I'm currently working on one, but alas, it'll be a while before it's put up (at least December). However, I have read a story that's AU for SPN--it was great, and it turns out it now has sequels. It's by Pyralis Anacreon (http://www.fanfiction.net/u/2043348/Pyralis-Anacreon) on fanfiction.net. There are three stories/parts so far, but the first one is Gunpoint Politics. Summary: Dean Winchester was just eleven years old when the lights went out. Since then, things have changed a lot.
