I'm looking for a specific fic I read not that long ago that I lost the link to. I was going to rec it to a friend. I think it was a big bang fic. It was gen and written like interviews with all the characters, telling the story of how the end of the world war went. It may have even been called something like An Oral History of the End Times War. I think that's very close, anyway. I have no idea who wrote it, but if anyone remembers and could point me that way, I'd be grateful.

Hello all! I have a couple of requests and was wondering if anyone could help me.

The specific fic I'm looking for was set in the 50's or something. Jensen was a greaser, you could say. He lived in an abandoned train yard with a lot of buddies. Jared was a prep, who was friends with Chad and Chad got into trouble with the greaser group for not bringing money to some pot deal or whatever. Jared saved him and sees Jensen and basically becomes entranced by him. He keeps coming around and Jensen and Jared eventually become friends, then lovers. It was a multi-chapter fic, but it wasn't finished. I was also wondering if it's a WIP or if the author has stopped writing it because when I had read it, it had been a little while since it had been updated. It was really good, and even if it isn't going to be finished, I'd still like to re-read it.

I've looked through the high school tags and through a lot of the au: real person tags, but I couldn't find what I was looking for. I'm looking for J2 fics set in the 50's or earlier, where poodle skirts were the "it" thing and people said "swell". Just like A Certain Smile by elise_509. I totally don't care if there's other pairings as long as the J-team ends up being together. Angst, schmoop, G to NC-17, whatever! If you've got it, I want it.

I don't know why I'm craving these fics, but it's best not to ask. So I'm hoping you guys can help me quench this thirst! Thanks so much in advance! :D

I'm looking for a particular J2 fic. It starts off with oblivious!Jared with hints of possibly!pining!Jensen, and I seem to recall that it's told from Jared's pov, and that the fic (I think) spans a few months, possibly even a year.

I can't quite remember what happens in the middle, unfortunately. However, I believe Jensen winds up going back to his home in Texas. The fic finishes with Jared visiting Jensen at the latter's home, and encounters most of Jensen's family (I think this might have been during some holiday season, possibly Christmas, which was why Jensen's various family members were there) before he meets Jensen himself. They finally get together, and that's where the fic ends.

I also seem to recall that this fic was posted in two parts (and that the LJ I read it on had a light blue background, though I suppose this might have changed), but my memory might be playing tricks on me.

1. A "civilian" finds out Dean really went to Hell. (Particularly outsider POV.)

2. Dean's cursed or something to be touchy-feely or talk about his feelings, but no wincest.

3. Dean and Sam (and/or John) appear to be bad guys (more so than usual), like in Nightshifter where they're holding people hostage. I want the appearance of dark Winchesters, not actually dark Winchesters.

I would be extra thrilled for any of these in casefics!

Okay, here's the deal. I'm sick. I'm depressed. I'm bored as hell. And the worst of all, I have PMS and no sweets (including chocolate). This is my cry for help!

Looking for a story in which Dean is in New Orleans soon after Hurricane Katrina? I don't remember too much, but there was a lot of description of the destruction. I think he went there to work a case, but I'm not sure that he ever got around to it because of the disaster. That's all I've got. Thanks.

ETA: I should have said that Dean was the only Winchester there: John wasn't in it and Sam was at Stanford. It might have been the case that Dean mentions to Sam in the Pilot?
