So Ive been searching for awhile now a fanfiction where Jessica makes a call to Dean because Sam's sick, and I think that's the first time they meet (there is a really sweet moment when Dean realize Sam is wearing on of his shirt, and Jess tells him he always wear it while sick or sad...).
After that she put his contact on her phone under a different name and makes regular calls to him. If I remember correctly he helps her when money become tight and his generally a great help for her and Sam.
I ve foud similar stories but this one I never ve been able to read again.
So im searching for this story soecifically, bit if you have some propositions similar to thid one I'll be really happy to read them !

I'm looking for a specific story where Dean and Cas have been a couple for several years, and at a family dinner Dean announces they are getting married, only to realize that everyone thought he and Cas were only roommates. Sam reacts the worst, I think. Also, Sam is engaged to Jess, who is pregnant, but later cheats on her with Ruby. I just remember that Jess moved in with Dean/Cas, and was suffering from severe morning sickness. Sorry, I know it's not much to go on.

Hi everyone! I have two requests that are related.

1. I'm searching for a specific fic I read on livejournal and there's really no way for me to explain it without giving away spoilers....
It was a short one-shot that was a twist on episode one. It was set with Jess and Sam at Stanford and Sam was up at night waiting for something while Jess was trying to convince him to let it go. As the story progresses there's little changes to canon so the reader gets the feeling something's up, for example Jess' shirt was an Obama shirt. It turns out Sam was waiting for Dean's ghost because years before when Dean asked Sam to help him find John he said no and he died. In the end Sam couldn't let Dean's ghost go and, if I remember correctly, Jess said she couldn't take it anymore. If anyone could find this I would be so grateful!

2. I would love recommendations along that line. Stories where Dean goes to ask Sam for help but he says no which results in some type of angst. It could be one where Dean winds up hurt or him and Sam just lose touch for years, I have no preference.

It has Jess's pov and was about Dean connecting with Jess in secret while Sam in Stanford.
It has tons of brotherly moment seen through Jess pov, Sam didn't know Jess know Dean, and Jess often call Dean to ask help about Sam and herself. eventually Jess was like a secret little sister to Dean. Dean send both her and Sam gifts, etc
This story ends the same as canon (Jess died) but last year the author wrote another version which has Jess alive.

I wanted to read this again, so when I found that her journal (originally in ff.net) was empty/deleted, I'm really sad.
She also had a story called "Box of Memories" -- this one about Sam and Dean finding some stuff in their father's storage (also a really nice story)

I wonder of the author moved her account somewhere else? Or did anyone has any of her fic saved?

2. Please rec me some fic where Dean is the main caretaker of Sam.
If he has custody of Sam, that would be better. It could be AU (non-hunting, spaceship, whatever :D I like every premise)

I read this AU Destiel fic a long time ago where Dean is depressed and sometimes it gets very bad. Sam is with Jess and they try to help him. Then he meets Cas and they get together. But Dean has an episode of extreme depression and ends up killing himself, thinking Cas would be better off not having to deal with him. I think he jumps out window in front of Cas? Cas then later also kills himself.

Yeah, very tragic ending. But if anyone can help me find it that would be great!

Hey all, I am losing my mind trying to find this fic for a friend. It's an older AU, Stanford era. Dean has a brain injury from several years ago and when Sam went to college, Dean went with him, he has the mind of about a 12 year old. They have an apartment and Sam helps Dean find a part time job with Bobby cleaning and helping at the garage. Dean also helps Bobby restore an older car, which he is very proud of. Jess takes her car to the garage to get fixed and talks to Dean and Dean goes home to tell Sam that he should date the pretty blonde girl that came in that day. Of course, there are LOTS of pretty blonde girls at Stanford. Eventually, Sam meets Jess on his own and they start dating, which makes Dean very happy since he has decided that it was because of him.

I'm looking for stories featuring protective!Jess and/or BAMF!Jess, in which Dean and Jess bond over protecting Sam.

There are plenty of Stanford-era stories where Sam lands in the hospital and Jessica calls Dean, but that's not really what I'm looking for here. I want any stories where Jess is more active - learning more about hunting to do something about demons, verbally dismantling someone for messing with Sam, surprising the bad guys with karate moves, something like that. Something that wins Dean's grudging acceptance of Jess as at least a backup protector of Sam.

The closest example I can think of is the person Jessica had become at the end of The Crow on the Cradle

I read this fic AGES ago.

it had dean and gabriel in a djinn-like world, i'm not sure if it was really a djinn, and they were living a domestic-type life, like in the djinn-episode. Im pretty sure sam was in it, and that jess and mary were alive. dean and gabriel were dating, and as far as i know, dean did not know that it wasnt real, but gabriel did. he fell in love but dreaded the day dean would find out that it wasnt real.

i dont remember much else, but i'll add more if i can think of anything.

