Hello!

After having read Miles to Go by Dollylux (http://archiveofourown.org/works/540251​3) that was recommended in response to someone else's request, it has me craving more stories along the same line where Jensen is overworked, exhausted, constantly busy and Jared looks after him in subtle ways and is protective of him. I know this request is similar to the other one that had offered the above story, but I am looking specifically where Jensen is exhausted, overworked and just has a lot of demands on him and Jared makes sure he doesn't completely collapse. Maybe Jensen's a superhero and constantly saving the world, or he's a high powered attorney on a high profile case and is working so hard to clear someone's name that he forgets about his own well being. I just want him so wrapped up in whatever he's doing that he tends to neglect himself but then there's Jared, ready to prop him up, feed him, cover him with a blanket when he falls asleep at his desk, sliding him an apple and Jensen eating it unconsciously and continuing on with work.

I guess this situation just resonates with me right now and after having read Miles to Go I just crave more. The story could be Gen or established J2 or new romance between the Js. Please no WIPs - thank you.

I tried searching for recs using the exhaustion tag but couldn't find what I'm looking for.

What I'm looking for are fics where Dean (not Jensen just Dean) just reaches the end of his physical, emotional, or mental rope and has some sort of beeak down. Not an extreme mental break but enought of a breakdown to warrant help and attention from others.

I'd like to see Dean broken and then preferably Castiel and/or others taking care of him and putting him back together again.

Obviously I prefer Destiel but gen is fine too and if its a poly relationship then I want Cas involved in it. I'm not a huge fan of wincest and would actually prefer not to be recced any this time around.

So. I read this story ages and ages ago at ff.net, probably around the time S1 aired.

Basically, Sam gets a cold that somehow enhances his psychic powers. He sneezes and things explode; lightbulb shattering and engines sputtering, those sorts of things. They try to find a solution and I remember they went to Bobby's for the cure. I also remember a scene where Sam was researching in a library and has a sneezing attack and the computers sort of explode.

I really want to read this one but I just can't find it anymore. And if you have more (classic or newer) whump!sam, sick!sam, hurt!sam, limp wrist!sam with protective!dean, then that would be awesome. Wincest optional but greatly encouraged. I just want to read hurt/comfort a lot. Thank you.

I'm looking for any fics where Dean has to give up something for himself in order to keep Sam healthy and happy. Anywhere from giving him his money, food, etc.

Angst is good here but if it's really sad (or has a sad ending) please warn me! But hunger pains, dizziness... Dean hurting for Sam basically.

I'd especially love (bonus) for someone (especially an older Sam) to reflect upon or realize how much Dean gave up for Sam. (And that Dean would do it again in a heartbeat.)

I'm looking for fics where j2 are in an arranged mating or marriage and one of them at least is really anxious with low expectations for his future happiness.

(maybe j1 is an omega who has only heard bad things about alphas and expects his mating to be terrible {domestic slavery} but j2 is actually a sweetheart and they are really happy together. ) ... Anything like that would be awesome!

In case you wanna read it? Worth Having Summary: Jared's family has never hidden that they hate him for being an omega. They think it makes him weak and his existence dishonors their family. When they discover that the king's son is looking for a mate they jump at the chance to rid themselves of Jared and increase their social standing. They believe that something good should come from the blight on their lives.
Jared is anything but weak. He is intelligent and strong, not to mention that he isn't small. His siblings have taken great pleasure in informing him what the rest of his life is going to be like. Jared can expect to be barefoot and pregnant, his only purposes in life to service his mate's sexual needs and to provide him with heirs. They even suggest he will never be allowed to leave his mate's bedroom. Jared refuses to allow this to happen and vows to himself that he won't go down without a fight.
He's completely unprepared when the king's alpha son Jensen treats him like something precious and is interested in actually getting to know Jared better. Jared is wary, convinced that this is some sort of trick and Jensen will turn on him any second and treat Jared exactly as Jared's siblings said he would.

Where one of the J's is afraid of water. Bonus If one of them lives on the water or has a boat. Fics where they actually almost drown and get saved / w/ mouth to mouth. This could be wincest too....

3) heatstroke/heat exhaustion
Fics where one of the J's (or Sam/Dean) gets heatstroke or heat exhaustion. Especially if they try to hide their exhaustion from the other until it's too late.

