Hey guys. I'm looking for a fic I read a long time ago and forgot to bookmark. =(

It was set in season one, episode 9 Home. I remember that Dean and Sam had to vanquish the spirit of their mother who was still haunting their old house (I don't remember if she was evil or not). She was trying to keep them with her in the house or something (maybe kill them so they would be with her?). Dean was extremely broken by the whole situation.

I do remember at the end when they finally did rid the house of her spirit, John found out and pretty much lost it and yelled at Dean. Dean was a mess and there was a good bit of sobbing and hurt!Dean and Sam comforting him. I'm not really sure how the fic ended.

If anyone remembers this fic and has a link, I'd appreciate the share. Thanks in advance <3

So I had a bit of a falling out with this series during season 3 and never made it more than halfway through season 4 before i stopped watching. I always felt they started introducing too many character and that sort of thing, which always puts me off shows, and Sam and Dean's relationship suffered for it (in my opinion only i'm sure, but hey, I'm particular about what I enjoy)

So.

1) could I have some fics set in season 1 and  early season 2 where we get some really good brotherly interaction going on.
2) Awesome case fics, where the boys have to research the monster like in the first season, I always enjoyed that.
3) Some fics addressing why Missouri treated Dean like that in the episode "Home", or some Bobby and the boys, or hell, all four of them, Bobby, Missouri and the boys (I always did want to see those two meet, just for the clash over how they both treat Dean)
4) (in case it's not obvious Dean is my favourite) Some hurt, snarky Dean, and some panicky, protective Sammy, because I find that combination downright adorable.
5) Are there any fics where Bobby raises the boys instead of John. I don't mind John, but I absolutely love Bobby and he seems to have a huge soft spot for them, so some fics about that would be cool.

Just please, no angels and war between heaven and hell, no Castiel, no ruby, no Bela. Ellen, Jo and Ash are sort of amusing, but I sort of just like Missouri and Bobby... so yeah... any and all help would be much appreciated.

Just finished watching 'Home' and was wondering if there are any fics out there that deal with the emotional aftermath of this episode. Wanting to read something where Dean and Sam talk about the apology of Mary and what they suppose it might mean. And then Dean dealing with the fact that he saw his mother again, and Sam seeing his mother for the first time. Just basically wanting something with Dean and Sam talking about the events of visiting their old house, etc. Self-recs are fine, no wincest or slash. Gen please.

I'm going through season 1 again and I'm up to Home. What I'm wondering is if there's any stories where they do go home and old neighbors or something realize who they are.

Also, are there any fics where the boys are know & respected for what they do? (present time if they exist) Within the Hunter society or the world at large, doesn't really matter.

Gen preferred on both, please and they can be casefics!

2) I like Kidnapped!Sam. Insanely cruel hunters angry he caused the apocalypse and Gordon returning would be great. Anything'll do. I'm a big Sammy girl...

3) Any hurt!Sam tags to Skin, Home, Criss Angel Is A Douchebag, Fresh Blood, Hunted, Dead Man's Blood, Bloodlust, The Benders, Simon Said and Time Is On My Side. Wow, there's a lot there, but I'm not too picky which appear. I like tags to these particular episodes.

4) Any awesome epic fics you could recommend. As you can probably tell, I love Sammy :) So, hopefully edging towards that. Every now and then I come across a fic that I find really stands out, my particular favourite was Edge of Madness by Dawn N, so I'd love to find another. There are only two epic stories I consider to REALLY stand out in my favourites.

NO wincest, please. I'm only interested in the brotherly bond. :)
I'm ok with teen fics, where Sam is around 16, at the youngest. I don't like future fics much nor J2.

Just watched 'Something Wicked' and now I'm looking for fic where kids that have been affected by the supernatural take up the hunt.

Something like this has to exist.

I know I read this one when I first got into SPN and I really want to read it again.

The whole story is told from the POV of the house from pre-series through at least 'Home'. It talked about how the walls talked to each other and kept different bugs and what not out. But after the fire it was harder 'cause the 'new construction' didn't want to cooperate with the pre-existing structure. And how it was sad that it couldn't 'be there' for Dean and Sam as they were growing up/traveling the country.

Help me Story Finders, you're my only hope.

Are there any Dean/Jenny from Home fics? Doubt I'll have any luck but just in case... lol

Or also any other stories with Jenny.

Are there any stories that mention how Sam and Dean feel about/deal with growing up without Mary, especially Sam? His feelings on never getting to know her and not remembering.

And stories that also talk about how they feel after seeing her in Home?

I looked through all the "Home" tags but didn't see this particular type of fic so I'm hoping you guys can help me. I'm looking for fics where Dean doesn't think Missouri likes him so he avoids her whenever the boys are around her and Missouri sets him straight about it. It can be either Gen or Wincest either one.