Hey, I'm looking for an author that had many SPN fics.

I remember that one fic of hers dealt with Brady talking to Jessica before her death and another fic dealt with the little kid from the third episode of the first season, Lucas, I think, drawing the Impala and his mom thinking that the Impala was flying and Lucas knowing that it,Sam, and Dean were falling. Sorry that I can't be more specific.

This is an old specific story I'm looking for.  It starts right where the series starts, just before Jess's death.  Sam passes through his own doorway on which somebody carved a cursed sigil, and he basically loses his mind.  The story is written in a very distinct stream-of-consciousness style from a third person Sam perspective, and I believe this moment is described as "the whole world took a step to the left."

Jess dies the same way she did in the series, and Dean shows up after Sam calls him incoherently from the kitchen floor.  Dean tells him to stay put, because he was already almost there.  The rest of the story is basically an insane Sam-styled warped perspective on the beginning of the series.  Dean is looking for their father, but his search has been completely disrupted because Sam is incoherent.  He can speak, but the things he says are often uninterpretable without any perspective on the things he's hallucinating.  Sam frequently begins screaming for reasons completely incomprehensible to Dean.  Once at a gas station he starts screaming because he is afraid he will fall into the sky.  He keeps seeing a man in a trenchcoat following them.  The television looks like an eye watching him.

I think the story is in 5 parts or so.  I read it on livejournal, and the author had a blue background.  Sadly, that is all I can remember, and keyword searches have gotten me nowhere.  The story is gen, no pairings.  It's implied that the man in the coat is Castiel, but this is never said outright, and I think Bobby shows up at one point, but other than that it's just Dean and Sam.  The style is the most distictive feature.  It read almost like poetry-prose.  And it would be at least 4 years old, probably more.  If anyone can help me find this, I would be so grateful.  It was an amazing story, and I'd love to read it again!

The story as I remember is Dean and Sam had a sexual encounter when Sam was a teenager. Miscommunication: Dean thinks he molested Sam, Sam thinks he forced Dean. Sam goes to college, Dean refuses all contact. Jess finds painting Sam did of Dean, can tell Sam in love with Dean. Dean's hurt by a black dog and calls Sam but Dean makes him hang up the phone. Sam ends up in psych ward (accidentally?) and tells doctor he's in love with his older brother. Dean gets message that Sam tried to kill himself. Gets to hospital but Sam already checked out. Sees Sam's chart where doc says Sam was molested by his brother. Therapy sessions for Sam, Dean calls, talks to Sam's doc. Ultimately they get back together. Very angsty, lots of guilt. Amazing story but I can't find it! It's a few years old - maybe written in 2011 or 2010?

Random urge that just grabbed me.

Can anyone recommend a fic where Sam wasn't pulled back in during season 1? Where he stayed out with Jess and told Dean to shove it, completely turning his back on him. Then, for whatever reason, he needs Dean later for help. Preferably something supernatural but I'll take anything. That he then needs to take his family and find his brother and beg him for help.

Would really love if Cas is there with Dean (together or gen).

Have Sam slowly realize all that's happened and all.

So I'm hoping that when I get home from work at 11pm I have something to sit down, relax read after standing for many hours straight. I've notice how selfish Sam and John are is sometimes and how people seem to blame everything on Dean. So I really want to read 3 types of fic all revolving Dean.

1. The angels (any of them are overprotective of Dean and dislike Sam for some reason. If Lucifer like Dean better than Sam or Lucifer and Michael are fighting over Dean you'd make my day.

2. Dean leaves Sam and/or John and doesn't come back. If John and/or Sam have to look for Dean and find that he's happy and better of without him. If Dean is a genius/smart it's a pluss

3. People (meaning Bobby, Adam, Castiel, Jessica Moore etc.) calling John and/or Sam on their treatment of Dean. I would be jumping up and down if it's Missouri (or Becky) that does it because in the show she favors Sam a lot.

4. I really want to read some fic where Jessica and Dean get along really well. It's can turn into romance but just friendship is awesome with me. If Jess gets angry at John and/or Sam on behalf of Dean then I'll be very happy.

I am looking for a fic I swear was on ff.net, but  I can't find it. It's old though. Set during the stanford era, Sam is kidnapped (I think from his appartment) by the YED. Jess get's a hold of Dean and John, who come looking for Sam. Eventually Sam is found in the basement of a Campus res. Jess at some point gets kidnapped and used to torture Sam.

