Hi, I am looking for a fic I read a few years ago! IIRC, Sam and Dean are investigating a case in a town where unlikely couples are suddenly getting married because of some kind of love spell. At some point Sam and Dean get hit by the curse and have to fuck or die, and they give into their growing feelings and have sex. Afterwards they still feel attracted to each other and they assume that the spell hasn't broken but it turns out they are genuinely attracted to each other now. I think the witch who cast the spell makes fun of them for it? 

 I'm very hazy on the details so if this sounds at all like any fic you've read please let me know. Thanks!

I've just finished listening to the excellent podfics 'And I Will Walk on Water' read by Liannabob and 'Hardroad' by Tenoko1 am now on the search for more.

One I'm particularly interested in is 'On the Wings of War' by AlchemyAlice, read by Liannabob as well, but all the links I've found are dead. Anyone know where I can still find a copy? I'd love to listen to it!

Also looking for other Dean/Cas or Gen podfic recommendations. The longer the better - at least an hour. I'd also prefer canon / supernatural universe fics rather than AU, though still happy for reccommendations for either.

• Pre-bunker era, but not set in any specific season (to my recollection).


• They're on a case, or have just finished a case, and Dean suddenly starts ... um. Having his mouth fill up with semen? randomly? and it turns out that there was a dead porn star from that area whose ghost decided that Dean had perfect cock-sucking lips and wasn't putting them to proper use.


• Pretty sure the phrase "ghost ejaculate" is used at least once.


• Burning the body doesn't do anything, so Sam figures that Dean has to give someone a blowjob in order to get the thing to stop. Sam's going to go find someone for Dean to give a blowjob to, but Dean thinks that's too gross and the only person it wouldn't be completely gross with is Sam--so he gives Sam a blowjob, but makes Sam put a towel over his face so that it's somehow less weird.

So I read this story couple of years back at SPN fanfiction.net, but now i cannot find it. It was about the boys staying a hotel, with some really old pictures on the walls. Dean kept saying the pictures were moving ( he was also suffering from insomnia ) . Eventually sam gets captured by this very old camera and gets trapped inside the picture.There was a side case also going on about some train and ean had gotten a cut and that is how he got infected with supernatural insomnia. In the end they burn the whole hotel down to release all the trapped souls. 

I once read this fanfic about the brothers on a case about mermaids, and it somehow it ends with them.back at the hotel, and Sam gets hit with something that pulls him back to the ocean, so Dean holds onto him

1. Fics where Dean gets it on with older hunters or men in general that highlight his daddy issues. Even better if they happen to be men John knows and there's a fair amount of Dean/John subtext. An example of what I'm looking for is Yellow Couch by Janissa11.


2. Fics that explore the idea that Sam has romantic and sexual feelings for his brother while Dean doesn't feel the same way. My personal favorite take on the trope is when Dean tries to give Sam what he wants anyway or uses sex as a tool. But I'm also open to stories where it doesn't get any further than pining!Sam or Dean rejecting him.


3. Fics that generally address Dean's instrumental perception of his body and the fact that he tends to use sex as a weapon.


4. Casefics that stood out to you because the author was really good at evoking a creepy mood. Additionally, casefics where the setting plays an important part in the story. Especially if the story happens to be set in the woods.

• I'm 98% sure it's set post-removal of the mark of Cain


• Dean's having nightmares, but they don't happen if he sleeps next to Sam


• They're actually attacks on him by faerie, who are coming after him because of his escape back in "Clap Your Hands"


• They use dream root so that Sam can walk into Dean's faerie-induced nightmares and help him fight back against the faerie


• In the end, they're able to force the faeries into corporal form, and fight them off that way


• It was on the longer side--I think it was split into two parts


• It's either smarmy gen, or slow-burn wincest--don't remember which for sure.
