I'm looking for a fic where Gabriel decides to take Dean to the past to show him that Sam's suffered as much as he has (I think Sam might have been abused by a teacher?). I think it might have been posted on fanfiction.net, but I could be wrong. If you could help me out, I would be grateful!

Hey guys, I was just wondering if there were any fics out there where during the episode Croatoan, Sam isn't immune to the virus and does end up getting infected. Does anyone know any stories that have Sam meeting snobby kids at Stanford (y'know kids who spend summer breaks on yachts)? Or even Sam just realizing how much he doesn't fit in at Stanford? It can be during Stanford or Sam meeting them after Stanford or any variation similar. I don't care if it's gen or wincest or anything else, I'm just desperate to read a fic like this!

I read a story sometime last year - Dean & Castiel were the main characters and I'm pretty sure it was slash. It was an AU, kind of post-apocalyptic. I think Castiel was (and had always been) a human. He had some mental issues, and he and Dean lived together. For at least part of the story Dean was in a wheelchair, but had surgery and was fixed by the end. I think he had been a soldier? I remember he had to play a kind of lottery to qualify for the surgery. Also there was some question of Castiel being taken away because of his mental illness, but Dean was protecting him.

Sorry, that's kind of vague. I might be confusing two stories, actually. Hope someone can help!
