanging out at a local diner in many parts of the story. Jensen eventually starting hanging out with them there too. By the end of the fic Jensen and Jared got together.

I seem to have lost/forgotten where I read this fic. Jensen was in college and went to a party with Danneel, the college had some kinda taxi service that they called to get back and Jared was the driver. Jared misunderstood the relationship between them and laid into Jensen for her being drunk. I think there was a panic attack in there somewhere? Also Jared may have been famous? I'd love to read this again if anyone knows where I can find it.

It talks about how J&J are best friends and living together with Aldis I think and Jared gets up early every Sunday to make chili and sometimes Jensen makes the corn bread and then they eat while watching football. I know that there is a sequel or a least a later chapter in which they are together and Jensen is making blueberry compote.

Here's what I remember:

Jensen is a senior? and for some reason, freshman Jared is assigned to the same dorm suite. I'm pretty sure Misha and Mike Rosenbaum live there too.

Basically, Jensen is an asshole to Jared until they both get so pissed at each other that they hook up.

Danneel, Jensen, and Jared all work at the same coffee shop/bookstore.

It's not the one with the muffin art titled "It isn't easy (but it's worth it.)

Pretty sure that at one Jared tries to hit on Misha and gets shot down.

At the end of the fic, the Js declare their feelings in a screaming match (possibly during a rainstorm?) and Mike keeps count of how many times a variation of the word "fuck" is used.

Hey guys! I read a fic a while back and I can't seem to find it. I can't remember the title or author, but I know I read it on AO3.
It was a J2 and they were both college students. Jared worked a part-time in a coffe shop, where I think he met Jensen.
Sometimes Jared missed work because he had a disease (can't remember the name) that made him feel really sick for a couple of days, once in a while - it was a disease that didn't have gave him any dignity, like he said.
He hid his disease from Jensen, and near the end he told him he had it showing a documentary on tv about it.


That's all I remember. The author wrote it to raise awareness for this disease, beacuse many people don't know about it.

I really loved it, so I hope someone can find it :)

Are there any stories where Sam says no when Dean asks him to help him find their father. Au and finished hopefully. Looking for something similar to a Long and Lonesome Highway by Sorka but not a necessity. I've also read Reputation based off of Sorka's story.
Also I would prefer if Castiel is a part of the story but not necessary.
No preference in paring as long as the OMC/OFC is well written.

So literally years ago I read a fic wherein Jensen and Jared spend (I think) a summer together at some kind of sport camp? If I remember correctly Jensen played lacrosse and Jared played soccer. They become friends and I think more if I remember correctly.
Also, Jared only wanted to be called JT and no one at the camp knew him as Jared.

At the end of the summer (?) one of them gives the other their number on a piece of paper and they lose it and it's a sad time.
Then they end up at the same college or something and reconnect and then proper relationship.

Alright, so it has been years since I have posted to spnstoryfinders. I've kept up with the show but tend to only focus on one to two fandoms fic-wise at a time. Writing in the Queer as Folk fandom pulled me away from my other ones for a while but now I am back and ready to read some great stories in this fandom that I may have missed in the past few years. Not a huge fan of Wincest, Sabriel, Samifer (unless it is dubcon or noncon) or complete AU (but am completely fine with canon divergance.) So, if possible, I would rather not have those pairings in the non-AU stories you share.

1. Dean/OMC: Are there any fics where Dean runs into a guy he had a fling with years before? Maybe it was a secret relationship he had in high school or while Sam was away at Stanford. Dean and the OMC could pick things up again or maybe they just catch up and Dean is happy that the OMC has a decent life. It would be great if Sam found out about it but it's not absolutely necessary. Destiel, Dean/OMC, or gen are all okay for this. It can take place any season, but it would be awesome if it took place in season 10, 11, or even after. For some reason I am really craving to read this but if none of you lovely people can find it, I'll just write it instead ;)

2. Dean/Castiel: If you all could rec your favorite Dean/Castiel fics written from 2012 to 2016, that would be awesome! I do love angst, but I also love humor and crack just as much. Of course, I will also take recs to earlier Destiel stories.

