There's a lot of good angsty fics about the aftermath of that changed voicemail but it seems a shame to just ignore Dean's open hearted moment and last ditch attempt to reconcile with his brother.

Are there any fics out there where the Angels didn't give Sam that 'extra push' and Sam got Dean's original message? Ideally, I'd love to read a story where it changed the course of events entirely, but anything would be good.
