Powers!Dean But Vulnerable

Um...lemme see guys.  I see lots of stories around here all the time that have Dean pretty much BAMF with powers, but I'd sort of like to see him as...well BAMF but with some vulnerabilities because of those powers.  That make sense? O.o  I prefer Destiel, but Wincest is okay as a last resort.  As always, the longer you can get me the better. ^^  Bonus for protective Cas or if it's Wincest I suppose protective Sam..or Cas and Sam. XP  Don't even mind Bobby thrown in there as I love his fatherly love for the idjits. Thanks everybody whether you can help me out or not. :)

Its weird.  I want BAMF Dean that's smart...and yet I want Cas or Sam...which ever the pairing may be to be uber possessive (in the non dub/con sense) and totally protective.

Hm...so BAMF!Powers!Dean but not invulnerable, how about Undertow (http://tolakasa.livejournal.com/12242.html)? It's gen, set in s2, and has awesome protective Sammy 'cause of course Dean gets himself into trouble.

Not sure if this fits your idea of powers, but...

I'm working on a Skinwalker Dean verse, so far there's two fics finished in the series, just have to finish writing the third one.

Skinwalker Dean verse
Shortly after John Winchester lost his wife to demons, he lost his oldest son to a Skinwalker. Now, twelve years later, he's hunted down every single Skinwalker he could find and killed them, unaware that his oldest is still alive. That the monster that took his child hadn't taken his life, just his humanity. That she'd turned his child on the command of a human slave ring that traded in Skinwalker children. Dean ended up saved and raised by the Hunter Bobby Singer, but what's a young pup to do when his foster father goes missing and the only one who can help him find him, is a Hunter who despises his kind and would kill him on the spot?


the first one is basically a prequel that shows how Dean ended up with Bobby.

Right off the bat I'm going to say that this isn't the kind of fic you requested, in fact it's pretty much the exact opposite in the beginning, but I think you would enjoy it.

Dean is the very shy 'normal' son of the superhero couple Captain Freedom and Laser. His younger brother is the superhero, Prophet. Then he gets kidnapped by an evil supervillian and comes into his own. Here is a little snippit.

'Dear, sweet' his ass. He was totally a BAMF. Wasn't a fighting skill he hadn't mastered, he had an IQ every bit as big as his brother's (even if he was more modest about throwing the genius label around) and he could absolutely, completely take care of himself! Okay, so he had one fatal weakness. He could absolutely, positively kick the ass of whatever villain tried to (insert horrific threat to his virginity, limbs, life, whatever here), but he had a problem dealing with … people. Hey, tower! Locked up! Isolated! Okay, okay, so they never let him go outside to play alone and he was ridiculously shy. He was really badass in his head. Totally! And he really could maim someone with a blade of grass if need be … if he could manage to look them in the eye.