I think the end result was that Jess learnt about the supernatural world, and she stuck with sam.

Has anyone hard of a story like this before?

I'm looking for a kind of fic I've never actually read before. I've read fic where Jess lives or au's where she's with Sam. In them she's always nice, understanding, and pretty much perfect. Now I'm looking for one where she is actually a bitch, or two faced, or stuck up. Something so she isn't perfect. I prefer Dean centric fics if possible. Thanks for any recs.

I'm looking for a one where Dean gets caught by a bomb while overseas in the army(?) and loses part of his arm.  The story starts when Sam get a call telling him that Dean's been hurt and is being sent to a hospital in Germany.  Sam and Jess step up and get married so her parents witll assist in their traveling expenses.  When Sam and Jess aren't in Dean's hospital room, a guy he thinks is a nurse named Cass watches out for him.  A possessed friend of Sam's gets to Dean's room and infects his arm, causing him to finally lose it.  John finally catches up with his sons when they're living in a apartment thogether with Jess.  Jess invites Cas to his first Thanksgiving feast.

Right, im looking for a one-shot... I think.
Basically, it was about Dean coming back from the army and he was visiting Stanford - most likely to see Sam.
And there was this group who were anti-military and were giving Dean abuse. Saying things about how hes a murderer and stuff like that.
Then some girl - i think it was Jess but im not sure - defended him and thanked him for his service.

2. Are there any girl!Sam stories with her not related to Dean?  Just curious!  Also, anything with girl!Sam being protected from humans by Dean?  Or just protective!Dean with girl!Sam in general?

3. Are there any stories where Sam runs away pre-series (for a ligitimate reason, nothing that makes him the bad guy/selfish one/whatever) and they don't find him for a while?  Does he become a hunter?  Is he successful?  Something where he and Dean reunite later - brother bonding and forgiving on both ends?

I read this story a little while back, and now I can't find it. Maybe ya'll can help? It was a normal AU, where Dean had been taking care of Sam his whole life. Now, Sam is giving his graduation speech (and I'm pretty sure he is graduating from Stanford), and instead of giving his prepared speech, he makes one up on the spot thanking Dean.

I remember that Jess is in the story as Sam's girlfriend. And I remember that somewhere in the speech, Sam says something like "We did it, Dean" or "We made it, Dean".

Dean is in Palo Alto after checking up on Sam when the Impala breaks down a few blocks from his apartment. He meets some of his brother's friends who tell him there's a sort of party going on (I think it was to celebrate his and Jess' engagement) . When they arrive at the apartment, Sam hears them talking about a guy whose Impala broke down and he kinda freaks out but when they arrive there, Dean is gone.
Non-wincest, has a couple of sequels. In the next one, Sam and Dean meet at a bar, have a pool game, and Sam convinces Dean to stay and have a rematch. The one after that one is an AU in which Sam makes Dean his best man at his wedding and the storry is as if John hadn't disappeared but had the brothers' adventures with Dean.

So I'm a fast reader, and a very picky reader at that so I tend to go through story as fast as it takes someone to breath (clearly an exaggeration), anyhow I really want to read some lengthy and well written Destiel (A short fic for me has around 10K to 15k words). Please warn me if it's a bottom/sub Dean I'm not fond of it but this will not stop me from reading a great story. I don't read gender swaps unless it's temporarily, no prostitute/stripper Dean, and absolutely no pregnant Dean (pregnant Cas fics are very much encouraged).

I don't like to permanently hurt Dean, Sam or Cas so no blind, or deaf fics. Fics where any one of them are mute is surprisingly fine with me. I honestly don't care who Sam ends up with, although I have some favorite (Sabriel, Sam/Ruby Sam/Jess, Sam/Sarah). Two characters I can never get enough of are Gabriel and Lucifer. I love them both, especially when Lucifer is not completely evil. Please tell me if angst because those I read when I'm in a certain mood and I LOVE humor fics, emphasis on the love.

I just notice how demanding I am. Thank you some much for helping me out.

I remember that Sam stole a car, but it broke down and he went on walking on the road and it was raining and suddenly Dean was there and shmoopy kisses ensued and everything was perfect.

This was a Dean/Cas story and all I can remember is a scene in which Sam and Jess are getting married and Dean and Cas had some sort of misunderstanding/falling at the wedding (I think Dean was hired by Cas for sex and they were pretending to be boyfriends at the wedding and it didn't work or something...)

2. This story I think was Dean/Cas, but it might've been gen. I only remember a little bit and Dean is OCD or something and is always straightening things out and organizing. Sam and Cas are trying to help him get rid of his tendencies, I believe.

