I read a Destiel fic on ao3 a while ago and can't remember much.

It’s something about hunter!Dean and hunter!Cas meeting a couple of times e.g. in a bar (possibly the Roadhouse) and a motel after Cas took care of a hunt that Dean and Sam were planning to work. They really hit it off but Dean’s too chickenshit to say anything so every time they meet Cas ends up walking away but in the end they finally kiss (read: make out against the wall of a derelict house I think?) because of course Cas is totally into Dean as well and Sam is just trying to ignore them and give them space because he so called it.

Might have been a “5 times” trope I’m not sure. I know it's not much but maybe you can help.

1) Jared and Jensen have known each other since they were younger. All of the scenes have to do with food and how it brings them together, i think the title also has something about food int it. The only thing I really remember is them having a party in their apartment and jared kisses Jensen and says that it doesn't mean anything. So Jensen avoids him thinking that Jared doesnt have feelings for him. Jared gets angry and accuses Jensen of being homophobic and Jensen says that hes never had a problem with Jared being gay. They kiss and make up.

2) The second story im looking for has Jared and Jensen already dating when they go to college and they are roommates. The girl in the dorm next to them has a crush on Jared and tries to steal him form jensen. Jensen walks in on them both half naked and thinks Jared cheated on him so he goes to Jeff and Josh's apartment.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm going crazy trying to find these stories.

• again, not sure if it was gen, wincest or sam/omc but none of these things are an issue either way

Hi! I read these ages ago and can't for the life of me find them again.

1. For some reason, teen!Dean actually takes a couple of driving lessons instead of using a fake license. They show the kids pictures of burned-out cars (and dead bodies?) and Dean kind of breaks down. John finds him crying on the sidewalk, I think.

2. Dean is high on pain killers or cough medicine or something. Sam has to babysit, which is fun at first, but then Dean wanders off and Sam has to find him and bring him back to the motel room. He says something along the lines of "I thought you'd left." and Dean just kind of shrugs and goes "yeah, people leaving sucks, huh?". I'm almost sure this one is an old hoodietime fill.

3. This one I barely remember at all. I know it was set in S1/2 and ends with Dean crying/trying not to cry after revealing something I can't quite remember to Sam and then rejecting Sam's attempts to comfort him. Sam kind of remembers how when they were kids Dean would never accept any kind of help but was always there when Sam needed comforting, so he pretends to be very upset by what Dean just told him, so he will let him hug him. I'm fairly sure it was on ff.net. Might have been one of the 'what if Sam and Dean had had Max's childhood?' fics, but I could be mixing something up there.


And while I'm at it, I know this is super vague, but I'd love any and all recs for sad Dean fics. Not the drowning-in-angst kind and not really depressed!Dean, just... sad fics. Fics that make you sad for Dean and his life, instead of Dean being sad, or even realizing how not-good everything is, if that makes sense. I'd prefer pre-series to S5, but I'm happy to give anything a try.

Hello! I’m looking for Dean being hurt/upset/angry at someone for something they did or said to him, and they have a hard time getting forgiveness. Just want someone really having to earn their way back from sleeping on the couch, literally or metaphorically… Basically just not a fic where Dean rolls over and forgives whoever after a short conversation. Could be anything as serious as cheating on him to as silly as a prank war gone a little too far, or maybe they said something that really hurt his feelings or poked at his insecurities.

Bonus points for crying Dean. Extra bonus points for a pairing fic where Dean literally doesn’t let the person sleep in the same bed until they’re forgiven.

Not really picky about pairing or if there’s a pairing to begin with, so gen is fine too! (also would love fics along the lines of this prompt with hurt Jensen). Self recs welcome.
