Guys, I really hope you can help me find this quickly.  Here's what I recall:   The story begins with various 'sightings' of Sam, I think - some recognize him as Lucifer's vessel, some don't.  (They're like small posts in a newspaper, I think, or maybe like someone interviewing various people across the post-apocalyptic U.S.)

At some point there's a little boy who had his picture taken with Sam in Chicago, before he said yes to Lucifer - somehow that photograph finds its way back to Sam or Dean (who are separated at the beginning of this story).

That is all I can remember - any bells?  Please and thank you so, so much.

Sorry in advance for the very vague search. Im sure I remember a fic that Mary accidentally binds the boys souls together with a spell. She and a group of women (not sure if she was wiccan or a coven) cast a spell to try and protect Sam before the yellow eyed demon came but wee-dean was hidden behind the door and got caught up in the spell. I am pretty sure Mary still dies.
