I cannot locate a specific story.  This one has Dean, John, Sam and Caleb in it.  I can remember that Sam thinks they are hunting tree spirits but John disagrees.  Sam equips Dean to fight them but Sam and Caleb get hurt.  It may have not been complete that is why I cannot find it.  Any help is appreciated.

Hi! Looking for a fairly long (and pretty old, I think) fic that is about Sam and Dean's domestic life after Sam gets a serious injury during a hunt. Dean thinks Sam isn't going to survive and when he does Dean says they're done with hunting for good. It's a slow burn and builds to Sam/Dean as they adjust to their new life. I remember a few random details:

— I think it starts with a line that goes something like "Dean almost ran 3 stop signs on his way to the hospital the day Sam woke up."

— Dean rents a small apartment nearby and has to help Sam get upstairs when he is discharged from the hospital. I think Sam has a bad leg injury or something.

— Dean works on a construction crew and gets a blood blister on his thumb at one point, and he drills a hole in his thumbnail at home and Sam is grossed out.

— Dean goes on a few dates with a woman who works at the grocery store (who maybe has a child?) but keeps thinking about Sam on the dates.

— Sam might work at the library — this detail I'm not sure about (might be from a different story).

Any help is greatly appreciated! I remember loving this fic but can't find any trace of it on Google.

I can't find where I had this saved, but I remember this fic very specifically. - Sam and Dean are kidnapped/captured and wake up in an underground bunker-like room with one bed, a toilet, sink, limited canned fruit rations and no way out.

I started reading a story about Hurt Sam a while ago and now I can't find it.  The story was about Tree Spirits.  Sam and John argued.  Sam gave Dean the tools necessary to kill the spirits.  Sam and Caleb both got hurt.  Please help.  I have looked everywhere.

Hi, I read the summary of this fic while browsing through fic recs, found it interesting, and thought I saved it, but apparently, I didn't, and now I can't find it anywhere.It was a post-hell fic set in S6 or S7. Sam got out of hell but is psychologically damaged, Dean does his best to look after his brother, and Sam brought a hellhound from hell that protects him. Anyone?

I'm looking for a specific fanfiction that follows Sam going to hell, and he becomes partially mute; the only word he knows/uses is "Dean." It's most likely Wincest,  but it could be Gen as well. Hope that rings a bell or two. Thanks!

I read this several years ago on ao3. Started with John, Dean, Sam driving to Bobby's, I think. Sam was 16 or 17? Sam gets kidnapped by demons or humans who work with demons, and he gets tortured (maybe shocked, water was involved,...). Dean and Sam are intimate, Bobby is gay or at least bi. Some guy (Rufus?) gives Sam and Dean knives that they bind to each other. They spend awhile hiding at a hotel cause the owner was tortured by...something evil, so she has lotsa protections up to keep demons 'n things out. When they face Azazel, he reveals their intimacy to John, who loses it, and Azazel tries to like control Sam, but Sam has been cleansed of the demon blood through his relationship with Dean, so Azazel dies and John works to understand Sam and Dean's relationship.

That's about how far I read, I think, and I really want to read it again. If more detail would be helpful, I can definitely go into more detail. I feel like the name is on the tip of my tongue but I can't remember it.

Hi! I'm looking for a fic where a stranger runs into Sam on the street, I think he is concussed and is having trouble remembering what he's doing and its very cold outside- I think he's mildly hypothermic? The stranger helps Sam find Dean by going into the sewers, and they find Sam's walkie talkie. The stranger talks to Dean and he sounds strained and Dean directs them to where he is. They find Dean in a collapsed part of the tunnel buried under a bunch of rubble surrounded by a salt circle and ghosts, and then when they try to get him out they find that he's been impaled on some rebar and has lost a lot of blood. Also Sam's jacket is under Dean's head as a pillow which is why Sam was freezing. 

I think I originally read this fic on fanfiction.net, but I'm not sure.

I need help finding a story I read about John abusing Sam on the anniversary of Mary's death.  He mistakenly leaves Sam handcuffed in the bathroom so Dean finds out.  John tries to convince Dean that it wasn't him.  I know Caleb was involved but I cannot remember to much else.  Any help will be appreciated.

It's an older fic.  Sam is hurt by a group of boys at his school.  I remember some trouble with the local law enforcement department (I believe one of the boys involved is related to the sheriff).  It's discovered later that the boys made a video during the attack on Sam.  Cue angry Dean/John.   I know it's not much to go on, but hopefully it will ring a bell with someone.  Thank you.

Hey so I have a general and a specific search if anyone can help. 

1)Sam was struggling with outbursts and nightmares and along all that he was beginning some serious OCD tendencies. That's all I really remember but was a real good.

2) While I was reading this I was wondering if there was any other stories similar or with the ae kind of struggling Sam. For example, Sam with OCD, Tourette's or just generally unstable with John, Dean and the other hunters looking after him and keeping him safe.

Hey just a search for any traumatized, struggling emotionally Sammy. 

I prefer Teen Sam but I will take any as long as Dean is by himself and helping him overcome the issues. I would love it if the other hunters are with them as well like Celeb, Bobby, John ad pastor Jim. 

I don't mind if its abused Sam, Hurt or just struggling in general.

I've been dying to re read this one, but my Google skills fail me.

It was a hurt!Sam fic set mid series, maybe season 6, 7, or 8? Sam was driving to get dean something or whatever andhe pulled up at a stop light. He sees behind him a bus of kids is stuck directly on railroad tracks, the barriers somehow malfunctioned and the train was coming, so sam made a calculated decision to run the red light, into a dangerous intersection, so that the bus could pull up, thus saving the kids.
Pretty sure there were like low self esteem / suicidal!sam aspects too.

Also any similar hurt!Sam suicidal/low self esteem car crash fics would be soooooo appreciated :)

I'm looking for a specific hurt Sam fic.  The part I can remember is that Sam and Dean fall out over something and Sam is very upset and leaves —  He's walking along the road, snow is falling heavily and he's not in the best frame of mind.  A speeding car knocks Sam down but doesn't stop and leaves Sam injured at the side of the road — he's kind of hidden because of the snow. Dean eventually starts to get worried and goes looking.  He finds Sam but he's badly hurt and needs hospital.  I just can't remember the name of this fic or the writer but if it rings a bell with anyone, I'd appreciate the help!

I'm pretty sure that the story I am looking for was on fanfiction.net.

Sam and Dean are at a motel and Dean tells Sam to go out and get something to eat bc it's his turn. Sam complains because the weather is awful and it's raining. 

After a while he goes nevertheless but the diner he wanted to go to is closed so he makes his way to the grocery store instead. He parks the Impala on the side of the road in front of it.

Due to the heavy rain a truck loses control and crashes into the Impala. Sam tries to get to the car in time to move it out of the way but he ends up getting hurt by doing so.

When Sam gets back home he doesn't tell Dean that he's injured.

Dean goes to the store himself where a member of the staff tells him about the accident that happened and that she is surprised that the injured man didn't even want to go to the hospital.

Dean immediately returns to the motel, where he confronts Sam. 

If my memory is right he kind of storms into the room yelling "Sam, you're a lying bastard!" or sth like that.

I think the story ends with Sam in hospital since his injury is more severe than he thought.

...I really hope someone can help me it's driving me crazy that I can't find it! :)