1) Stanford-era fics where Sam notices that Dean didn't take very good care of himself while they were apart. (Not eating properly, not getting enough sleep, running himself ragged on hunts, not treating injuries well enough/"toughing it out", scars from crude patch jobs where he couldn't reach well enough to do the stitches etc.)

2) My second is for the boys running out of food or money, Dean having to work multiple part time jobs and considering dropping out of school to keep them out of trouble (While John is on a hunt - maybe he didn't leave enough or was gone longer than they expected)
Especially if Sam is unaware of what Dean's going though.

I'd also like to exclude any fics featuring the boys and prostitution because non-con and dub-con kinda squick me out. :P Wincest is great though!

Hey guys, I've never posted here before but I thought I'd give it a try. A couple of days ago I read this really great Dean/Lisa Post-Apocolypse Fic where he's wasn't sleeping and in order for him to fall alseep Lisa sat him down in front of the cumpter and had him listen to YouTube vidoes...I don't remeber who this is by but if anybody knows where I can find it that would be awsome! I remember most of this story - I think I've read it six times but right now, for the life of me, I can't find it or remember what the heck it was called. This is what I remember:

Jensen is a college freshman(?) and he wants to lose his virginity, so, he goes to a club and meets Jared. The two of them hit it off and go back to Jared's place and hook up. In the morning, Jensen wakes up before Jared and leaves because he's just counting it as a one-night-stand - even though they both really got along.

Before long, Jensen finds out that he's pregnant and goes to find Jared but realizes the club is closed and he wanders around Jared's neighborhood for hours - pregnant, confused and stressed out. Eventually he goes to a coffee shop for orange juice or something and runs into Jared there. Something happens and Jensen starts crying.

Some other parts I remember are:

+Jared is an author/writer
+Jared is $$$ rich.
+Jared has more than one car.
+They move in together.
+Jared goes with Jensen to his parents house and it isn't pretty.

I know that this probably should be something I have saved to my computer but I'm a continuos failure at doing that so....

This story, if my memory is correct, has a pregnant Dean being found on the side of the road by Jensen?  Maybe Jared?

I remember that he was pregnant and Jensen and Jared couldn't get pregnant but were trying.

Jensen was a doctor and I'm pretty sure Jared was a nurse?  I know that Dean had run away from Sam and his dad without telling them he was pregnant.

Also, looking for the best recs for overly tired Jensen or exhausted Jensen with Jared not realizing how much sleep Jensen wasn't getting.  This could be due to overwork, insomnia or just not having time to sleep / eat / take care of himself and Jared having to jump in and force him to do it.

it's so stupid. I read this story a few weeks ago and probably even saved it on my harddrive but I can't find it anymore (facepalm)!
Here is what I remember:
Jensen is a hooker and Jared his rich client. Jared loves to hurt and control Jensen. I remember that Jensen had to kiss/lick Jared's feet. Jared tied Jensen up and really hurt him (whipping his dick etc.) and Jensen cried and pleaded. The next day Jared was sorry and apologised. They took a shower together and Jensen was really exhausted but Jared talked him into having sex again. Jensen was pretty poor and kept hooking up with Jared for the money although he could barely handle their sessions. The story was probably part of a kinkmeme but I'm not sure about that.
The summary was sth. along the lines: Jared likes to have control and Jensen doesn't know how to say no.

Any ideas?

I was just looking for a bunch of fics with Sam where he gets depressed or tries to run away or exhausted and severely sad or something and ends up breaking down, and John sort of calms him down and reassures him of his place in the family or something along those lines. Anything from drinking to bullying to sam hiding an injury cause it's "his fault" to suicide is fine (as long as it's not a death fic)
I'd prefer in character stories, so no complete asshole John but he can be nasty.
Any big brother cute Dean stories too are fine.
I really just want any teak jerker sam fics, and maybe some wee!chester "I should've died instead of mom" sam with good john and dean.

