Hey guys! So I just had the most amazing once in a life time experience - my university choir was invited to sing back-up harmonies on stage with Foreigner on "I want to know what love is" at the concert they had here. It was really awesome, we got to watch the concert from the backstage mezzanine, and when we were escorted on stage we went down a stair case lined with plaques signed by all of the bands that had ever performed there. I really felt like VIP, it was so cool! So of course, right afterward all I could think about was how awesome something like this would be as a J2 AU. I'm looking for something along the lines of where Jensen is a rock star and Jared is invited to sing back-up for his band. It would be awesome if it was with a school choir (high school or college), but some other reason is cool too. And then Jared gets to meet Jensen and through a well-written plot things progress and they hook up. Does something like that exist? Because if not, it totally should. I'd also be ok if Jared and Jensen's roles were reversed. Also, if anyone wants to rec me any other J2 AU's where one is a rock star and the other isn't and they some how get together, that would be awesome too. I've read a few, but I'm sure there are lots more out there. No WIPs please. Thank you!

I thought I had this fic in my memories but I can't find it. So anyone who can I help I will be so grateful. Anyway it's a Jared/Jensen story.

Jensen get's cursed by a witch and turned into a dog. It was because he slept with her granddaughter trying to hide the fact he was gay or something along those lines. Anyway he will stay as a dog until he learns to really love another person etc.

Jared work's at a pet store or vet's and on the way to work hit's a dog (Jensen) with his bike. He takes Jensen to his work to fix him. Long story short he takes Jensen home.

I also remember Jeffery Dean Morgan worked with Jared and liked him but Jared wasn't interested. I think Jensen/Jeffery didn't get on.

I have been wading through tons and tons of mental illness recs, but I'm looking for something more specific than just mental illness.

1) Can be Sam, Dean, Jared, or Jensen - gen or any pairing.

I'm looking for one or both of the both in a mental institution for schizophrenia, severe anxieties, paranoia, narcissistic, or other personality disorders. NOT looking for autism, ADHD, etc... I'm looking for dark/intense mental issues. Angst is a must. I'm looking for fics where the "patient" is violent or dangerous, preferably dark, or criminally insane like Moths on the Mirror by fleshflutter.

I've also read:

2) Episode 5x11 Sam Interrupted. The doctor makes a comment about the brother's unhealthy co-dependency. Please mental illness recs where the hospital tries to "fix" Sam and Dean's co-dependency = angsty separation.

Okay, here's another weird, non-specific, hard-to-tag search from me.  I've spent the last few days reading really ridiculous, acrobatic, schmoopy, fluffy, porn and I now really feel like I need some realistic sex (or non-sex if the case may be) to make up for it.  It doesn't necessarily have to be bad sex, just not unrealistic, idealized sex.

Examples include (but are not limited to):
- fics where anal intercourse is not the primary form of sex between two characters
- fics where things get uncomfortable for the bottom (and not in a sexy way, just uncomfortable) partway through
- where one character has to go to the bathroom just as they're getting into things
- fics where the first time a character bottoms he literally cannot get it in
- laughing during sex
- farting during or after sex
- fics where the characters are married, or have kids, or are just busy and therefore haven't had sex with their partner in months
- where a character does not like prostate stimulation, or nipple stimulation, etc.
- where a character injures themselves during (consensual) sex
- where characters have to have a frank discussion about wants/needs/boundries/safewords/never-do-that-again-it-creeps-me-out kind of things

I don't really care that much about pairing, but I am a shameless Dean/Jensen girl, so I guess I prefer stories in which one of them is one half of the pairing.  Any genre is fine- angst, romance, humor, pwp- just as long as it includes realistic sex in some way.



(Sorry mods, there's really no tags that fit this specifically, and if I start tagging pairings or genres or kinks I'm going to end up with a few dozen and I don't think you'd prefer that.  Hope this is okay.)

Hi y'all!

Hope someone can help me with a fic that I lost a bookmark for. It's a J2-AU where Jared is working at a resort of some sort over the summer after he graduates from college. Jared drives the resorts bus. Jensen is an overworked lawyer/executive/celebrity that gets sent to the resort to relax. Jensen sees Jared as a resort fling because he thinks that all Jared wants to do is drive for the resort. Jared instead is a brilliant video game developer who is spending the summer deciding which company to work for. Jensen hurts Jared by calling Jared a fling and that he doesn't want a relationship. Jensen goes back to work, but can't stop thinking about Jared. Jensen goes back to the resort looking for Jared only to find out that Jared is not there and tries to find out where he is to say he's sorry and doesn't care about Jared does for a living.

I tried to be as detailed as I could. Hope someone recognizes this fic.

As the subject states, I'm looking for a J2 AU retelling of the movie "Still Breathing," if there's anything like that out there. The movie is a smaller movie starring Brendan Fraser from 1997. It's a quirky story (summary via IMDB: Two lost souls: she a con-artist in L.A.; he a puppeteer in San Antonio; have the same dream linking each with the other. He travels to L.A. to find this woman he has become obsessed with. She resists, afraid of his kooky ideas until she travels with him to San Antonio and meets his wise grandmother. Story of two disparate people linked by "fate" gets increasingly interesting as it rolls along.)

I definitely see Jared as the street musician, and Jensen as the con artist. If anyone here knows the movie I'm talking about, please chime in and let me know if you agree with me. If anyone cares to watch the movie then give it a J2 retelling, I'll love you forever and ever!

I recently read and adored Starting from Zero Got Nothing to Lose (Fast Car verse) by softshinythings (it's available on AO3). It was wonderful and my intro to Gabriel/Sam, and no I'm wondering if there are other stories with a similar feel.

It's an AU where Dean and Sam are brothers with a difficult home life. Castiel and Gabriel are brothers and are better off. They're all best friends and end up pairing off. One of my favorites aspects of the story is that Gabriel is the eldest, and Sam is the youngest, and Gabriel is very protective of Sam. He doesn't "make a move" or even hint at feelings for Sam until Sam figures out his own feelings.

So, in short, anything even remotely similar out there? I'm really digging AU Gabriel/Sam right now.

I'm looking for J2 recs where one or both has their ears pierced. I would prefer bottom!Jared, warn me if not. I don't care much beyond that and I also have no more guidelines than that...have at it.
