Recently, I read a piece of wincest in which Sam played a violin. I really liked the idea! I went through old requests on here for them playing instruments, and haven't found much. Does anyone have anything else?

My only request in this is that it not be a guitar or a piano. Those are the bulk of what I've found.

self-consious Jensen

Hi guys! I'm feeling kind of down today so I could use a good pick me up. I'd love to read some high school or college J2 AU's or non-AU's where Jensen is quiet, shy, self-conscious and has a low self esteem, but is unknowingly adorable. He could be self-conscious about anything, but I'd be really happy if he was self-conscious about his looks and/or artistic talents. And by artistic talents I mean it'd be awesome if he was a musician, artist, and/or writer but doesn't feel like he's any good at it and is constantly worried about what people think of him. And if Jared comes into the picture and comforts and encourages him well then that would be just perfect! No pre-established relationship fics, in fact, some pinning on Jensen's end would be awesome. Angst is great, but I need happy endings with lots of schmoop please. No WIPs, but self-recs are welcomed. Thank you!

Motoque deleted fic

So, I have a feeling that this fic was deleted a while ago, but on the off chance that someone has it, I'm asking here.

The end of the world is here, and Sam and Dean are searching through the destruction and chaos for signs of life. While Dean tries desperately to hold onto his brother, Sam holds tightly to what little beauty is still left in the world.

As far as I can remember, it was post apocalyptic and Sam played every piano he came across. I don't think he was quite right either, but mostly I remember the pianos.

Musical/singing Dean stories

Was reading something last night which made me think of this request... Are there any fics out there that involve Dean singing or playing a musical instrument? Doesn't have to be a major focus of the story. Could be set when the boys were children (in fact, Dean singing to Sam would be adorable) or as adults. I don't really have any other criteria - I just want to read something that has Dean singing, although I'd love it if he was singing well and maybe making money from it - busking, whatever. Also will be happy with Dean having and demonstrating other musical talent such as playing an instrument or writing music. Frustrated musician angst would be delightful. Not bothered whether it's slash or gen but no het please (unless it's super terrifically well written).

Dancing Dean (hidden talents) &fics focused on looks

I've just finished a fic where Sam gets Dean to try out for American Idol. It got me thinking about Dean have a special talent. I've read a lot of fics in the past where Jensen or Jared are dancers or at least can dance. Are there any out there where Dean is the one dancing? I'll take any kind of special/hiddentalent!Dean fics you've got. If it's Sam who has the talent and maybe Dean encouraging or discovering it, I'll take that too.

( Concerning 7.01 but not really a spoiler... )
There also been a lot of talk after 7.01 about how shaggy Dean's hair was in the episode (YAY! XD). Any fics that deal with something like that? Dean growing/changing his hair? Or maybe the boys having to change how they look for a job or to stay hidden from the FBI?

looking for a specific J2 fic

I thought it was Zubenfic, but it doesn't seem to be; I think I was conflating it with her airport-'verse. The story I'm looking for is a cute little thing that was apparently based on the author's own experience on the plane ride from hell - she made it all better in the fic with cute boys and flirting via iPod selections.

I remember particularly that the song "(If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To" was included.

Does anyone have a clue what I'm talking about?

I'm looking for a specific fic. I believe it's J2, where jensen is a violinist and jared was a cellist in a city orchestera and they go to the same school. Jared is a freshman and jensen is a senior, and when jensefinds out he tries to break up with him.

Punk/Goth/Mod HS Wincest?

1. I have read a couple J2 fics that feature Jensen as Goth or Punk. What I am wondering is if there are any high school fics that feature DEAN as Punk, Goth, Tattooed, pierced, mod, etc. Essentially really into the music of the scene or just the fashion. I am looking for Wincest, but if there is a particularly good Gen story I'm open to that as well.

