There are ao many great fairy tale fics out there, both on the SPN side and the J2-AU side. Is anyone aware of any fic that follows the basic premise of the Sondheim musical INTO THE WOODS, combining several fairy/folk tales into one narrative? There's an idea scratching at the back of my brain. . .

Y'all have any recommendations for stories based on the legend of Robin Hood? I've seen a couple of humorous ones (Men in Tights), but I'm looking for something a little more serious - more mystical. Think the British TV series Robin of Sherwood starring Michael Praed and later Jason Connery.

• The three Winchester guys are the three billy goats Gruff, and there's a troll under the bridge. And a narrator.


• The narrator's pretty important to the style of the piece: think "Fractured Fairytales" from Rocky & Bullwinkle

• I'm not sure of the order, but Dean comes last and basically explodes the troll with his too-rich self-sacrificial angst

Looking for a fic where a teenager (or possibly more than one) has been taken by the Fae, and Dean and Castiel go after them because there is a chance Cas can use being an angel to get the teenager back if they haven't eaten/drunk anything yet. But Dean and Cas have to pretend to be a couple while they are in the faerie kingdom, and there is a bit where they are given outfits with jewels and flower accessories - the first night the colours are just about Cas being an angel, but after that Dean gets outfits that match his colouring. By the end, the pretend relationship is obviously a real one, but I can't remember much else.

Any suggestions?

Hi! This is a long shot request because I'm so vague on the details but maybe one of you guys recognizes it? All I can really remember is that Dean and Sam tangle with the Wild Hunt (faery) and there is a reveal at the end that the leader of the Hunt was John. I don't think the boys ever figured it out for sure although they suspected it. And that's all I have so yeah, it's a long shot. Thanks for reading! :)

Hello! I haven't posted a request myself here before, but since I feel like I've been pretty good at answering other people's recs on here I thought I'd give it a go myself :) There are four (really more, but right now this is it :P) types of fic that I look for:

1. Is there any Captain America fusion fic out there with Dean in the role as Steve Rogers? This is really the only type I'm interested in, I've seen many versions with Cas as the captain, but that 's really not what I'm looking for. Alternatively any type of fic where Dean goes from zero to hero is gold in my book - especially if this involves some kind of physical transformation!

2. I've always been a huge fan of the Billy Elliot movie and musical and thinking about it a couple of days ago the story is perfect for a destiel-fusion with Castiel as Michael and Dean as Billy (they even have the same colouring!). So if anything like this exists out there I will be eternally grateful to the author who wrote it and the kind person who found it for me! (I know Billy Elliot isn't very big in the fanfiction world..)

3. Any fic where Dean discovers that he's really a prince, a chosen one in a fantasy!AU or rich or anything like that. Something that would entail a big change in his lifestyle, maybe he would need to undergo training, deal with the press or be expected to act differently. Anything that involves major lifestyle-changes really!

4. Any good Narnia/SPN-fusions/crossovers. I think I've exhausted anything that exists on ao3 and ff.net, but I might have missed some really good ones, and I'm also hoping there are some on LJ or tumblr floating around, that I haven't found.

As for pairings I don't really have any OTP and am fine with both het and slash, though I do prefer to not read wincest, if possible (I'll read it because if not I'll miss SO many good fics, but then I always have to imagine them not being brothers and it generally makes fic slightly less enjoyable for me). The most important part for me is really that it's Dean-centirc. Thanks in advance to anyone that answer my requests! :)

I love reading fairytales retold as J2 or Sam/Dean and I have saved many, but my computer crashed and I have to reassemble some of my saved stories. I have one I loved but can't find so I was hoping for help. What I remember... It was in a community for J2 fairy tales or fables (can't find the right one there either). It was a take on Cinderella with Jared as the prince and Jensen as Cinderella. I am pretty sure that the step siblings were Alexis and Milo from Gilmore Girls, and Tom amd Mike from Smallville were friends? of Jared. I am sure Jensen had been abused in all ways but was so shy everyone thought him fine. Of course Jared saves the day, but not with fighting? I believe Chad had a role in it too as maybe Jensen's friend? I had made a personal PDF as it was just posted to a journal and I can't remember the author or the title. If anyone knows this fic, where to find it (or the fourn it was in) or has a copy I can have I would be greatful.

