Back in the fandom after a long hiatus, and have sadly misplaced a lot of my old fanfic bookmarks. I'm looking for a story that I think was posted on LJ. Can't remember whether it was gen or Wincest, but I do remember that Dean is left temporarily blind after Lucifer is freed. He and Sam stay at Bobby's for a while before hightailing it, and I think Dean may have been slow to update Sam when his eyesight started coming back because he felt like it was better for Sam to freak out over that than to freak out over everything else going on with them.

Does this ring any bells with anyone?

Huge throwback search to a specific scene from the season finale of season 4. Where "Dean" (Zachariah) left a hateful voice mail to Sam about how he's a monster.

I'd like any fics that deal with that voice mail. Especially if Sam is depressed/hurt from the voice mail, suicidal even. I don't know why but I like to feel their heartache. I'm weird.

Hey, so you know how there was that phone call Dean made to Sammy after the fistfight, where he apologized and said he wasn't like his dad, and he wouldn't kick Sam out? But Ruby messed with it an on Sam's end, he heard Dean call him a monster and say he was gonna put him down? Well, there was never any discussion about it afterwards, so it really seems like neither of them know about Dean's voicemail being manipulated. Are there any fics that discuss this, where one of them mention the message and the other is like "Wait, I never said that/You never said that"? And the whole thing comes to light and some old hurts are buried?

Fics are great but emotional oneshots are awesome.

1) I read a hurt!dean story a long time ago and I remember that it was really well written and not a long one but can't remember the details. I think Sam said something along the line "It has never been about you, right, Dean? It has always been about someone else".

2) Is there any story that deal with Dean's message (in season 4 final)? Like they talk about it afterward and Dean tells Sam that he didn't say anything like what Sam heard.

I read a story today that has me wanting to read stories where they address the horrible voice mail Dean "supposedly" left for Sam at the end of season 4. I'm looking for fics that deal with the altered voice mail message that Sam got in Lucifer Rising that was supposed to be from Dean. Maybe Sam keeps thinking about it or Dean has noticed Sam is acting differently and somehow finds out either from Sam telling him or maybe finding the message on Sam's phone. I'm searching for a story that starts at the end of season 4. Castiel tries to save Sam and Dean from Lucifer, but can only take Dean because Lucifer is holding on to Sam or something. Then Castiel takes Dean to an alternate universe where Dean's parents are alive but Other!Dean is a jerk who does drugs and mistreats his family. Other!Dean goes missing and Normal!Dean shows up on his alternate family's doorstep. That's all I remember. If you can help me I'd really appreciate it! Thank you in advance!

My delicious is all messed up because of the recent changes, so I ended up losing a lot of links. There's one fic in particular I've been desperately trying to find again...

Sam & Dean, I don't remember if it's Wincest or not. It's set I think right after the season 4 finale. Sam is devastated by what happened and thinks that Dean wants to kill him. They're in the Impala, going to a hotel. When they get there, Dean goes inside to book the room and leaves Sam the gun; Sam thinks Dean wants him to kill himself. As he prepares to do it, Dean comes back and is shocked and horrified and tries to stop him. Sam thinks it's because Dean wants to kill him himself, so he says something along the lines of 'just make it quick', and Dean is horrified when he realizes what Sam thought he wanted.

1) This is a weird request, but here it is: are there any fics where Dean is addicted to angel blood, especially Castiel's? Or, it doesn't have to be an addiction, just Dean taking Cas' blood. He could gain power from it, or it could bond them or something. Dean/Cas is preferred, but I have to point out that I'm not looking for bloodplay fics - the blood should serve some purpose other than sexual pleasure. (this strange request stems from 4x22 Lucifer Rising, when Cas had Dean shoved up against the wall, and then cut his own arm. My very first thought was that Cas was going to give Dean his blood for a power boost or something. My imagination is far too vivid)

And again, not limited to Castiel. Any angel will do.

2) Second general request is one for protective!Gabriel fics, where he saves/protects Dean. The more badass Gabriel is, the better. Any pairing/gen.

I'd read a fic a while ago set immediately after the end of season 4, right after the cage opens.  Except, it's not Lucifer that pops out of the cage; it's just Sam's Grace.  Sam had been Lucifer all along, had been living through one human incarnation after another over the millennium.  And now that he's completely himself again, he's still just Sam.  Doesn't have any interest in destroying the world.  I think there might've been Wincest in this, but I'm a little vague on how the story ended.

First time poster, long-time lurker...

1. So while re-watching season four I realized how in love I am with Genevieve Cortese's Ruby. This was further compounded by sun_shot_sky's Hearts Like Ruined Cities (which if you're a fan of kick!ass but humanized Ruby is a must read).

So does anyone have any similar fics: Kick!ass but slightly human Ruby. Doesn't have to be redeemed!Ruby, but I definitely prefer season four Ruby. Especially looking for codas to 4x22 where Ruby changes her mind/stays with the boys (bonus points for Dean, Sam, Ruby, and Castiel traveling together; slash, wincest, and het are all great).

2. Which leads me to my second request... Since I'm a huge fan of Castiel and a new fan of Ruby- are there any great Ruby & Castiel friendship fics out there. Slash, het, wincest, whatever, just as long as the focus is Cas and Ruby. The longer the better!

Would you all be willing to indulge? I'd love stories from back just after season 4 ended, up to just before season 5 started, when we had no idea how Sam and Dean were going to get out of that particular mess, with the Lucifer rising in front of them.

No "Dean and Sam are enemies", no "Sam is evil and Dean is perfect" and I would really prefer gen. Castiel on their side is great, and maybe even some "Lucifer isn't really the evil one". Dark Sam and Dean is fine, as long as they're still Sam and Dean together.

Basically, I just want some slightly older stories, from before we knew Sam and Dean were vessels. Rec me your favorites from that time!

I am looking for the fic which starts when Dean and Sam start to run away from Lucifer. When they are trying to get out, Dean is being pulled back by something and Sam falls unconcious. When he wakes up again, he finds Dean lying on the altar where Lillith died. I know it´s not much, but can anyone help me?

So remember in Lucifer Rising when Cas rolled up his sleeve and cut his arm and for one glorious second we all thought he was going to feed Dean angel!blood? Um, yeah...did anyone ever write a fic where he DID? Or you know, any fic that involves the use of angel!blood outside of drawing angel repelling symbols. I'm watching True Blood and thinking that Eric and Pam would love, love, love Sam and Dean and be utterly fascinated by them so I was wondering if anyone knows of any True Blood crossover fic? 

Or any post 4:22 fics wherein Castiel is able to snatch Sam and Dean out of Ilchester just in time and decides to take them and Chuck underground by hiding them in Bon-Temps since there is so much/so many supernatural things all in one place there it'll make him, Sam and Dean hard to pick out amongst all the other. 

If anyone knows of anything like either of those let me know. If not, and the plot sounds intriguing, please write it! I'd do it myself but I've got too many unfinished fics and no time as it is. 

1) Are there any fics set after season four where Dean treats Sam like crap at first, and the boys eventually make up? I'd just like some angsty boys for a little while.

Hey! Ok, I read this story about a year ago and I can not find it in my delicious for the life of me since I only remember the one scene: Jared takes Jensen (for his birthday?) to a place where Jared used to dance - I think he's in college or something now and doesn't dance anymore - and does a little pole dance strip tease for Jensen in a private room but for whatever reason I can't remember, Jensen gets really uncomfortable and they have to leave and Jared is all angsty and confused. Ring any bells?


Then, I would also like some recs for 4.22/post-finale coda or whatever it's called. I haven't seen any recc'd on my friends list but I know it must exist!
