I remember reading a fic either on LJ or AO3 that takes place after the season 7 finale. In this story, Jodie helps Sam try to find Dean after he disappears from Dick Roman's lab. I know this fic is Wincest. I can't remember if Amelia or the dog played any part in this.

I'm looking for a story revolving around Sam and Dean. I'd appreciate it is someone could help me. I don't remember everything, but do I remember a curse being put on Sam putting him into a deep sleep. I can't remember if he gets hurt or if a witch does it. I think Dean takes him to Bobby's. I think Jody was in it too. Everyone is trying to think of a way to wake him up, but then Dean is told that only Sam's true love can wake him up. This bothers Dean, and he's told that true love doesn't have to be romantic or something. So Dean confesses his feelings to Sam. He jokes with Sam saying that the whole thing makes him Sleeping Beauty (Snow White?) and he's woken up. It's not a wincest or anything.

Okay, I read this fic within the last 12 months, probably. I believe I read it on archive of our own, but I can't be sure. The fic was about Dean and Cas bought an old house that needs repairs, the kitchen included. They slept on the floor in the living room for a while because Dean refused to go into the bedroom to fix it for whatever reason. At some point I'm pretty sure Dean offers to repair a woman's car in exchange for something, I think she did some work on the house, maybe? I believe Dean and Cas were in a relationship. Dean was quite distant, sad, I'm pretty sure it was because Sam was dead. I think Jody was briefly in the fic via phone call and mentioned that she missed hearing from them. They may have gone and visited her once during the fic. It was a fairly long story as well. At least 10,000 words, if not a lot more. I seem to remember 90 thousand... but I could be very wrong.

Anyway, I've been trying to find this fic and am wondering if ya'll could help. I've read twice (both times found by accident) but keep forgetting to save/bookmark it, and now that I'm actually looking for it, I can't find it anywhere. This is what I remember:

I believe (but not 100% positive) I read it on Archive of Our Own.

It took place around S8 (or early S9) because Sam is sick and him and Dean believe it has something to do with the trials, but Dean finds out Kevin had the flu and Sam just caught it. He decides to play a quick prank on Sam by making him believe he has something serious before telling him it's just the flu.

Dean eventually catches what Sam had, so Sam then takes care of him.

I believe it was around Christmas, because I remember Dean being too sick to go with Sam and either Kevin or Cas (or both) Christmas tree shopping. Also Charlie, Jodie and Garth come over. I remember Cas giving the boys a Playstation. When everyone goes to bed, Sam gives Dean the amulet back.


Does this sound familiar to anyone? Hopefully I'm not mixing two different fics into one lol

Are there any crossovers out there that specifically feature Sheriff Jodie Mills interacting with Sheriff Stilinski from Teen Wolf and/or (former) Sheriff Keith Mars from Veronica Mars? Dean and Sam can be in there, as well as any characters from either of the other shows. I just have this weird desire to see those Sheriffs interacting, maybe talking about all the really bizarre cases they have to deal with.

I've been keeping my eyes peeled for any stories told from Jodi or Charlie's perspective that are more than 10,000 words. Alas, either Supernatural fandom has no love for these lovely ladies or else I'm looking in all the wrong places.

Gen is awesome. Jodi/Bobby or Jody/Dick is awesome. Charlie/any female character is awesome. I'd be glad to see Charlie and Dean being bros and picking women together! I just want to see some love for my favorite ladies.

Just to clarify, both Jodi and Charlie do not need to be in the story. I'll be happy with one or the other. Though having both would be a bonus. ♥

Edit: Please, no Destiel. I don't dislike the ship, but it's not my thing. I'm more of a Wincest-shipper or a general Sam-shipper.
Edit #2: I view Jody's relationship with Dean and Sam as sort of motherly, so I don't ship her with them. I really only ship her with Bobby or Dick.

Are there any fics where 'survivors' of the MotW get together, for any reason. Whether it be to have someone else who understands what they've been through, to talk to (as the subject line suggests, a support group). Or some of them band together and become hunters.
