I recently read Ambush (gen) by Rachelly on fanfiction.net.  In the story, hunters go after Sam because they believe that he is supernatural, one of the demon's soldiers.  ( More about the story. )  I'm looking for more stories like this.  Any story where hunters go after Sam because they believe he knows the demon's plans to bring on the apocolipse or that he will turn evil.  Specifically, stories like this that have a Sam/Dean pairing.  I haven't actually found any, so I'm hoping you guys could help me out.  If not, gen is totally fine with me.  The longer the story, the better.  Protective, big brother Dean is a must.  Bonus if Sam has and uses his powers in the story; double bonus Sam uses them to somehow save Dean; triple bonus if the story has Bobby.  AUs are fine.  Self-recs are more than welcome.  Complete stories only, please.

at the moment I'm so sick of weak!Dean in the show and in fics. Please can someone point me to Fics with a really kick-ass Dean? And awesome big brother Dean.
It doesn't matter if its wincest or gen. If it's winchest I would prefer bottom!Sam but it don't have to be.  The main thing is that there is strong and metally stable Dean.
So please give me something to read!

I'd love to read some.  Any fandom, I don't care if I'm unfamiliar: gen, wincest, J2.    I'd prefer actual crossovers rather than AUs with the boys in those universes- but if you think they're really fabulous, rec 'em anyway.

Hiya! I re-watched season 1 (hearts!) and just saw the episode The Benders (crazy people!). Anyways, now I'm in the mood for some Sam in trouble fics. Ones where he's kidnapped, hostage, or just plain unlucky (humour is fun!)
I don't mind wincest, though I prefer gen, and would love some wee!cester!

My only real stipulation is I don't want gratuitous angst. A little is alright, but the ones where they just happened to have a big fight beforehand, and than John or Dean are like "oh! How could I be so horrible to Sam! I'm a bad bad person" aren't my favourite, mostly because it feels too convenient! But that may be just me =^.^=

I started to read this fic a while ago, but lost it. It was a WIP and was based on Sam being bitten by a Warewolf when he was younger. To stop the transformation, John gave him an amulet, but when Sam gets taken by the Benders, they strip him of it, and problems and panic ensues. Does anyone know what I talking about?? PLease help!

# 2a I remember one fic in particular, where Jensen had an on-off-relationship with Chris. If I remember correctly Jared was Jensens best friend and very protective of him, and he disliked Chris for not treating Jen right ... I think he even punched him once. But I´m pretty sure it had a happy end (a happy Chris/Jensen-end, I meant). Somebody know what I´m talking about?

i had this really insane dream last night where Dean went into a tattoo place and got all of these tattoo's in all sorts of weird places, and they were really painful for him to get. So, I was wondering if there were any tattoo fics out their that were either about one of the Winchester's or one of the J's getting a tattoo, and while they were getting the tattoo, it was really painful.

I know this is a very long shot, but I'm trying to track down a J2, non-AU and the only parts I can remember are that the guys fall asleep together on the couch, and when they wake up hours later in each others arms and Jensen tries to get up, all Jared says is "Stay" and Jensen does - they go back to sleep.  Next morning in the kitchen Jared comments on how much energy Jensen has and Jensen says it's because he slept so well (with Jared).  Things progress from there rapidly but I don't remember if it goes NC-17 or not.

I realize that isn't much to go on, so if you have any other J2 spending the night together on the couch recs (non-AU, please)  I'll be delighted with those, too.  Thanks!

Hey, sorry to bother everyone, but I was hoping someone could help me out. I'm looking for a fic where Dean is in danger from Sam so Castiel hides him. He is sent to an old woman/witch that lives in a house that has 5 sides. I also think there was some type of celtic ghost that lives there as well that makes a protection charm for Dean out of one of her special/mystical hounds that dies protecting them. Another thing I remember is that the old woman/witch made Dean and Cas some ugly apparel that she knitted for them and Dean remarks that is she can get an angel to wear something that ugly she must be powerful. Or something to that extent. lol. Again, sorry for the vagueness, I had thought I bookmarked this, but...

I just read Raising a Big Brother 'Verse by Nebula (awesome!) and it made me start craving some young Sammy fics. Specifically ones where he's experiencing the supernatural in some way. (a hunt, meeting up with a ghost, his teachers possessed... anything of the like). Let's see how well he reacts to the unexpected!

1)Because I've seen so many low self esteem Jensen/Dean, I'm wondering if there's fics where Jared or Sam has low self-esteem, but maybe others don't really see it BUT Jensen/Dean/someone does?

I would love to see a fic where Jared or Sam avoids mirrors because they don't like looking at themselves? Any recs?

It's an AU where Sam has a fight with John about going to Stanford, and Sam asks Dean to come with him, and Dean says yes.

It's a series, and it's basically about Dean taking care of Sam while they find an apartment, Sam starts going to classes, etc. Dean learns to cook and gets him a bike, that sort of thing. It becomes wincest along the way.

I guess you can say it's pretty schmoopy, because of how much Dean loves being able to take care of Sam, but that's what I'm in the mood to read at the moment.

I'm looking for any fics in which both boys(Sam, dean or Jared, Jen) conspire together keep a secret from friends, family(John), other hunters, etc. The more angst keeping the secret causes the boys, the better. The bigger or worse the secret is, the better.Bonus points for secrets that would negatively effect Sam/Jared if found out and for Sam centric fics in general. I'll also take fics in which they're keeping a secret(s) from one another. I'd prefer Sam/Jared to be the one keeping the secret but thats not a requirement.

No cheating(unless it's Sam/Jared who's cheating) or deathfics.

Everything else is welcome.

Okay, I am a bit picky about my Mpreg that I read.

I am not fond of stories that make mention that other men have been pregnant before. I want Jared, Jensen, Sam, or Dean to be the only case reported. They have to keep it a secret for as long as possible.

If a SPN fic, it doesn't have to be slash, but if J2, yes please :D

And I would prefer complete fics or ones that are too awesome to not read.

I've seen quite a bit of Mpreg posted, but I don't have the time to read until I find out if it fits with what I like :)

I was reading two fics recently and started reading something else and now can't find them because I can't remember the titles.

1. Jensen is with Dean and Sam and has feelings for Dean. I believe he has some powers and Dean has feelings for Jensen but doesn't want to act on them.

2. Jensen is I believe in a relationship with Jared. Jensen is an agoraphobic writer and when Jared goes away for some time someone breaks in.

That's all I know of the both of them. Any other recs on stories similar to them would be great. Thank you in advance. You are all great.
