I'm looking for the old J2 stories;
1. I think it's based on the movie 'Sunshine' directed by Danny Boyle. In the story, Jared was genius the physicist(played by Cillian Murphy in the movie) and Jensen was the engineer(played by Chris Evans in the film). I'm positive I've read it on AO3 but couldn't find. Have checked movie-remake list but it's not there.

2. It was a sort of non-AU-ish but SPN had ended already, Jared was still doing some movies. Jensen was on a wheelchair after his stunt on the work went wrong. I remember he was running/owning small SFX company, living with his male nurse and nurse's family and boyfriend. Ring any bell?

The first starts with Dean working in a hardware store under an assumed name, he has put on weight and I think he has a bad back. He had a bad argument with John after Sam left for Stanford (I think) and they split. I think John beat him. He meets up with Sam again of course. Can anyone help?

The second story started as Dean/OMC and Dean got cursed by a witch and ends up pregnant, it was a long story. I remember the author based the OMC appearance on some actor but can't remember who. Later the fic was veering towards wincest after Sam and Dean were reunited, not sure if the OMC died or left. I think Dean ended up at Bobby's. I know this is vague, it was a very old fic and I don't think it was finished at the time I read it.

I’m looking for a specific Wincest fic. It had Sam getting hurt during a hunt and getting a brain injury. If I remember correctly, he fell off a balcony when Dean pushed him to “safety”. They quit hunting and Dean looked for a place for them to settle down. The story was mainly about the life after the injury, with Dean working and Sam slowly recovering and learning to live with the disability.

Pretty sure it was Sam/Dean, may have been Jared/Jensen though, Sam was on the run from and abusive partner and had his daughter with him (want to say her name was Emma or Emily but not sure). Dean was a mechanic/salvage, had some kind of chronic pain/injury, Sam might have been a massage therapist? They end up meeting at a diner, and Sam stays with Dean. Pretty sure it was on LJ, think it's fairly old (at least 5yrs). It was AU, pretty sure there were no supernatural elements, the boys weren't related, and it was fairly long. At least 15000 words, probably more.

Dean runs in to a nasty hunt and Sam saves him and takes Dean back to the hotel both were staying at but in different rooms. Cut to morning Dean breaks into Sam’s room and finds Sam’s fake leg.

Hey all, I am losing my mind trying to find this fic for a friend. It's an older AU, Stanford era. Dean has a brain injury from several years ago and when Sam went to college, Dean went with him, he has the mind of about a 12 year old. They have an apartment and Sam helps Dean find a part time job with Bobby cleaning and helping at the garage. Dean also helps Bobby restore an older car, which he is very proud of. Jess takes her car to the garage to get fixed and talks to Dean and Dean goes home to tell Sam that he should date the pretty blonde girl that came in that day. Of course, there are LOTS of pretty blonde girls at Stanford. Eventually, Sam meets Jess on his own and they start dating, which makes Dean very happy since he has decided that it was because of him.

For the J2 au, Jared was kept in some kind of government institution against his will. I don't know if he had ever been outside. Jensen goes to work at the facility (perhaps as an intern?) and JDM might be his supervisor. Jensen bonds with Jared and eventually realizes that it is wrong for Jared to be kept a prisoner. Jensen helps Jared escape (and perhaps tries to get them to Jensen's parents for help). It is not Dream Him Free or To Dream, Perchance to Live. They were teens or early twenties at most in the story.

The "monster" turns out to be a human male who disguises himself as a creature and intentionally scares a young girl badly enough that she falls into the sea. Sam dives in to save her and he ends up smashed into some rocks by the waves and damamging (permanently?) an appendage (I think it was his hand/arm). He has to cling to the rocks and be pulled out. The girl is very much a human and believed in the monster, which is why she got scared and ran from it. The person who disguised himself as the monster had no remorse for their predicament. It is not O sea-starved.

Any help would be appreciated.

All I remember about the fic is that either sam or jared were mentally challenged and that they ended up going to court vs. their father , and during the trial is stated that if their father didn't keep them in a simple mindset that they would have been able to have been mentally competent for their age and have had a normal life. I think it was J2 or Sam/Dean but no incest!!!

I am looking for any fics where Sam has been kidnapped by someone and then when he is found, he has to go through some sort of therapy - physical therapy, counselling, things like having to learn something again - because of the trauma he went through during the time he was kidnapped or because of an injury. It is the aftermath that I am particularly interested in, and is why I am asking for something with Sam having to have treatment of a certain kind.

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a fic whose title I cannot remember that, if I recall correctly, took place some time after the events of S05E03 "Free to Be You and Me," when Dean told Sam to "pick a hemisphere" after they had learned they were Michael and Lucifer's vessels. I guess it would be considered canon-divergent since Sam and Dean end up not reconciling or getting back together for a year or two, when they accidentally end up on the same hunt-- I think they might have been hunting a vengeful spirit in a barn or something? But the hunt was only a brief part of the story.