Hey anybody know the fic where jensen belongs to jeff, but jeffs wife is jealous so jensen is not allowed to be touched. Jared is playing a card game with jeff and finds jensen. Jared is an alpha; mated to misha who is an omega; but misha is okay with bringing Jensen home. Jared gets jensen home and there are a lot of issues, like jensen hiding in a closet. I am looking for a general fic in which Jared orSam is in the hospital (preferably for something minor: like concussion, broken bones, etc...but it could be something major too. NO CHARACTOR DEATH!) and Jensen or Dean either collapse because of the stress or somhow but themselves into the hospital as well because of stress and worry. I always read these fics where the nurse tells them they are gonna wind up in the bed next to their loved one if they don't start taking care of themselves. Well that's what I wanna see! Bonus points for Jared or Sam telling Jensen or Dean to go home and rest or to take care of themselves, and Jensen or Dean just ignoring it. More Bonus points if you can find a fic where Jensen or Dean is trying to support Jared or Sam while they are in the hospital (to pay for insurance, care, etc...) and they wind up overworked and just completely run down and exhausted. Specific Fics:
a) Dean and Cas were working together in the Winchester family business of being a private investigation firm thing. Sam comes back to talk with Dean and finds out that Cas is there. Castiel was not happy about Sam leaving Dean alone. I don't remember much but Castiel and Dean were good friends and that Cas was previously employed by the another faculty before coming face-to-face with Dean due to the case where they were after the same boy before Cas decided to switch teams to work with Dean.
This one has been FOUND too!! Yay!

b) It was a curse fic. Dean and Castiel were cursed and they kept transforming every time they slept (I think) and as the curse progresses the more tired they are. They were transformed into rabbits at one point and another they had amnesia and were both in the same bed (alone in the motel room) and they may have hed sex, not sure. Sam and Gabriel save the day at the end.

c) This one is a J2 fic. Jared is the Alpha of his pack and something happens where he is aware of Jensen from another (more brutal) pack where they had him wear a silver collar. They managed to rescue Jensen and then Jared took care of him. Jensen does not see his worth and Jared is certain that he wants Jensen as his mate and Beta. Jensen was given a job at the clinic where he took care of and/or entertained the children while waiting. Misha and Genevieve worked there too. Genevieve was working to sabotage Jensen's relationship with Jared.

I'm looking for fics where Sam suffers a lot. It can be emotionally (a big fight with Dean for example) or physically. He could habe been kidnapped and is now being tortured or his life after a huge torture and his dealing with it... or he could have been hurt in a hunt or in an accident... I don't care, I just want to see him suffer. :)

So I went a while without internet, and in this time I kept a document helpfully entitled "storyfinders." Yesterday, I remembered this document and opened it. Today, I'm posting a few ;)

1. Film Fic - With Taken 2 coming out (which I really need to see), I was wondering if there was any supernatural (or RPS) versions wherein Sam/Jared gets taken and Dean & John/ Jensen etc have to get him back? J2, gen or Wincest.

2. Specific fic - Jared and Jensen lived in a house with lots of other people. Jared finds out that he's pregnant but some jocks or something beat him up and he loses the baby. I remember that Gen or Sandy or one of the other girls help beat up the guys who attacked Jared.

3. Film Fic - Any stories loosely inspired by The Invisible with Jared/Sam in the role of Annie and Jensen/Dean as Nick? J2, gen or Wincest.

4. Film Fic - I figured that I couldn't be the only one who watched We Bought a Zoo and immediately translated it back to our favorite boys because Colin Ford was in it? I don't mind whether it's a retelling or just loosely inspired, as long as its gen, J2 or wincest.

4. General search - Any fics where Jared is sick/injured/upset and his dogs alert Jensen to the fact that something's wrong? I can picture them as being very receptive to his emotions.

5. General search - The classic alpha/beta/omega with Jared as an omega, because I'm sure there must be more out there than what I've turned up by going through old searches. Bonus points for: heat and mpreg. Sam/Dean or J2.

6. General search - Any stories where Jared/Sam is pregnant and nervous about people finding out/what people will think because he knows that there's a lot of people out there that mpreg is bad/wrong/hell-worthy or whatever. Jensen/Dean should be supportive, or perhaps clueless in the beginning :)

7. (Last one!) General search - where Sam/Jared is exhausted. To the point where Dean/Jensen shepherds him around and has to do stuff for him. Bonus points for: Jensen/Dean carrying Jared/Sam.

