He finds his only escape from his overbearing family in his passion for writing, the local bookstore, and the hope of a chance encounter with the town’s outcast, Jared Padalecki. Jared is a free spirit, something Jensen has always secretly envied. Things suddenly change when Jensen gets devastating news from the family doctor. Making the bravest decision of his life, he ventures out into the unknown, to a place that will take him away from all he has ever truly known, to a new life, joining a family of his choosing, and possibly bringing him closer to the one man that he’s been secretly falling for.