Also if anyone has any recs for good fairy tale/fabe rewrites I would love to read them, any pairing or rating or story base  or any persons (J2 or Supernatural characters)

Hi all,
I've been looking for a fic (I think it was a big bang) where Jensen was a prince who had one arm as a swan wing (based off a fairy tale where a girl had several brothers that turned into swans, and because of some time restraint thing, she saved her brothers but one was left with the wing of a swan). I think Jared was an adventurer on a quest or something. The fic had awesome artwork too.

So after having a Disney movie marathon I have the strangest craving for Destiel fairytale AUs, preferably lengthy ones with engaging plots and happy endings. Any kind of fairytale storyline will do, (Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, etc.) but rated PG-13 to NC-17. So basically, smut isn't necessary but would be a nice bonus. :D

This fic has long haunted me ad I really want to read it.

I know that the chapters were split into the seasons? Either Jensen or Dean was in Gerda's place. Other than that I can't remember if it was Cas/Misha or Jared/Sam as Kai. It was a long fic as well.

Admittedly even who was in Gerda's place is a bit spotty but I'm almost sure it was Jensen/Dean.

I don´t really remember a lot of the story but here is what I remember: Sam gets turned into a Swan(because of a curse I think) and he goes missing, Dean searchs for him following a Swan to a lake, the swan turns out to be Sam who turns into a swan in the day light and return to his human form in mid night (or something like that) Also Sam is attached to the lake or something so Dean comes and visits him everyday. I remember the monster who cursed Sam wanted to take his virginity and then kill him or something like that...

And that´s all. Im not really sure if this was a slashfanfic or a girl!sam story, also Im not quite sure but I think Sam was underage during the story. It´s really confusing..Oh and the story is pretty recent(2012) and Im pretty sure it was part of a bang or something.

I'm looking for a fic where either Sam or Dean (I'm pretty sure it's Sam...maybe?) has been hit with a spell that puts them in a sleep that can only be broken with true love's kiss...Dean/Sam is embarrassed to realize that his kiss of brotherly love is the one that wakes Sam. I think teasing ensues...? Tone of fic was pretty light, I think.

Not an AU, firmly set in canon with a silly Sleeping Beauty-esque curse.

Looking for a fic where Jensen is a genie. Or at least I think he's a genie...

Can't really remember much, but what I do remember was that Jared was the "bottle holder" and somehow the bottle gets stolen. Somewhere along the way Jensen starts to lose his magic and if he loses all of it it will kill him. One of the Samantha's is also in this and she helps Jared find the magic dust that Jensen needs. They have to go through challenges that can kill them along the way. The other thing I remember is that it was a long fic, 10K+-ish

So I’ve just been watching George of the jungle and I loved it (shamed) but I'm hoping there might be a crossover or something where the SPN characters are in that world. I was in the car today and Bryan Adams' song Everything I Do (I Do It For You) came on and it reminded me of Aragorn and Arwen from Lord of the Rings (I have no idea why).

So, my request is for any J2 or Sam/Dean fics that have that same epic romance feel to them. As if something is standing in their way, but something much greater than misunderstandings, etc. Such as one of them has to prove himself to the other, or an epic fairy tale feel (i.e. Robin Hood), or there's some sort of quest before they can really be together. That sort of thing. Did that make sense?

I have already read 'Fetters of Fenrir' and 'Doors of Time', which I think are similar (but not quite) what I'm looking for. Finished fics only please and no non-con or explicit torture.

First, I'm wondering if anybody knows of any J2 time-travel stories. Preferably, I'd like stories where one of the Js travels either forward or backward in time and meets the other J and falls in love and stays in the time period he now finds himself in. I have read one J2 time-travel story based on the movie "Kate and Leopold" and if anybody could provide a link to it that would be wonderful.

