I was reading Relative Gold by the wonderful Dayspring where four year old Sam is presumed dead in a fire and is illegally adopted. Sam and Dean meet again almost twenty years later on the team plane to the Greece Olympics; Dean, who's been living with Bobby for the last several years, on the shooting team and Sam on the swim team. (Note: I have to pause to highly recommend the site Dayspring's Desires where you'll find terrific Supernatural, Highlander, and Harry Potter stories.) Anyway, I started to wonder if there were any stories where the boys were not raised by John. They could be taken away by Social Services. John could turn them over to Bobby, or Pastor Jim, or to Mary's family. Or they could even raise themselves on the streets. Sam and Dean could stay together through the years, or be raised apart. Het, gen, slash, or Wincest, I don't mind. I'd just like to see a story where John meets up with his sons after many years of not contact. Are they happy to see each other? Or are the boys hostile to their absent father? Have they been hunting; or leading another life?

Don't bother recommending the Different Road series by San Antonio Rose and Jenny. Read that one several times and will read it many times more.

Mmmmm, so many good ideas, so little writing talent. I'm forced to rely on the talent of others for good stories.

I'm on an eternal quest to find good self harm/eating disorder fics for dean and jensen, so I'd be happy to get any good ones! it can be any pairing, au or canon, at any age, but it has to be self inflicted (in the case of eating disorder fics). I've already read In a Mirror Distorted and Indistinct and most other often-recced fics though, so lesser-known fics would be much appreciated!

I'd also like some fem!Winchesters, but no curse-related genderswap, simply them being born female. I'd rather them still be hunters, but I like AUs, too. I'd prefer gen fics for this, but dean/cas and or sam/gabriel is fine also. NO wincest on this one, please.

Hi! I was looking for a fic where somebody outside the Winchesters' close circle of friends witnessed Sam using his demon powers or having a premonition. The outside POV could be one of Sam's old college friends, a motel clerk or just some random guy off the street. I'll read wincest and gen but no pairings with any of the angels. Thanks! I'm looking for this fic, Cas was a fledgling angel and crashes into Gabriel Heaven and Cas ends up helping Gabriel deliver some messages, one to Mary (I think), I can't remember the other two but near the end Cas gets separated from Gabe and tries to finish sending the message himself and it starts to drain his grace or something. I remember they had this play fight somewhere with coloured dust or something and Kali was in that scene. It was part of a series, with all the other angels looking after Cas or playing with him or whatever. If anyone remembers it, please link me!

1) So, I just watched On the road and it touched me so much. I'm craving some adventure!fics where the boys are on the road doing the craziest things. It doesn't even have to be based off the movie, I just want adventure and men loving each other, LOL. Slash, please. J2, Dean/Cas, Wincest, whatever. :)
2) Oh, and I vaguely remember this fic where Jensen or Jared is a trucker and they fall in love along the way. Unfortunately I don't remember much, I only know it's the kind of fic I want to read, adventurous and all. In the end the one who is the trucker goes to stay with the other. If you know what fic is it, please let me know as well.

1) Are there stories about Dean finding out that he have a brother named Sam and searching for him and meeting him while keeping a secret about him being Sam's real brother and becoming possessive of Sam?

2) There is a story that I forgot the name and searching for it.  It is about Sam in hiding and having new parents and dating Jessica and Dean is so obsessed with Sam and he killed the parents and Sam coming home and finding them dead in their room and getting knocked out by Dean.  Does anyone know it?
