I remember reading a sequel to Miss-Annthropic's The Shattered One a long time ago. I've been unable to find it and my attempts to contact Miss-Annthropic have yielded no results. If someone else has read and knows where to find this story I would greatly appreciate it.

Some key points to help jog the memories of others... I recall Dean sort of retiring and moving into what I think used to be Rufus's house with Sam, Castiel, and Daniel. At some point Castiel gets ill and Daniel has to be taken to Heaven to survive and when he returns his Grace is strong strong enough to self-sustain. Balthazar shatters and Zachariah helps him with the separation. That one becomes Daniel's best friend and eventually chooses a vessel that Sam and his new lady adopt. Michael ends up shattering as well and Castiel uses part of his Grace to help but it is only enough to help Michael last until Gabriel shows up to finish assisting...

Those are the key points that stick out in my memory. And, as you can see, there was quite a lot of shattering going on, so I'm positive it was the sequel to The Shattered One. I hope my brain didn't somehow make all of this up and it never really existed to begin with. That's a rather frightening prospect.

I'm looking for a story I read a long time ago. what I can remember about this fic is that there was a school shooting and dean was killed in it. He was trying to talk down the shooter and I think that the shooter accidently killed him. I think that the shooter felt bad about killing dean because dean was one of the few people that was nice to him. I'm not sure if he turned himself in or if he killed himself. I do know that after dean dies sam, when he is in class,I don't remember if it was in Stanford or high school but I know that in the class they talked about the shooting and brought up dean and his part in it and how he saved people I think and sam was sitting in the class and i think that people knew dean was his brother.
That's all I remember about it and it was written nicely It made me cry. I have tried searching for it in ao3 and fanfic.net but I don't remember which one it was in.
