I read a fic before where the brothers or J2 were hired men who dealt with ghosts and probably the memories of ghosts by doing some blood ritual.

Some details in the fic said that their souls are in their blood and i think they were trying to work some information out of nick?

I have a feeling that it was eithder here on LJ or FF and it was Sam and Dean, but im not so sure
