I'm not a massive fan of RPS and I can't exactly remember if I liked this story, but I once ended up reading a Jared/Jensen high school AU fic where Jensen was really protective of Jared, as Jared was ill a lot of the time. I started thinking about this fic the other week when I had an asthma attack, because I think that was what Jared had. I might be wrong, but I think in the story, Jensen moved to New York and then Jared was ill again and Jensen went back home to see him. And I remember Chris was in it.

I know that's a useless explanation, but I've been through all the tags I think could be related to this story and I can't find it! Can anyone help? Thank you!

Also, a really general search. Could anyone point me in the direction of some really great season one stories? I'm sort of pining for that season. They don't like each other very much at first and Jensen, who is sitting behind Jared, always has his feet on Jared's seat. I think Jared had a baskettbal stipendium? Also, Jensen is really good in the class and after a while he helps Jares out...

The fic that I was stupid enough not to save was about Jensen/Jared. I think the way the plot went was that Jensen was a business man and he went to go get coffee and while leaving he sees Jared, who is 16, and decides that he wants him. I think he setups a contract with his parents to buy Jared for the weekend, which he does and I think Jared ultimately doesn't want to leave, but Jensen sends him away. Also, I believe in the fic that Jared at one point was wearing a purity ring and that Tom Welling played Jensen's lawyer as well. Seriously, this fic is driving me insane.

Can anyone remember the fic where Jensen and Jared are married but remain next door neighbours? They have kids, Jared gets divorced and married again.Jensen stays married to Danneel for many years. They are, of course, together as well, and in the end there's a kind of resigned 'ex-wives club'. It was a short story and very angst-free. Also non-AU, following their lives post SPN.

I am looking for a specific fic in which Jared and Jensen are neighbors. Jensen is a photographer and is married to Danneel. I think he lives in their basement since he's gay and the only reason he married Dannel was because she got pregnant.
Jared is a teacher and is married to Sandy. J2 eventually start having an affair but Jared doesn't want to leave his wife or lose his teaching job for Jensen.

Also there is a sequel where Jensen gets divorced and ends up moving away and meets another man. I think Danneel marries Tom. And there's a car accident that brings Jared and Jensen back together.

Please help, the search is making me crazy!

I would like any recs for Dean-centric stories - strong, smart, independent, competent, hunts solo, leaves the family, stays with the family but is not overly co-dependent, has stable relationships (romance or friendship) with other people and other hunter, Crossovers, gen, Dean/OMC's, Dean/Cas, Dean/Crowley, Dean/Lisa, Dean/OFC's... 

Yeah, thats sort of what I'm thinking so anything like or similar to these kinds of things would be great.

Also, any similar themed rec lists like Delicious would be awesome.

Alright guys, I'm all of a sudden craving the absolute ANGSTIEST multi-chaptered fics you've ever read. I'm talkin' tear-inducing, life-changing, google-pictures-of-kittens-to-restore-your-faith-in-life sad. Wincest, J2, and Destiel are preferred, but I'll read some gen if you have it. The only things that will squick me are mpreg and cheating.

Dean (or maybe Jensen?) is the son of a powerful mafia type who is on the run from the feds. When Dean was a child his father's enemies attacked their compound while Dean and his little brother Sam (Jared?) were on the beach near their house riding their new horses. The horses where killed and Sam was kidnapped. Dean has spent his whole life searching for his little brother.

For years Dean has employed a hard bitten private investigator to look for his brother. One day the P.I. spots a boy at the mall who has the same odd eyes (I think it was eyes) as Dean's brother. This boy is on an outing with a bunch of other kids and teachers. It turns out that the boy is a prisoner at an institute that does genetic experiments on children. Dean is convinced that this boy is Sam.

The boy says his name is (Michael?) and that he remembers nothing but the institute. However, he has always dreamed about horses. Dean is certain that the boy is Sam and will hear nothing different. (He's borderline crazy about the subject.) I think the boy has some sort of psychic power, but I don't remember what it is.

After Dean and the P.I. break the boy out of his prison Dean and the boy go on the run across the country with goons from the institute on their trail. At one point they stop off to get help from an old friend of Dean's father. I don't to spoil the ending, but it's a fabulous tale with many twists and turns.

Does anyone recognize this story? I'd really love to read it again.

I just read this fic www.fanfiction.net/s/6352795/1/ where Dean has a bad tooth but is terrified of the dentist and Sam must convince him to go. I've read another where one of the brothers has a bad side effect to being knocked out at the dentist. Does anyone know of other good dentist!fics or fics where one of the boys is terrified of the doctor/procedure and needs the other brother to help them through it? I'll take something as silly as Dean needs glasses but Sam must convince him.
