On the Dodge (http://candle-beck.livejournal.com/126381.html) by [livejournal.com profile] candle_beck is a Cowboy!AU with a real tear-jerker of an ending. It's pretty long, almost 40k words. If you've seen Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid, though, you might already know how it ends.

Anything by [livejournal.com profile] candle_beck is wonderful, though, provided you're into that whole slow-moving, tension-filled buildup thing. :D
