I'm looking for a story I sore a while ago. I don't remember the whole story but it was teen Sam or based in season 1 becuase I deffently remeber John being in it. I remeber Sam was in a fire and got burned really bad and Dean was very protective and stayed by his bedside. I remeber one scene were John came back after running away and wanted to hold his hand but couldn't as it was burned so he strocked his cheek instead.

Another story I have been searching for for a long time is a sick Sam fic. He was really ill and was getting worse quick. The doctors has no idea so a specialist team that target hard to diagnose casses got involved. Eventually they do diagnose him but there was lots of protective Dean and I think John and Bobby but not to sure.

This is all i can remember about this fic.....Jensen and Jared are together, Christian Kane's there too and he and Jensen party a lot. Something happens one night and Jensen gets hurt and falls into a coma, it's years later and he wakes up but Jared has moved on and is with a woman, but to Jensen it's the next day. He tries to get back with Jared but he wants nothing to do with him. Then Jensen moves away and Jared realises he's still in love with Jensen and follows him. Does anyone know the name of this story. I was just thinking of some of my favorite gen fics, and I remembered one that I can't remember the title too. What I do remember is this: the boys are working a case that looks an awful lot like one that affected Dean a while back. People are falling into comas, with no reason. However, Dean is adamant that its a different thing, because he knows that when he was in a coma, he was aware of his surroundings and retains those memories. The current victims do not.
I would love to reread this fic, so thanks for the help!

1.) So I read this fic a while ago and it was on LiveJournal somewhere not sure if it's in ao3 or not. It's Stanford era and Deans feeling really alone. John left and Sam stopped calling him, on the hunt he goes on this witch made this sort of Sam clone/thing that was suppose to kill him in a month or so but the 'sam' ended up atttached to him. Months later the real Sam shows up and Dean is mind controlled by the 'sam' to try to kill him but Sam and Bobby end up killing it.

2.) I was looking for some hurt dean (probably Stanford era or Au Idc) where Dean gets sent to the hospital and wake up in a coma months later. But john and sam don't show up and Dean is tragically hurt by that. (Self esteem issues Dean feeling alone) any fic that has something to do with Dean being alone and hurt is good with me.

3.) So I never really see a lot of Dean and Sam fighting and Sam being wrong fics. I was wondering if there's some kind of fic where Sam says something super horrible/hurtful to Dean and ultimately makes him feel like shit (and thinks that sam doesn't care but he does) I just want a boys fighting one where Dean ends up emotionally hurt or right during the argument. I really want Sam to be kinda an asshole in it. ( love sam! But I just don't see many of these)

Hello, my google-fu fails and I need some help finding a couple stories I read a long time ago. Hopefully someone here can help me.

1. I had this on my old computer, but then it sat in a pool of iced tea and now I cant find it. Jared lives in a hospital, he doesnt speak or take care of himself, he is in a state of dreaming since witnessing his parents murdered as a child, Jeff I think is his doctor Misha is a nurse there. The hospital is getting ready to age Jared out and put him in a state of dreaming where there is no chsnce of him ever waking up. Jeff calls Jim who gets Jensen, who is a dream walker to come and try to wake Jares up before it is too late.

2. Jared and Jensen are angel/human hybrids of sorts, they live in a sanctuary, I think because they were captured, Jared has a mangled wing, Jensen is very protective of him. Misha comes to the santuary and adopts them, I think they had been there a while because no one wanted them. I remember when Misha first showed up at the santuary Jensen and Jared flew way way up in a tree.

Hi! I'm looking for a fic I read on ao3. It was gen and a one-shot. It included Dean getting brain damaged after he hit his head on a hunt on an angel statue in a cemetery. He is in a coma for a while and the doctors think he is going to die, but he wakes up although he has many problems like seizures, difficulty walking and forming sentences and problems with one arm. He gets a little better before Sam pulls him out of the hospital and takes him to a bunch of faith healers and such. I remember Dean being really sweet and open with Sam in his condition

In the end there's a big twist that this fic took place in season 3 and Sam wasn't trying to heal Dean's brain, but find a way to save his soul from the deal before his year is up.

