Hi,
I'm looking for a fic that must have been posted back in August/September once the first spoilers came out about the Sam-Amelia-Dog storyline. It basically described the events of Sam hitting the dog and getting roped into taking care of it by Amelia the vet and then he ended up staying with her. They started a kind of friends-with-benefits relationship, it came out that she had lost her husband about a year before and the bonded over their mutual loss until Dean knocked on the door after some time and Amelia let Sam go because she realized that what he'd lost came back to him.
Basically it's speculation about the Sam-Arc from the limited info of that one flashback scene, medium length, no more than 10k I think. Does anyone remember that one? That would totally be awesomesauce.

PS: Mods, can we get an Amelia tag, or is that considered s8 spoiler?

Found! I happened on it myself again after all... it's Resurrection by runedgirl which is an amazing story btw.