Okay, so it's killing me. I've been searching for this specific J2 fic for a while now (and I've read some brilliant ones along the way), but I am giving up finding it on my own.

It starts in London with Kane playing a concert there and Jensen along as a vacation. Somehow Chris bring Jared back to the room and Jensen having met him downstairs, already has a firm dislike of him. It is a longer/multi-chapter fic with the boys bumping into one another a couple of different times in exotic/beautiful locations (Greece, Italy?). Jensen is a journalist or photographer and Jared is a scientist or archaeologist with a nervous/shy disposition. I think Jared was a child prodigy and studied in England.

At their last destination, Jensen is injured and Jared is hurried to safty and they are seperated, until Jensen borrows a mobile phone in the airport and calls. Chris has a sort of crush on Jared and becomes upset when he finds out that Jared and Jensen enter into a relationship. In the end, Jensen arrives back in Texas to celebrate Jared's birthday and accepts a job from Jared's step-father, JDM. (I might be mixing fics with this thought.)

Please help. I'm pretty sure that this fic isn't in my imagination and would love to read it again. The author is quite talented at the slow-burn romance and the location disciptions were lovely.

Recs for any other longer AU stories in which the J2's meet and fall for one another in a different or unusual locale would be greatly appreciated. Self-recs are fine as is either of them bottoming, I'm not picky at all.

When I was out of town this past weekend, I remembered a fic I'd read a little while back and realized I couldn't remember the title or author or anything else but the scene that had been in my head. Didn't have internet to check, and I'm just now remembering to search for it.

--Jared was homeless. Jensen saw him around and wanted to help him out, but when he tried walking over to him, Jared thought that he was coming to chase him off. So instead, Jensen starts leaving him breakfast (in/by the trash can, I think) every morning. That's... really all I remember. I don't even remember how it ends.

General request: I've been wanting to look for this for a while and just hadn't gotten up the gumption to come and request it. I was hoping you guys could rec me some good poor!Jared fics. Maybe he's struggling to make ends meet. Maybe he works two jobs or is juggling work and school. If he worked himself into exhaustion or also had some low self esteem (which is so hard to find in fic ;_;)? That would be amazing. I'm fairly open to the pairing with this. I'm good with most pairings (and threesomes/moresomes) so long as Jared is in there. Only thing I ask is no Jared/Gen. And bottom!Jared is much preferred (if there's bottom!someone else, so long as Jared isn't a toppy bastard and rawrawr it should be fine).

Also, I'm sticking with "person" tags rather than pairings because I wasn't sure if I'd be in trouble for putting a bunch of general pairings I'm okay with.

Some secondary criteria:

2. No specific requirements as to the timeline. If there's any works that include the pre-series period, that's a plus.
3. No happy-endings, if possible.
4. No AU.

I'm a solid hurt!dean fan and I've almost totally exhausted what the wonderful hoodie_time comm has to offer. So now I'm looking for other stories that deal with Dean going into shock from bloodloss (especially by vampires) or his having heat stroke or heat exhaustion.

One of my absolute favorites is  Blood Work by adrenalineshots. In It Dean and Sam get captured by Gordon and his buddies as revenge for letting him "stew in his own juices" in Bloodlust and he decides that he's going to teach the boys a lesson about treating monsters the way they should be treated as well.

Dean ends up baking in the sun for most of the day until in the evening they loose a half starved vampire at him. Because he's tied down, he can't save himself and Sam can only partially help. Gordon eventually takes it away when Dean is going into shock from the blood loss.

Her characters' voices are spot on and the whole thing is deliciously angsty. (This is basically a rec I guess). That story is what got me hooked on the rest of her work actually.

Another story I read takes place a little after Asylum I think. Sam was wondering why Dean was so pissy at him if he insist that he doesn't blame Sam for what he did under Ellicot's influence. Eventually he realizes its because of the observations about Dean that he had written in the psych file.

They go hunting with Dean pissed at him like that despite knowing better and when they split ways Dean ends up locked in an old refrigerator (they were in a junk yard) during the heat of the day.

By the time Sam finds him he's unconscious from heat stroke. I can't remember the name of that story but I wouldn't mind reading it again actually.

Any other stories where Dean bleeds alot or he over heats externally would be lovely.
