With all the stories out there that mention Sam/Jared being so much taller/biger than Dean/Jensen and the fact that with those big eyes and baby face he just looks younger, I started craving some fic.


1) Any stories where an outsider mistakes Dean as the younger brother.  Bouns points if John or Sam incourage the  mistake much to Dean's horror.

2) Any stories where John intentionaly lies about Dean's age.   They are on the run so John is trying to cover their tracks or  maybe to keep him in school longer to be there for Sam.  Heck maybe because it is cheaper to eat/stay somewhere if the kids are under 12. 

3)  Anything where John colors the boys hair/ changes the cut  to change their discriptions.  I just can't see Dean always with a buzz cut, plus this would explain why some of the younger Winchester pictures show  Sam with blonde hair and Dean with dark/black hair.

4) While researching their history after the demon is killed They learn that Dean is actually younger than he thought.  John has started the lie to keep head of child services and John had made Dean a year older and Sam a year younger. 

I am looking for any fic of that rarest of genres - RPF Gen. That's right stories about Jared and Jensen that are not slash, or contain any other slash pairings. I'll take fics labelled pre-slash as well.

I'm looking for a (probably) Wincesty story, where Sam is only grudgingly trusted by hunters (something to do with his psychic abilities/BUaBS/AHBL?). Only thing I'm sure of is a witch tells Dean she's going to teach him how to cook, and that Sam can't learn because it's only one step from there to creating magic spells (with dark magic implied).

It's times like these that I curse the fact that I get lazy when I read a good fic and don't save it! I'm hoping someone can help me out here, cos I'm going crazy!
It's a fic where Sam and Dean go to an abandoned carnival or funhouse or something, and something begins to take over Dean's form. He starts forgetting things, like which car is theirs, their hotel room etc and Sam finds that he's been writing down information on scraps of paper to remember everything...until eventually the something else is inside Dean and Sam has to go underground to find some kind of mirror to get Dean back? I think?
If anyone knows what I'm talking about with my garbled description I'll be eternally thankful!

Has anyone come across any fics that involve Jensen's character Priestly (from Ten Inch Hero). Someone mentioned the existence of Priestly (and possibly an SPN/Priestly crossover) fics, but I have yet to see any.

ok, so i'm looking for fics that just tear your heart up and make cry. like serious angst and self doubt and shitty situations. that feeling you had during the final scene of heart? thats what i'm looking for. there are sorta of two separate requests though:

1) upset!sam is one. especially if, like in heart, dean is about to fall apart because he's watching sam deal with some tough shit. (no wincest please!)

2) insecure!jensen. i read catch release by rejeneration and fell in love with insecure!jensen and confident!jared. i will, however, be happy to read insecure!jared as well.

I'm leaving for Alaska in a week, and it's a loooonnnnng flight, so I'm looking for some good reading material to keep me company.  I've got plenty of slash saved, but there's a really good chance I'll wind up sitting next to my dad or stepmom, and there's just NO way I'm gonna try to explain my porny habits to them.  I'm looking for recs for gen fic----long, angsty or funny, heavy on plot and/or mythology, RPF, Winchesters, crossovers are all welcome.  You know, if this fandom weren't so damn prolific, I'd probably get to read a lot more gen ;) 

Anyone know of any J2 or wincest fics where Dean or Jensen gains weight? Bonus if Sam/Jared has to help him lose it. (Gen recs are welcome too but I'd prefer wincest.)
