Long, complete destiel canon-divergence AU I've read years ago. Unfortunately, I'm very fuzzy on the details. What *might have been* the premise:

Dean doesn't know about the supernatural, has a job and a house. One day, freaky things start happening to him, and finally the angel Castiel appears in his house and tells him of the whole vessels/destiny shtick. Dean has trouble believing him, but doesn't have much choice other than to go along and try to stop the apocalypse.

I think it is eventually revealed that someone (possibly the angels) has meddled with time, probably to have Dean grow up without hunting and thus pliable, unprepared for the heaven's grand plan. Castiel is working with Dean to prevent it (perhaps he remembers the original timeline).

Dean may have been raised by Ellen and/or Bobby. Wish I remembered more than Dean's freakout at meeting Castiel in his house!

So I've been looking for J2 or Wincest AU's where one of the boys have a cruel or fearsome reputation, and as fate would have it, the other character is forced/manipulated into a relationship with him. Would love it if the reputation turned out to be at least partly false, and said character ends up having to soothe the other character's fears.

Can be slavery, a temporary contract, or something else completely, I don't mind. Not looking for fics where one of the characters are actualy evil, and happy ending is a must. Any recs would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I was reading a fic called "No Such Thing As True Love" by TheCreator on Archive of Our Own website. The author regularly updated and has last posted chapter 29 on 11/29/14. Then the updates email I usually get just stopped. The author regularly updated once a week at least. No warning of any kind to leave or stop. The story and author is just gone from AO3 archive. Anyone know anything about this? I have searched on google and I am not having any luck. I even researched on AO3 and come up with nothing.

I need some help, please!! I'm looking for a specific story. It's probably saved on my computer but I can't find it without the title or the author's name. That's what I remember:

- Sam worked for cps or was a social worker

- Dean and his three (?) kids were his new case

- Dean was a selective mute

- he lived and worked on a horse ranch

- his wife Anna died some time ago

- as a child Dean lived on the streets with John, but John died or was killed

- Sam calls Dean a "savage child"

- I think Dean didn't like to be inside or wear shirts

- Sam was adopted as a baby by a very nice family

- at some point Sam and Dean went swimming in the ocean, then there was a big campfire an they danced around it

- another case of Sam was a pregnant girl who tried to commit suicide (or died?)

I don't remember if the boys were related in this story or not. The story was pretty long... Any ideas?
