Ha ha, I pretty much have the exact opposite tastes of the OP (bottom!Jared all the way!), so this correction is also incredibly helpful to ME. Thanks!

From memory (which may be faulty, caveat), Doors is bottom!jensen, and we were here is homeless!jensen&jared, with some hooking to survive - any sex not super graphic, I believe. More Jensen than jared (Jared is younger). With each other, doesn't really get that far, but I recall a more possessive vibe from Jared (so hints for future toppy jared?) it is definitely hurt!jared, however, so the requester may wish to avoid. One of my favs, though!

Haven't read the other two (yet?) so perhaps someone can advise...

and the PUNZEL 'verse by compo67 is one of my favorite J2 stories - it's not exactly what you asked for, with the hurt!Jensen and the toppy Jared - Jensen's usually the top, although Jared makes a toppy bottom. And it's not even really J2, except for the names. This is mpreg (although not alpha/omega), which usually squicks me a little, but this one is so funny and so true to life (and so accurate in terms of what it takes to go thru a pregnancy). Jensen rescues Jared from an abusive situation, but Jared rescues Jensen from an emotionally distant, unengaged life. Not really our boys at all - but I could SO see Jared and Jensen playing these roles in this story, maybe in a Hallmark Channel movie? This story makes the whole world brighter. Plus: Castiel married to Jeffrey Dean Morgan! (who's a drag queen - OK, this is way far from canon - but it all makes sense, I promise.)

Oh! I remembered another one - Tabaqui's The World Where Yesternight You Died - AU, still a WIP, but she's updating it regularly (although it's a nailbiter right now, so not quite fast enough!) I think this one has, or will have, the Jared/Jensen dynamic you're looking for. (Jensen is so pitiful in the latest chapters. *sniff*)

In the year 2294, Jensen is an elite soldier - an ArchANGEL, known and feared through the 'verse. Jared is an indentured 'employee' of the Company, indebted for his life and his continuing health and happiness.
They are both living with secrets that will cause their lives to intersect, and put them both on the path to exposing one of the biggest cover-ups in the 'verse.
