I'm looking for an older fic, one of the first I read in this pairing. It was post Supernatural and Jensen and Jared had been lovers, but they had broken up. Jensen goes on and does his own thing - eventually has a script for a movie about a guy and his older male lover and he approaches JDM to be the male lover.