Hi guys, I'm looking for stories vaguely like the following: Jared is in a coma and Jensen, a complete stranger at this point, likes to visit him. Maybe he witnessed initial accident that put Jared in hospital or something? Kind of like that episode of Friends when Monica and Phoebe visisted that guy who got ran over because they were flirting with him in the middle of the street. Except Jared isn't a total jackass like the guy in Friends was when he wakes up.

Hey kids, I've been tearing up the usual haunts for the last week trying to track down a fic I read awhile ago. I'm 90% sure it was originally posted to OhSam, but I've looked through the tags and the archive on that site and I can't find it. I don't remember who the author was. It had art with it, but I can't remember the artist either.

Basically, Dean still managed to convince Sam to stop the last trial in "Sacrifice" and Sam still ended up in the hospital as the angels fell. Rather than slowly dying, he was more like stuck in a sort of limbo. The fic opened with a nurse or doctor encouraging Dean to let Sam go because he was obviously suffering, and eventually Dean agreed, except even after life support was removed, Sam inexplicably didn't die. At one point, an angel broke into the room and stabbed Sam in his bed, and while the wound didn't heal, he also didn't die.

Eventually Dean took Sam and left, the Impala ran out of gas, and they ended up hunkered down in some house in the middle of nowhere. Cas and Charlie (and maybe Gadreel?) eventually tracked them down and Dean was angst-ridden over his decision to let Sam die back in the hospital. It might have ended up being wincest, but I'm not sure.

The fic I'm looking for was set at the end of season 6 or the beginning of season 7. I seem to remember there was mention of Cas as god, but it could have been before all that went down. I do know it was about Sam's wall crumbling, and he basically never came out of the coma. Dean carried on looking after him at Bobby's, basically giving up on everything. It starts with Dean being hopeful that Sam will come out of it, but as Sam deteriorates so does Dean. There were pretty in depth scenes of Dean washing Sam and treating bed sores etc. In the end Sam dies in one of the most heartbreaking scenes I've ever read. If memory serves, Dean shoots him because he knows Sam wouldn't want to be stuck like that but I'm a little hazy there. There may have been some sort of communication between the brothers, with Sam asking Dean to put him out of his misery. However it comes about, Dean just gives up. He basically goes to bed and wills himself to die, and Bobby can't do anything to stop it and has to watch as Dean dies of a broken heart.

The last scene is Dean waking up in Heaven, in the Impala and Sam comes to get him, and Mary is on the porch waving at them or something similar. It is one of the saddest and most beautiful things I have ever read and although it ends with them both dead, it kind of has a happy ending too.

I'm pretty sure this was a oneshot, and I'm pretty sure it was Gen and not Wincest, but I'm not positive about that. I'm scouring the big bang and the mini bangs in search of it as well as my story favs, bookmarks etc but so far, no luck.

Any suggestions? Sound familiar? Chuck, I hope so!

I don't remember that much about it, but Dean was in a coma for most of the story, and the doctors were going to pull the plug. Sam and John said goodbye, and John gave a wonderfully sad speech to Dean, speaking about him being with his mother after he died. I remember that in the end of the fic, Dean does get better and it has a happy ending. I think at the start, Dean may have been beaten up and he called John. I'm not sure if it was the same fic, but it might help narrow it down.

1. Supernatural/NCIS crossover fic - This fic opens with Sam and Dean meeting Tony DiNozzo who has been kidnapped by 'terrorists' who are possessed by demons. It was a long fic that progressed with parallel stories of the NCIS team coming up with legitimate reasons for why Sam and Dean do what they do and the Sam and Dean story of them trying to protect the NCIS team from demons. 2. This fic deals with the long-term effects of Dean having been possessed by Meg and having a head injury during this possession (I believe he was struck in the head by a piece of concrete). It opens with Sam caring for Dean while he is still in a coma. It moves on to follow their progress as Dean wakes and has to relearn even the most basic tasks. Eventually, Meg and the demons return to make their lives difficult, but there is a happy ending (though Dean never heals fully). (Found in Comments)