Secondly, I'm looking for some good amnesia fics. I don't care if they're already in a relationship when one of them gets amnesia or if one of them already has amnesia when they met.

Thirdly, please rec me your favorite J2 stories where one of them or both of them isn't human - weres of kind, dragons, etc. I would prefer stories of at least 20k wordcounts but it's not a deal breaker.

I've tried to refrain from using this comm. to ask for fics, I'm trying to get out there and look for them myself but there is one fic I'm looking for and when I didn't want to read it, (I was waiting until it was complete to read) I saw it everywhere, on every community I was in it felt like, but now that I'm looking for it, I'm pretty sure it's finished, I can't find it.

It's a J2 story and I remember the AN said she based it off or Beauty and the Beast in a way. It was about Jared sister being captured by Jensen and Jared goes to get her back but winds up trading places with her to save her. Jensen lives in a big castle I think and he used Jared as pretty much his sex slave. I do remember that Misha is Jensen's assistant, sort of, like his servant. Anyway it was very non-con and I remember the title was The Darkness...something. I saw it EVERY DAY! It's bugging the crap out of me. Plus my old computer broke down so even if it was in my old bookmarks, it's gone now.

Anyone know? I know it's pretty popular.

Okay guys, I just watched Disney's latest version of Rapunzel and In combination with the just very recently released spoilerish things made me crave Jen!punzel...  or Jar!punzel - but as close as possible to the latest Disney version. Singing included. I combed through several old posts but with the tragic loss of Delicious many old link collections have died a cruel death and my google-fu has lost all its magic powers.

Also, other adaptations of recent pixar and Disney movies are welcome (I already know most stories covering the "How to train your dragon" AUs, thank you, I wrote one myself - so anything goes except for that) but I really, really, really would love you eternally if you'd come up with a link to something Rapunzel-y (not a word, I know.)

Hi, I'm looking for two stories I read not that long ago and now can't find again.

The first one is a Dean/Cas AU/AR. Dean is cast into a alternate reality where Cas is a prince and there is a curse on the royal family. They will die a slow death unless they find true love. The Impala is a horse in this world, but 'her' rump is still a trunk that can spit out whatever Dean needs. Sam finds his way to the same world and stumples upon Anna who forgets everthing unless she keeps looking at it.

The second one is mostly Sam/Gabriel with Dean/Castiel in the background. Sam and Gabriel somehow ends up in Florida and needs to find Dean and Cas who, they find out, has ended up in the complete opposite corner of the country. Gabriel and Castiel can communicate with each other through Sam and Dean. Sam gets cursed and lives in his own head in the time where Gabriel kept killing Dean over and over again when they thought he was the trickster.

I hope someone can help me find these two stories, thanks in advance.

I don't have a clue what the title was or who the author was. I don't know if it's finished now, but was a WIP about four months ago, if that helps. Jared and Jensen were messing around in someone's office or something and they accidentally destroyed a book of fairytales. To fix the book, Jensen had to live through the fairytales and I'm pretty sure Jared was his love interest in most or all of them. Also, Danneel was a fairy and she told Jensen what to do.

Ok hey guys I'm trying to find a specific hurt!Sam fic here. Now I may already have it bookmarked and is just mixing up a few details but I doubt it. What I remember is Sam was forced to use his powers again and the angels of course gave him a warning do it again you're dead meat so during Sam's dreams and some other awake moments Uriel tries to kill him. I remember a moment when Sam was locked in the bathroom and Uriel was trying to kill him via the bathroom mirror. Sorry this is so vauge but it's basically all I remember and I also remember Dean was very protective of his brother during this fic. Remember season 4, gen and it may have been on ff.net but I'm not sure.

Sam and  Dean save a an actual fairy princess from being raped when she visits Earth.  The fairy is grateful, and she gifts the boys with wings in thanks. This obviously causes them some problems.  The brothers spend the rest of the story trying to find the fairy, so she will remove her gift.  The story is super cute and not particularly long. 

I'm afraid I don't really read a lot of Supernatural fanfiction - and this fandom seems huge and confusing right now - but I have read and loved this one fic I would like to recommend to someone. Only I remember neither the name of the fic, nor the title.