3. Awesome!Sam: I would love to read stories about Sam not only supporting Dean (either coming out as bi or his relationship with Cas or an OMC) but also have a storyline of his own, whether it be dramatic, romantic, or otherwise. In other words, I want him to be rooting for his brother's happiness but I want the story to also take Sam's own life into account and for it to cover what he's going through, making him a major and complex character throughout the story.

4. Wedding!Fic: As long as it is not Wincest or Daddycest, this can be any pairing. I am looking for humorous, non-AU wedding fics. Destiel would be lovely but Dean/Lisa, Dean/OMC, Dean/OFC, Dean/Benny, Sam/Jess, Sam/Amelia, Sam/OFC, Sam/OMC, Charlie/Dorothy, Charlie/OFC, John/Mary, and Bobby/Ellen would all be great options as well.

5. Depression: Can you all rec stories where Sam, Dean, or Cas are going through severe depression and stay relatively in character throughout it all? Of course, depression can completely distort your normal reactions to day to day life, but I would like them to be recognizable while the other characters grow more and more concerned over something being very wrong.

6. Long shot but...: Are there any stories where Dean is worried how his close friends and family will react to him being bisexual and they literally do not even care because the apocolypse is going on or the mark of Cain made him butcher people and they still love him despite that and that's a lot more concerning than him messing around with dudes. In other words, there are bigger concerns than who Dean sleeps with and now is not the time to fret over something rather trivial in comparison to people dropping like flies.

7. Sam finds out Dean was enrolled or is currently enrolled in college classes: Maybe Dean took them while he was with Lisa or maybe he's taking them online. Sam could find a document containing Dean's research paper, essay, creative writing project, whatever. Or maybe he answers Dean's cellphone and it is Dean's advisor checking in on how he's doing and if he would consider enrolling for the new semester since the advisor sees a lot of potential in him. Either way, I just would like to see Sam finding out and being proud of him, all while asking questions while Dean feels a little embarrassed about taking classes in his mid to late 30s.

8. Queer as Folk crossover: Since I have written over 20 stories in the Queer as Folk fandom and love the characters ridiculously so, can you all come up with some stories where the boys cross paths with the Liberty Avenue gang? Maybe they are on a case in Pittsburgh and it is directly affecting the characters in QAF? Maybe Brian tries to seduce Dean (and succeeds because I am sure the straightest of men would let themselves be fucked by Brian Kinney) or Emmett takes Cas shopping for more fabulous clothes or Sam gets into passionate discussions with Mel, who is a lawyer. In other words, I would like to see these characters meet and actually get along.

I had an unfortunate incident with my bookmarks causing me to lose a bunch. I'm in the process of trying to recreate them so I'm looking for two specific J2 college fics that I can't remember the names of. I hope they sound familiar to someone.

The thing I remember most clearly about the first one is that it took place at UC Santa Cruz. There was a lot of information added into the story about the campus and local area.

In the second one, Jared is painfully shy and Jensen is a campus DJ. Jared listens to Jensen's show religiously, and eventually works up the courage to call him. They have a phone relationship for a while until Jared ultimately agrees to meet in person. It's a really sweet one that I'm upset I lost.

Third, as a general request: I'd love any college fics that involve the boys texting or emailing and trading pictures before they meet.

Now I'm looking for another fic that consists teacher/student relationship. I know that there is a lot of them out there but I want to read something that is well written, has cool, interesting characters and is memorable. This is my first time posting and I hope I do it all right.

I've been looking for a J2 fic where they're in college (I think..). I remember them becoming roommates, Chad and Danneel living next door to them and having a baby. I recall Danneel punching Chad in the face while giving birth saying 'You did this to me'. I also know that Jensen and Jared wanted to have a baby and that Danneel offered to surrogate for them and ended up being pregnant with twins. I'm pretty sure she gives birth to a boy and a girl, the boy beings Jareds and the girl Jensens'.

J2 also have a fight about Jensen drinking with his ex and kissing him, but not too sure. Also remember one of them working in a coffee shop where Sandy is also working.

The fic I'm looking for is in the fic Jensen and Misha are housemates. And Misha likes to have loud sex with his girlfriend, and it really annoys Jensen.

One day, Jensen invites Jared (who he has a crush on) to study at his house, and they overheard Misha in the next room. When Jensen mention that Misha doesn't care that people heard him, and won't stop even though Jensen had asked him to, Jared suggests retaliation by having loud sex themselves.