3. Dragon Fic - In this, Jared is a mechanist and Jensen is a dragon on the run from a guild that harvests his scales for materials. Jensen is in the form of a human when they meet and Jared doesn't learn that he is a dragon til near the end. (Found in Comments)

4. J2 where Jensen's cousin commits suicide. He begins to implode, struggling with drinking and depression and it is eventually discovered that his uncle had abused both Jensen and his cousin when they were children. (Found in Comments)

5. A/B/O fic - Jensen is the omega of Jared's neighbor (Mark, I think?). Jared meets them as he is considering an omega of his own, however he is concerned about how Jensen is being treated. 6. Last one is a story where Jensen has left acting after Supernatural and is now a driver in an extreme car racing series. I've looked through the tags, and I don't know if I'm overlooking these fics or what. My brain is starting to hurt. *iz stoopid*

1. The first fic I'm looking for is about a de-aged Dean fic (can't for the life of me remember how/why he de-aged)who, for whatever reason, has to die in order to return to his original age in the fic. The only thing I remember clearly is that Sam has to drive de-aged Dean back to the place Dean is supposed to die/de-age. I *think* it was a long fic and that I read it on the author's livejournal.

2. I'm also looking for a fic (gen, pre-show, Wee!chesters) in which Dean gets a brain injury of some sort, and he ends up in ICU because of brain swelling/coma/etc. Sam is around 12 or so and Dean is around 16/17. There's some kind of new treatment for Dean, and John and Sam are airlifted with Dean to the new hospital. The two things I remember most about this one is that, at the new hospital, Dean is in surgery and John somehow manages to see the surgery near an observation area set up for everyone else at the hospital, and there's another scene with angels fighting over what to do with Dean (let him live or die). This may also be the fic where Sam disappears from the hospital, and John finds him at the local library trying to figure out what's going on with Dean (Sam believes Dean's problems is cause by some monster John was hunting and not from any kind of "normal" injury).

I'm hoping these sound familiar to someone. Thanks in advance for any help! :)

I've been looking crazy for this fic I read some time ago. I don't remember much, but I hope that someone can recognize it. Jensen was Jared's ghostly friend (I think Jared thought he was imaginary) like a guardian/friend. He helped Jared with everything and said that when Jared won't need him anymore he will disappear (or something similar). So they got in a fight (don't remember why) and Jared said something along the line that he didn't need Jensen anymore, that he can take care of himself. So Jensen goes *poof*, Jared realizes his mistake and tries to call Jensen back to him, but Jensen doesn't show up, so Jared's devastated. At the same time, Jensen wakes up from a coma he was in and I think he finds Jared or Jared finds him and they make up.

I'm looking for a fic where either Sam or Dean (I'm pretty sure it's Sam...maybe?) has been hit with a spell that puts them in a sleep that can only be broken with true love's kiss...Dean/Sam is embarrassed to realize that his kiss of brotherly love is the one that wakes Sam. I think teasing ensues...? Tone of fic was pretty light, I think.

Not an AU, firmly set in canon with a silly Sleeping Beauty-esque curse.

it's Sam/Cas, and I remember practically the whole thing, but I cannot for the life of me find it! >.>

It was future!fic, and Cas as he was in late s7 was living alone in a little house in the country, where he was a beekeeper. I think the house was yellow but I might be wrong. Sam came to visit him with a balloon for him and he noticed that the gate was off its hinges or something like that. it was really beautifully written and there was some mention of how Sam was comforted by how Cas was always in the same places when he came to visit... He made really bad lemonade with way too much sugar if I remember right, and I think Sam pretended to like it. Cas wanted Sam to stay longer but Sam said he had to visit Dean.

Dean was in the hospital, semi-comatose and possibly paralyzed, unaware that Sam was there, and Sam had to accept that this was never going to change. He hadn't been accepting this until now, but then he did, and he went to live with Cas. And I think there's a scene at the end where he cried in Cas' arms and yeah. It ended on a hopeful note for Sam and Cas (but not for Dean so much).