Anyway, during the hunt, Sam saves Dean from getting killed, I think, but Dean is still badly hurt, so Sam drives him back to the motel where they both happened to be staying and patches him up. On the way, Dean starts getting curious when he notices Sam's limp, which only becomes stronger when Sam goes out of his way to avoid talking about it, so Dean ended up sneaking into Sam's motel room the next day and saw Sam's prosthetic leg laying on the bed right before Sam came out of the shower. Dean was so shocked he threw up, and Sam ended up explaining that he had been hurt on a hunt (I think?) and had to have his right leg amputated, but didn't call Dean because he didn't think Dean wanted anything to do with him. Dean suggests that they start hunting together as brothers again, but Sam is conflicted because Lucifer has been making his phantom pains worse or something in an effort to force Sam to say "yes" to him, and he's afraid he'll eventually give in to relief the agony, I think?

I'm pretty sure that was more or less it as far as the story goes-- I am almost positive it was a one-shot, and that it was written in third person but in Dean's point of view. If I recall correctly, I read it in a Supernatural community here on LJ, but I'm having no luck whatsoever in tracking it down in any of the comms I belong to, and I didn't see it in the relevant tags here, either, so I don't know if its just been deleted or moved to a different site or what. If anyone can help me out in finding it, I would be so grateful! This is my first post here, so I'm hoping I did everything correctly.

Okay, so I've been diligently looking for this story for almost a week now and I cannot believe my google-fu and tag browsing has finally failed me! Hopefully the wonderful, helpful folks in this community will be able to save me from pulling my hair out in frustration!


I cannot remember for the life of me if this was wincest or if they're just really, really close gen. Almost positive I read this on LJ somewhere and it's quite a long fic. Very, very high level - Sam is injured in a fall from a building during what should have been a routine hunt with Dean. He falls several stories and fractures his skull when he lands. This results in some permanent damage to his mobility and, I think, his speech. The story is about the progress of his recovery with Dean's support. A couple of specific details that I do remember are a bit spoilery, so...

Dean is cold to Sam for the first year of recovery (in Sam's perspective) and Sam thinks Dean hates him now. We find out that it's because Dean feels horribly guilty about the accident. He let Sam lead in on the hunt because he thought it would be an easy one and he had been afraid that Sam was about to leave him. He wanted Sam to feel like he was taking the lead more often and was a necessary part of the team, so he deliberately hung back and a second monster/baddie of the week took Sam by surprise and knocked him off the building instead.

Does anyone know the fic I'm looking for? It was absolutely awesome and I can't believe I was such an idiot and didn't bookmark it!

Hello! I'm looking for this one fic I read a while ago, but I can't quite remember the name.

Dean and Cas were in their late teens, and their families met up every year near the beach (I think it was Florida). In years before, Cas had been more quiet in his dress and he had a girlfriend the year previously, but when Dean sees him this year, he's basically gone goth.Sam hangs out with Cas's younger sibling, and Cas takes Dean out to the park on his motorcycle (I think that Cas called Dean princess or something) until they come home when Dean falls asleep. Cas's mom talks to John about Mary who Dean and Sam never talk about. Dean was in the car accident with Mary. Mary died but Dean has an artificial foot, which he is very self conscience about. John takes him to the beach, and Dean and Cas go swimming.

I think it was about three chapters. Does anyone know this?

I'm looking to re-read a long series of fic. The main fic was dean/cas in the future after some type of apocalypse type-thing. Dean and Cas had a farm house outside of a small town and were raising Ben Braeden (possibly Dean had tried to save Ben and Lisa, but Lisa died under a collapsed staircase, that might be a different story, though). Gas and medicines are at a premium, so Baby is only brought out for special occasions while Dean does small jobs around town and small hunt jobs in the local area. Dean may have had a leg/knee injury. A couple of kids are taken in by Dean and Cas (one was dropped off by her dad in a station wagon because it was wasteful to feed a girl, he kept his sons and left her behind) and Sam shows up and stays, there are issues between him and Dean and him and Ben. Eventually in the series Sam and Dean make up, Sam dates and marries a local girl and things aren't so bad. Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm looking for a particular fic where Dean is paralyzed from waist below (because of a hunt went wrong or because of the fire that killed his mom or whatever), which made people (especially hunters and supernatural creatures) thought he's not capable to hunt (a useless kid in dangerous, crazy world) and always told him to stop hunting and get an apple pie life. But, to their unknowledge, Dean is actually a genius in thinking out-of-the-box and he created many bizzare ways that allowed him to hunt (I remember that one where he composed a song by using demon exorcism spell as its lyrics so he could silently kick the demons away when he's in a bar without making the demons suspicious and didn't make the normal people think he's crazy, that's so bizzarely genius and Gabriel worthy).

Please help me to looking for this fic!

Oh, and I also would like another fics with the same plot like above (a disable but genius dean fic).

I don't mind if the fic is Gen or slash but if there's sex scene I want bottom!Dean only.

A while ago I read a fic where Sam was brain damaged (possibly from a hunt or an accident) and Dean may have been his primary caregiver. I believe this story may have been a teenchester and John may have been absent.

Sam eventually recovered enough that he was released into Dean's care and Dean adjusts to taking care of his disabled brother. Eventually, Sam dies and that's how the story ended. The author did provide an alternate ending in which Sam was struck by a drunk driver and he was further handicapped.

Some other details in the story involve Dean and one of Sam's therapist falling in love and Sam subsequently gives a speech at their wedding.
