Hey, y'all :) I've been so terribly out of the loop when it comes to fandom in general lately, so I have a really, really general request today:

In the past few months, what good, long (20k+ w.c.) fics have ya'll been reading? Anything you throw at me would be so greatly appreciated. I've missed way too much.

And a bit of a semi-specific request: Are there any Friday Night Lights/SPN crossovers? Or, Taylor Kitsch appearing in a RPS fic(preferably not as a cheating/beating ex-boyfriend, 'cause that would make me sad)? I'll take any length for this one.

Minor specifics: J2 or Sam/Dean as the pairing for the first request ;)

So, in this fandom I've read a lot of stories with Dean worship. You know, a lot of hurt/comfort that focus on Dean's state of mind--low self esteem, abandonment issues, the consequences of his time in hell, etc. Fics where Sam realizes how great a person Dean is or takes time to reassure Dean how much he means to him. Stuff like that.

Well, what I would like is for some recommendations for fics like that only with Sam as the focus. That boy has some serious issues as well! I'd love some fics dealing with Sam's serious self loathing and his extreme fear of losing Dean. (Anything that could bring the Mystery Spot in this would be great.) Maybe some fics where we can see the consequences those four months without Dean had on Sam's psyche and emotional stability. Fics where Dean realizes just how much his death left Sam broken would be especially awesome.

Basically, I want some fics where instead of Sam constantly trying to make up for his mistakes in season 4, he's shown a little love and care instead. :) Gen is fine, but I'd love it especially if it's Wincest.

So, anyone have some recommendations for me?

I love Dean, and I love Bobby, but what I love even more is Dean AND Bobby! Basically I'm looking for anything that has a strong emphasis on the relationship between Dean and Bobby, whether that relationship is sexual, as friends, or in a father/son kind of way.

Previous fics that I've enjoyed are Lost Highway & Or Am I too far Gone (to Get Back Home) by sardonicsmiley, the Junkyard Verse by ianthe-aveira, Like A Father by mummyluvr, and I Can't Remember (the sound that you found for me) by bellatemple.

I love fics with Harley and Sadie, but I'm more of a cat-person then I am a dog-person. Is there any J2 or Wincest fics where one or both have cats? I prefer happy fics but any will do. And self-recs are always welcomed ^_^

I've been looking for a really good story I read the other day, but I lost the link... I can't remember the title, or when it was posted either.

What I do remember: it was a real person fic, J2. Jared went to meet fans on set, there was a mad fan with a gun who tried to shoot "Sam", but then Jensen jumped in front of Jared and got shot. While Jensen recovers, he moves in with Jared, and eventually they fall for each other.

Anyone any ideas where this fic might be found?

I was wondering if anyone knows of any de-aged Castiel fics. I had read one where he was attacked by demons and his grace was ripped out leaving him a child. He found his way to Dean and Sam. They went to Missouri and then Bobby. Uriel contacted Dean in a dream and then Castiel got his grace back. There was a sequel where Dean was de-aged by Ruby and Castiel took care of him.

Are there any others out there?

I read a fic a while back and now I can't find it. All I remember is Jared being sick, somewhere, I think at his real home, and refusing to go to the doctor so his brother called Jensen to make Jared go to the doctor. I can't remember anymore except I think maybe Jensen and Jared were a couple in it and the only one who knew was Jared's brother. Jensen may have flown to Jared's house to convince him to go.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?

1) Are there any Sam/Lucifer fics out there that aren’t all doom and gloom? Kind of like in The Fourth Wall Series (http://community.livejournal.com/libraryofsol/tag/series:+fourth+wall) where it’s more light-hearted?

2) I’m still craving Misha centric fics. I will take absolutely ANY pairing/genre/whatever as long as the fic has a decent amount of focus on Misha.
