An earlier post reminded me of a one-shot I read some time ago and now I can't find.

It was either Jeff/Jensen or J2 (I think the former). The marriage was arranged by Jensen's parents. What I remember vividly was that Jensen was an artist and he took his frustration out by painting pictures of Jeff dying in increasingly inventive ways. I'm sure it ended happily. I've had a trawl through AO3's arranged marriage tag and can't find it. I need a better filing system (and by better, I mean I actually need one instead of just saving the pdf's of everything I like in one big folder)

I'm looking for fic dealing with Dean's hell-related trauma. But since I've already read a lot of stories in the genre, I'd prefer some less obvious recs. Maybe ones that were written more recently or never got as much attention as you thought they deserved. Maybe they're even set in later seasons. As long as they're well-characterized and explore Dean's post-hell issues I'm interested. That said, I'll take any hell!Dean recs, as I'm sure there are relatively well known fics that I may have neglected to check out as well.

I'm also interested in Sam/Dean fic that is set in s4 (or later) and doesn't ignore Dean's post-hell trauma. It doesn't have to be the focus of the story as long as it plays a part in Dean's characterization and the conflict between the brothers. And while I love and appreciate protective!Sam it doesn't have to be a fix-it. I like how dark and complicated things were between them during that era so more of that would be nice.

Just no hurt!Sam/caretaker!Dean please. It's pretty self-explanatory based on my request but better to be safe!