Hello everyone. I am looking for a J2 story that is loosely based on Cinderella. I am almost positive I had saved it but now I can't find it anywhere. I looked at J2 recs but I didn't see it there either.
Jensen is Cinderella, JDM is the wicked stepfather, Jared is the Prince, I believe that Milo and Alexis are the wicked stepchildren, Tom Welling is the one of Jared's guards. It was a little darker and had more abuse then the Disney version. I think Jared also bought Jensen's horse that he loved. I remember the scene where Jensen is locked in a closet (I think) and finds a tunnel to another room where Jared is looking for the man who lost a cufflink. Also I think Chad was the fairy "godmother". Thanks in advance!!!!

Hi! I just watched the new Disney movie Tangled, and I absolutly LOVED it! And I was wondering if there were any J2 stories or Wincest stories out there dealing with something kind of like the movie. Jared/Jensen Dean/Sam dont have to have the long hair going on, but if theres one out there, then im cool with it. But id like to see if theres any out there where one of the boys has at least the healing part of the hair down.

Hi all!

To jump right into it, the first fic was a Dean/Castiel pairing where everyone in heaven had nice white wings that was proportional to their body while Cas had big black awkward wings that dragged as he walked. It was AU where the angels of heaven helped people who prays. Cas, after millenniums, finally had gotten a prayer that he could fulfill which was Sam's prayer to help Dean find someone to be with.  I think Sam was with Jess but he could have been with Sarah. I also remember that Sam was kind of surprised that with the type of Prayer he..prayed..that the angel they sent was not a woman.

Anna and Micheal was Castiel's mother and father but it was a rule in heaven for the Angel children to never know. Dean was upset with a red headed angel that was later known to be Anna because Anna didn't help John save Mary of which Anna couldn't help for some reason.

If I remember correctly, Cas would look into the future of possible people Dean could be with. I think he looked into the future of Dean and a woman where Dean was happy but he was also extremely sad too and always thinking about the past. Dean was a cop who was looking for Alistair because Alistair was a serial killer with woman issues.

The second fic was a J2 AU where Jensen was a comic book artist and Jared was the main character of the comic that...saved people I think? He had these pea shaped things helping him. One loved to wear 3D glasses. While Jensen slept over his work bench Jared and the peas came out of the paper that Jensen was drawing on. Jared came out to save the world. Jared's enemy which was a more badass version of Jensen whose name I think was Dean had a twisted love for Jensen and wanted to do something with the real world that I can't remember. Jeffery Dean was a cop that helped in the end because Jensen while drugged drew that Jeffery helped Jensen's bad ass version as a child/teen, making Jeffery his weakness which helped Jared save the day but caused Jeffery to be sucked into the comic book.

The last fic I don't think there was a pairing, but I might be mistaken. Dean and cas gets mini sized into children and Sam had to take care of them. A couple scenes I remember clearly is where Cas was trying to fly, he was jumping a little and concentrating on trying to get his small wings to work. Another scene is where near the end everything worked out but Dean and cas was still little. They went for a group hug and Cas flew into Sam's arms.

So I'm looking for a fanfiction and I remember most of it but I don't remeber where I read it! It's season 6 so all information will be behind the cut!

1) Ok, first off is the comic. I hope this is allowed, as it is technically a story of sorts :P. It basically depicted Cas getting killed, and God bringing him back every time, showing God's view of it. (like, "AGAIN? SERIOUSLY?").
      It was only one or two pages I think, and I can't remember if it had actual text or not, but it was HILARIOUS. Like, snort juice out of nose, fall over and cry laughing, hilarious.

2) Second is an art/story. Someone had posted on deviant art (i think), a painting of Knight!Dean kissing Statue!Cas, and making him real again. and then someone wrote a story to go with it. It was really good. Most of what I can remember is that Cas was a statue in the garden where Sam and Dean would come to play. Cas fell in love with Dean, and visited him in his dreams, tried to convince him he was real, etc. I think maybe Gabriel appeared at some point as well?

Any help you could give would be great!