2. I'm a lot vaguer on this. All I really remember about it is that Sam hated having his hair cut, and the fic involves Dean cutting Sam's hair for him, and Sam crying. It might have been season four and Sam hadn't had a hair cut since Dean was away? Or some other reason, I think Sam hadn't had his hair cut in a while because Dean hadn't been doing it for whatever reason. (it was definitely older than anything where that reason could've been Purgatory, I think no later than s6). I remember Dean was really tender and loving and Sam cries while the haircut happens... It may or may not have been Wincest.

I am looking for a fic I read on Oh Sam! That's an opv in which Sam and Dean r in a hospital, I think Sam is in a coma, any there is a old cat that is protective of them? The nurses take to calling the cat Bobby I think. Anyway at the end if the fic Dean leaves a good-bye note on Sam's pillow, the cat curls up into a ball and dies and the nurse who was taking care of them breaks down. Any clue? Thanks for the help!

I was in the middle of reading this fic and somehow lost the link. It was an AU of sorts (if I'm remembering correctly) to the aftermath of the car crash in Devil's trap. Dean was in a coma and Sam and John are hospitalized as well. I know Bobby was also involved at one point and once Dean was released from the hospital they went to stay with Missouri. I think Dean was also having issues with what the demon said while wearing John. The fic also referenced a scene from Chipping Away by Thru Terry's Eyes. Specific search: For the life of me can't remember the name of the author or the title of the story, but in it, Sam was in a coma for a long time due to a brain injury. I don't remember much else, except that Dean started to realize that Sam was emerging from his almost vegetative state when his eyes started tracking some kind of flashing lights. I'm sorry I don't remember any other specific details except that I believe John was in this story too and had pretty much given up on Sam ever waking again and left Dean to do all the work in caring for Sam.

General search: I'd love to read some stories where Sam is paralyzed, whether it be a permanent condition or not. Any and all recs would be most welcome.

Jensen was in a coma for a long time ( I think several years) and when he wakes up, many things have changed. He and Jared have been together, but after jensen has been in a coma for years, jared started a new relationship. They try to hide that from jensen and jensen has a hard time accepting the new reality.

Ok, I read this fic, so I know it exists! I just can't find it now, which vexes me greatly!

Sam has the ability to astral project and he messes up somehow and becomes disconnected with his body. To all appearances, he's in a coma. Jess calls Dean for help. Dean comes, and Sam possesses both Dean and Jess individually in order to interact with the other. He also uses their bodies to, um, have congress with the other. Eventually they get Sam back in his body.

I really want to re-read this story but I just can't find it again. In it Dean said yes to Michael and I think maybe Sam said yes to Lucifer and died (but maybe not). Dean ends up in a coma and Cas takes care of him in cabin somewhere. Dean wakes up again and he's pissed about something that I can't remember (he might be disabled or something or it might be about Sam). What I do remember is that at the end he wants to say yes to Michael again as he doesn't think Cas really cares about him, but when he comes back to tell Cas, the angel is standing in the kitchen crying and Dean decides to stay with Cas. I also think Michael shows up in the fic and Cas tries to keep him from Dean.

"In the Blink of an Eye" is one of my favorite fics. I'm looking for similar fics where one of the boys wakes up after being in a long-term coma. I'm not picky about which one, but I'm a sucker for hurt!jared. Also, I'd prefer fics where the boys were in an established relationship prior to the coma and the healthy one has started to move on. I am a sucker for angst, so the more drama the better.

You guys were so quick on my last request, I'm asking for another story that's been niggling at the back of my brain.

What I remember is that Sam, Dean, and Castiel had gone into a fight that didn't go well. Dean doesn't entirely seem to remember what's happened, or he's repressing it because he doesn't want to admit to himself that Cas is probably dead and it's his fault. There was possibly something about choosing between saving Sam or Cas, and Castiel offering to stay behind. The story revealed this slowly. Dean was in a coma or at least he was not waking up as he should until they can convince him that Castiel isn't dead. Could be gen or pre-slash.

I've checked the amnesia and hurt!Dean fics, but haven't found anything. Any suggestions would be great.
