Dean/Castiel fics from 2010 - now, general search

I haven't read a single fic since March 2010. I know! You guys would do me a huge favour if you'd rec me some of the fics that you loved over the last two years.

Any genre from crack to death fic is fine except fluff/overly saccharine fics and Sam/Gabriel. Oh, Jensen/Misha fic would be most welcome, too.

1. I just finished reading Derry's Take a Long Line and I'm in a serious mood for fics where Sam and Dean work amazingly well together. Particularly fics that showcase them pulling off mind-blowing stunts/schemes because they're so very in sync with one another. ♥

2. Fics where Castiel and/or Gabriel (either together or alongside Sam and Dean) work really well together are also welcome. 

I'm totally okay with both gen or any slash pairing (for both requests). No het, please, unless it's of the gen-ish variety. Pre-series fics and an AUs are also a-ok. Thanks in advance!

I don't think it would hurt for a little reminder of tagging or really what to tag for.

We don't want over tagging for the sheer reason it can A) Clog up tags that aren't necessarily related to the request and B) A long stream of tags can really mess with people's friends pages when they view them.

So what we generally ask is tag for what you INSIST on not what you are ok with. So, if you have a general search for some Jared/Jensen cowboy stories. And you INSIST on the pairing of Jared/Jensen and nothing else. Then tag that, if you're ok with whoever bottoms, if one is the cowboy and not the other or you're ok with short stories or long ones. State that in your request but don't tag it as such, because if you state ahead of time what you are ok with then people will know.

Think of it this way. If you go searching through the warning: abused!dean (emotional) and you click on a post that has it tagged but then you notice the comments the post received or the post itself has nothing specifically to do with the tag, you'd be kind of bummed out. Because it was something the poster was ok with but not a requirement for their inquiries.

So you see trying to follow this line of thought when tagging better improves the organization of the tags themselves and better help you find what you're looking for.

Could someone please kindly recommend some dark, disturbing, and dirty J2 or wincest? I'm in the mood for something really disturbing but compelling, those fics that deal that you just can't stop reading and feel guilty for being so entangled into the complete wrongness of the boys' lives.

Mainly looking for the kind of fics were the boys are completely screwed up and willing to do whatever and are completely unapologetic for it.

Don't care who tops or bottoms, if there are other pairings, or length, so long as it's well-written, just NC-17 or approaching, please.

Wincest Fic

Hey, I'm looking for a Sam/Dean fic where Dean bonds his soul to Sam's- after Sam nearly dies or something- because he thought nobody would buy his soul when he tried to sell it for Sam's life. On doing so he realizes that Sam can hear his thoughts, so he travels the furthest he can get away from Sam to try to put distance between them, and then later when he nearly dies on a hunt he realizes he can't die or Sam will, too. Somehow his near-death prompts Sam to finally get him and persuade him to come back.

I think the line of this story that stuck out to me the most is Dean thinking he can't ever go home. If anyone could give me the link to this fic again, I'd be really grateful! :>

I read this fic forever ago. I cant even remember what it's really about but at some point Dean is thinking about Missouri and says (in his head) something along the lines of 'even his dads friends hate him'. Ive tried google and I must not be getting the exact quote right because I can't find it and any help would be appreciated.

Actually any fics where it is addressed that Missouri or any other character not liking Dean and him blaming himself for it. Or Dean thinking his dad hates/dislikes him. Any pairing or gen.

I don't think I've read many fics about Season 4!Sam: I can't recall any, at any rate. Now, those fics must exist somewhere, and I'd love to read them!

I’ll gladly read Sam thinking he knows what he’s doing with Ruby and twisting their relationship around in his head to something consensual, but I’m a firm believer that canon Ruby/Sam is noncon. Sam being presented as being in complete control of his relationship with Ruby is not my cup of tea.

In that vein, I’m not keen on eroticised or graphic Ruby/Sam unless it’s adding to the creepy/angsty/plotty factor.

Any fics that fill the gap between seasons 3 & 4 would be wonderful.

For both: gencest preferred, Sam/Dean tolerated, noncon Ruby/Sam is love :)

wincest, tree spirits, future being seen

Hey guys!

So there's a fic somewhere around here that I can't seem to find. I don't rememeber the title, but I do remember that its wincest. The boys are hunting something in the woods, and I think they ganked it since Dean/Sam ended up hurt. They're walking back to the Impala and a tree spirit appears and shows them their future. Dean is totally in denial of it because it has them together and Dean is freaking out over that (its not an established relationship fic; more like a slow development fic?). Sam tries to find other tree spirits to ask them... something...  over the course of the fic (behind Dean's back I believe) and then the one time he succeeds he is attacked by the monster Dean and Sam were trying to gank in that town. Eventually, Sam and Dean get together and they end up in a diner, looking at a newspaper, and they freeze and are all like, we've made it to this point and this is kind of something that the first tree spirit showed us, lets make our own decisions yadda yadda etc. and thats how it ends...

Please help! I'd greatly appreciate it!