From what I remember she ends up moving in with Jared Padalecki as his dog walker and Jared and Jensen are together. But Jess has body scarring from the fire and Jensen sees it and they kiss? I'm looking for a sad story where Sam became a lawyer and is with Jess, but he still occasionally sleeps with Dean, who visits him and insists on Sam going hunting with him. Finally, when their father goes missing, Dean gives Sam an ultimatum, Sam says "no" and he never sees his brother again. I remember that the last scene of the fic was set some years in the future when Sam thinks of his twisted relationship with his brother and wonders whether he should tell Jessica about it because (as far as I remember) he imagines that she would understand. This is all I can recall, except for the fic being rather agsty, depressing and sad. I've been looking for it for a really long time. Please, help!

I read a story a while ago where Sam is at Stanford and he is stabbed and the doctors don't think he'll survive or if he does he'll never walk again. Dean makes a demon deal to save his life and in return Dean has to forsake his family, he can't contact anyone from his past and he can't tell anyone his name is Dean Winchester. If he breaks these rules Sam drops dead. He also needs to bring the demon two human fingers? I don't remember specifics but later in the story you learn that he gave the demon his fingers and then when he finds the who stabbed Sam and kills them and takes two of their fingers. I think he gets labeled a serial killer or a psycho. He later runs into Sam and Jess (or maybe just Sam or just Jess) and they see his amulet and ask Dean where he got it, his response is something like "I got it off the first person I killed." He leaves and then later he goes to this house (he'd been seeing this girl and she wanted him to meet the family? I think) and it turns out Jess is there and that the girl is her sister. I think it ended there, I'm looking to see if it was ever finished. Fingers crossed that I didn't just mix up a bunch of stories or give too many wrong details.

Hi, looking for a fic where Sam is Hades. I remember that in it Jessica comes back to life because demons (I think), were looking for Sam's Queen/Consort. Which turns out to be Dean and most of the fic is about Sam and Jess trying to hide this fact from both Dean and the demons. There was a sequel/timestamp were Dean can use his new powers to control the radio and a certain band (Styx?). I hope thats enough details as I quickly read this fic a year or two ago and can't seem to find it in my bookmarks.

So, uh, I've lurked for way too long and you guys are all fantastic and if I can get over my anxiety and actually post this, welp, I really hope you can help me as well.?

The first thing I'm looking for is a specific fic that I read at like 2 am a while back and I'd really like to read again. (Excuse my crappy summary because it was at 2 am and maybe I just made the whole thing up.) Girl!Dean and girl!Sam wake up on the side of the road after a curse or something as boys, and naturally freak out. When they go back to the hotel, they find that all their belongings are those that look like they might belong to their male counterparts, kind of like they were always boys and nothing had changed. (And in the end, that is the case - I think a witch somehow manipulated their memories into thinking they were always girls, when in reality they weren't ever. So there's no actual genderswap. Just a lot of confusion.) I'm pretty sure it was on AO3 but I'm not entirely sure.

Secondly, um, I'd really love to read some fics where Sam somehow meets Jess later in the series (preferably during or post-apocalypse, and she either died in the fire or was somehow torn out of Sam's life with absolutely no contact, maybe she thinks he's dead or something) and how she might react to the person he's become, so very different from the Sam she knew at Stanford. I read literally anything and everything, so it doesn't matter what pairing it might be or whatever. Yeah.

I'm looking for a fic I read ages ago. I'm pretty sure it was gen. Dean was hunting solo in a park for some kind of supernatural animal. He gets hurt and then I think he gets back to his car and someone possibly parked near him is concerned. He is taken to hospital and the paramedics and concerned citizens all have the same name as friends and family.

I think Jess goes to see him as a candystriper without knowing who he is and she asks if he has family and he says he doesn't. Jess or Sam find out it's Dean from a picture that Jess discovers of Sam's with Sam and Dean as boys, which I think matches a photo in Dean's personal possessions.

I hope someone remembers this one.

Hello all. I'm trying to track down a fic I read a while ago and I had such a lovely response with my last request, I thought I'd try asking here.
It was a Stanford era fic, where Dean turns up before the Pilot with his newborn baby girl, who's mother has just died. He'd met and married her in the time after Sam had left (I can't remember where John is during the fic, but I'm pretty sure he's not missing?). Dean turns up a Sam's because he needs somewhere safe and secure that he can crash with his daughter. Sam had recently broken up with Jess because he'd been having recurring dreams about her dying and they freaked him out.
I'm pretty sure it's a one shot, and am 90% sure I read it on live journal.
