I am trying to find a story I read probably around 2007, it was on FF.net. It was one of the first Supernatural story's I read. It was 'gen' and early on in the show. This is what I remember of the story... Dean and Sam are in the woods (I can't remember why) they come across the ghost of a little boy down in a hole. He and his older brother were in the woods and the young boy fell in, the older brother just left him there to die. At one point Dean is down there with the ghost and he wants to keep Dean as his older brother because his was mean to him. Also they come across a man in the woods (I think the older brother) he has a gun on them and Dean grabs it and turns it on the guy. Sam also gets hurt in the woods, he breaks his arm and there is a part where he's wearing Dean's jacket and Dean has to cut it off of Sam. The thing that stands out is Sam keeps wondering what Dean wants from him, he finally figures out Dean just wants to be a Big Brother. At the end Sam is having Dean show him how he took the gun away from the guy and turned it around on him. I have searched for months! If anyone can help I will greatly appreciate it! *hug* halliwitch