2. Failing that, please rec me your favorite Punk, Goth or Mod Jensen Fics. (J2 only please)

Lost J2 band!AU

Hi guys, would anyone know how I'd be able to get hold of The Kennedy Curse by

buttoneddown? I found the link on a J2 Recs list but the link is broken and I can't find it on her journal. At the time of the list being made it was a WIP. If someone has it, that would be epic. There wasn't an anuthor given summery but it's a band AU and the rec list summery was:

Dean's tape collection of win

So I'm back!! This time with a general and specific fic search :D

1. So, I'm looking for fics that focus on Dean's taste in music. I know that this issue comes up in most fics but I'm really craving something that has scenes like Dean drumming on the steering wheel, singing loudly (and awesomely, but I really don't care if it says he's a horrible singer), and just rocking out in the driver's seat and being Dean *-* Maybe scenes where they argue over music or something where maybe Sam finds Dean's tapes in the Impala after his Deal comes to a close and he listens to it etc? I also sorta want something like, In the Days of Sam and Dean, them on the highway and passing the time with car games, music, and ribbing each other; scenes like the one in the beginning of 'Hell House' would be AWESOME :D

I really miss the old days, where our only worries were visions and the yed, where the boys were just... brothers. I guess I meshed up two requests in one, but seriously, anything where Dean is rocking out to his music, and the boys just going from case to case being them is much appreciated. Gimme Led Zeppelin and Metallica and I will marry you *-*

Considering what I'm asking, I don't think that pairings will really be an issue here, but just in case: Gen and wincest only. Please, no het :3

2. This one is driving me crazy trying to find it. It's one of those Raised-apart fics (Sam was adopted by rich parents and I think I remember Dean telling Sam that his family was killed in a fire and he has this sort of, phobia of fire? There was a scene with a bonfire and Sam notices Dean freaking out.) Dean is a new teacher at Sam's private school and Sam starts going in for tutoring even though he's like, the smartest kid there and Dean knows this and calls him on it. They end up getting together and they also meet up over break at this fancy hotel (Sam pays for it cause his family is filthy rich) and Dean finds out Sam left home without telling anyone. I remember Sam telling Dean something about how him and his dad have a bad relationship and that it possibly had something to do with his mom dying? I also remember something about Sam speaking Spanish??

Dancing to Lady Gaga?

I'm pretty sure it was an actual fic and not just a figment of my imagination, but I remember reading a story where one of the Js or Sam or Dean (IDK) was dancing to Lady Gaga - pretty sure it was Sam or Dean as they were in a motel room - and the other catches them at it ~~and kinda likes it a lot~~.

I went through the 'dancing boys' tag to no avail.

1. I was watching Tall Tales last night and I was wondering, who gave Sam that money clip with his initials? I'm thinking it was Dean.

2. I was downstairs today cleaning the kitchen when I told my little brother to put some music on, he put his ipod on and decided to switch it to Heat of the Moment, I burst out laughing then thought huh, wonder if there's any fics where Sam hears that song and loses it, breaks down crying or just gets really scared and angry.

So I think I read a J2 story a long time ago that was based on the anime Gravitation. Jensen was in the role of Yuki I'm pretty sure. I just remember the scene where Jensen reads Jared's lyrics and insults them or something. Sorry for such a terrible description!

Sam with random talents!

Hi all! Me again! I was wondering if there are any fics out there where Sam has random talents that Dean finds out about. I'm thinking like being able to sing (This one would be awesome!), being able to play the piano, being able to draw......something like that. I also would like fics where Sam uses these talents as an escape to deal with his hard life (especially with abusive John, with Dean finding out about that too) and if Sam is shy about this talent but encourage by Dean that's also cool.

Please no death fics or anything! Happy endings!

J2 with Chad

I have a couple more requests.
1. J2 at a beach house and Chad is going to stop by. Jensen is upset and thinks Chad is trying to break them up. Jared doesn't believe them. Jensen cries and then Jared shows up saying he was right Chad kissed him. He punched Chad and sent him away. Ring any bells?
2. A Love That Will Last by dean_stalker. It is older and the author has deleted and purged journal so I am wondering if there are copies anywhere or anything. It is about the boys in a band and getting together for the first time.
